Park your car in your free parking space, unpack and let your vacation on Fehmarn begin. The large vacation home with a south-facing terrace and small garden is perfect for relaxing, playing and soaking up the sun.
Make yourself comfortable on the terrace with a delicious meal, a snack or a drink and let the sun shine on your face and feel the stress of everyday life slowly slip away. Of course, you can also make yourself comfortable on the couch and watch TV, play board games or simply read your favorite book in peace.
Spend your time exactly as you like - without a guilty conscience, deadlines or time pressure.
Is it time to eat something? Then cook yourself something delicious in the kitchen. Here you'll find everything you need to conjure up delicious meals or quick snacks. The vacation home Inselblume 06 is located on the first floor in the quiet residential area "An der Reiterkoppel" in Burg auf Fehmarn. The area is about a 10-minute walk outside the town center of Burg and slightly away from the south beach. Nevertheless, you have excellent connections, which means you can reach the south beach or the center of Burg auf Fehmarn in just a few minutes by bike or car.
On the way to the center of Burg, you could, for example, stop by the famous ice cream parlor "Raddens Eis" and take a top-class soft ice cream with you before continuing your way to the old town. In the old town you will find most of the stores, restaurants, cafés and a wide range of activities as well as some culture.
The south beach is Fehmarn's most popular bathing beach, with fine, yellow sand and the slowly deepening Baltic Sea. Even children and inexperienced swimmers can safely cool off here and slowly go deeper into the water. The beach is also largely DLRG-monitored, making it even safer.
If you have your dog with you, you will also find a dog beach on the south beach where you can all play, swim and relax together. The stone beach at Katharinenhof is also excellent for young and old, as well as dogs. Here you can go for a walk and look for and collect stones, starfish, amber and many other little treasures.
You can also get to the harbor in Burgstaaken quickly and easily. There you can buy fresh fish from the cutter, go to the submarine museum, visit the dark experiment and even book excursions on a fishing boat or speedboat.

It is only a 10-minute walk to the center of Burg, which invites you to stroll and feast with its historic alleys. If you want to go swimming on the south beach, you can easily reach it by bike. The Burgstaaken harbor is also in close proximity, where you can buy your fish directly from the boat in the morning or take it out yourself.

Island Flower 06
We felt very comfortable with the dog Rica. Wonderful quiet and super centrally located. The only thing we would complain about would be the dishwasher. It needs a "renovation," as the baskets are actually quite "worn out." The oven also doesn't seem to last much longer, as it took forever to heat up. And unfortunately, the knives are still the old ones... But after all, one doesn't go to Fehmarn for that, but because it is beautiful here. And the apartment is it too!! And the lovely little terrace... simply beautiful!!

Apartment, service, and location all great.
We have already been to the apartment for the 4th time with a small dog. Equipment, location, and service are simply great. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful large cozy accommodation
The apartment was very inviting and bright. Very good central location to the town center of Burg or South Beach, simply pleasant, we would love to come back.

Vacation in Fehmarn June 2024
Super accommodation, very clean and very well furnished. We particularly liked the quiet location. With 13 days of sunshine, the name "Sunny Island" has definitely proven true. Our dog Ben also felt very comfortable in the apartment and on the terrace. Always happy to return!

Beautiful apartment, nicely located in a quiet area.
We found the apartment in good and clean condition. The outdoor area was also very well maintained. We liked the apartment very much. The layout of the rooms and their size were perfect. The location offers small walks but also more distant destinations that can be reached on foot if desired. The beds were perfect. It's great to have a private parking space right in front of the door. What we didn’t like so much was the sofa. It was different from what was shown in the photo; it had a very wide seat that made it hard to impossible for an older person to sit on. That was a real problem for my mother. Moreover, it was already very worn out. The kitchen knives are a disaster, dull and cutting wherever they want. But well, we could live with that. I deducted stars for the price-performance ratio because I really find it outrageous to have to pay 10 euros per day for a dog. Of course, the final cleaning is different, but 70 euros for a week and not even any bowls or similar on site is simply too much for me. We have experienced it differently before. Despite everything, we had a nice and safe holiday in this apartment, even during a century storm flood.
