Welcome to this nice cottage on holiday idyllic Blidö. Here you live in a comfortable and nice house with a nice associated guest cottage. Enjoy nice baths and nice walks and experiences on lovely Blidö. The cottage has an open floor plan between living rooms and a spacious kitchen with separate dining area. In the living room there is a comfortable seating area where you have a wood burning stove for cozy evenings. The house contains two bedrooms, one with a double bed and in the other there is a sofa bed for one person and TV. The bathroom is fresh and newly renovated. There is also a washing machine. Right next door is the guest house which contains two rooms where one contains a sofa bed for two people as well as a dining area and kitchenette. In the second room there is a bunk bed. Retracted water is available in the guest house during warm months as it freezes during winter. On the terrace there is the possibility of fine barbecue dinners. Bathing area with sandy beach is about 700 m from the house or you can swim from the boat harbor which is closer. Blidö is one of Roslagen's most popular destinations. You can get here with a couple of minutes ride on a car ferry that runs several times an hour from Furusund via the island of Yxlan. You get off the ferry and cross Yxlan before you drive on the next ferry that takes you to Blidö. This goes very quickly and smoothly. Blidö has everything from a shop, bakery, church, medical center and farmhouses. Here you can play paddle, mini golf and go to flea markets. Just outside Blidö is Norröra, where Saltkråkan was recorded, one of Astrid Lindgren's famous works, If you want to enjoy a good bite to eat, you can do it at Blidö Brygga and Bistro which some evenings also have entertainment, or why not take the ferry over to Furusund's inn. For those of you who want more pulse and speed, central Stockholm has a lot to offer for large and small interests such as the castle, Skansen or Gröna Lund! Feel free to go with Vaxholmsbolaget's tour boats that go shuttle service to and from Blidö is a very popular destination, one of the few places you can get so smoothly and far out in the archipelago by car, bus and ferry.
