Last minute op zoek naar een plekje voor een paar dagen na onze zomervakantie in Egypte en voordat we terug naar huis wilde. Toevallig vakantiepark Leukermeer gevonden en gekeken welke accommodaties nog beschikbaar waren. We kwamen uit bij een "Floating House". Wat een heerlijke plek. Na 2 weken in een mega-resort was dit een oase van rust. Prachtig uitzicht op het meer vanaf het terras van de 'woonboot' en met een trapje kan je zo het meer in om te zwemmen. Ook op het terras van de accommodatie een heerlijk strandbankje, 2 ligbedden en een tafel met 4 stoelen. Op het dak van de accommodatie ook nog een zonneterras met tafel en stoelen. Luxe ingericht en voldoende (opberg!-) ruimte voor 4 personen. Als je de gordijnen aan de zijkant sluit waan je je als enige op het meer (half oktober) met alleen de zwanen en ganzen. Comfortabele meubels, verrassend ruim en alle ruimtes apart voorzien van koeling/verwarming. Gashaard in de woonkamer is niet alleen sfeervol maar ook heerlijk warm. Enig minpunt....een zeer klein 2-pits kookplaatje waar net 2 kookpannen maar slechts 1 koekenpan tegelijk op passen. Koken voor 4 personen vergt dus enige creativiteit

But we will not book it again, if you are lucky you can only drive up to Mio Mucho and then you have to carry everything down to the houseboat, we are both older, 68 and 70 years, we can't manage that so well anymore. We both (my girlfriend and I) really enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable. The furnishings of the houseboats are perfect for my taste (my own home is similarly decorated :-)). The atmosphere on the water is indescribably beautiful... calming and invigorating at the same time... unique! It's a shame that we couldn't fully use the terrace and the sun deck, but that was due to the weather. Shit happens! The entire facility is beautifully designed, very well maintained, and wonderfully green. We will definitely come back and bring the sun with us :-) Furthermore, we will try to book houseboat 5, as it is a bit more "private" there. However: The stay was a great enrichment for us and we found it great that we could already get on the boat before 4 PM. . . .

The FH 3 was very nice, well-equipped with everything; unfortunately, the towels only arrived after two complaints. The view of the water with ducks and swans was very idyllic, but the motorboats racing around aimlessly until the evening were very disturbing to the evening idyll! We rented a houseboat, we liked it very much. Very nicely furnished, cozy atmosphere everywhere. Then we wanted to take a quick shower and realized that there were no towels available - these had to be booked and paid for separately, which was not stated anywhere and I think is absolutely unnecessary and should be standard in every accommodation!!!! Otherwise everything was perfect - from the terrace directly into the water - wonderful!

The houseboat was very beautiful, modernly furnished, very cozy, and has almost everything you need for your stay. The Leukermeer holiday park is a very nice park, clean, beautifully laid out, and offers several options to pass the time.

Our stay on the houseboat was very nice, we were able to relax well due to the peace and the great view. The house is very modernly furnished and very well maintained. It was difficult to say goodbye and we hope that we have the opportunity to come back again.

The Floating House was clean and modernly furnished. The beach bar had a very good gastronomic offer. Overall, the area was very clean and well-kept. Super fast service in problem solving. That was really great. From reporting at the reception to the first visit, not even half an hour passed.

The interior of the floating house was very cozy and the view of the water, even in rainy weather, was beautiful. When we encountered small issues (with hot water and gas), they were addressed promptly and fixed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back!
