Floating House

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

Last minute looking for a spot for a few days after our summer vacation in Egypt and before we wanted to go back home. By chance found holiday park Leukermeer and checked which accommodations were still available. We ended up with a "Floating House." What a lovely place. After 2 weeks in a mega-resort, this was an oasis of peace. Beautiful view of the lake from the terrace of the 'houseboat' and with a little staircase, you can go straight into the lake to swim. Also on the terrace of the accommodation a lovely beach bench, 2 sun loungers, and a table with 4 chairs. On the roof of the accommodation also a sun terrace with table and chairs. Luxuriously furnished and sufficient (storage! -) space for 4 people. If you close the curtains on the side, you feel like the only one on the lake (mid-October) with only the swans and geese. Comfortable furniture, surprisingly spacious, and all areas separately equipped with cooling/heating. The gas stove in the living room is not only atmospheric but also wonderfully warm. Only downside... a very small 2-burner hotplate where only 2 pots but just 1 frying pan fit at the same time. Cooking for 4 people therefore requires some creativity.

4,9 4.9 4.9 4.9 4.9 4.9

We spent a few beautiful days.

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

It is a great facility and the Floating House by the lake has a great location. We would love to come back.

4,4 4.4 4.4 4.4 4.4 4.4

We had a floating house and it was great to have breakfast right by the water in the morning. We also really enjoyed stand-up paddleboarding without having to carry it for ages beforehand, but going straight onto the water.

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

The stay was very nice again. The houseboat was really very beautiful and we will repeat that. However, the guests behind the houseboats were very disrespectful and played loud music with a lot of bass until late at night. That was annoying because we were there to relax.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

The boats were perfect and the direct access to the water was particularly beautiful. The outdoor area was so cozy for all of us. We could unwind and let our souls dangle. Everything was uncomplicated and there were many options for leisure and sports. We would especially like to highlight the restaurants with their particularly friendly staff.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

Wonderful! I was with 2 friends at your place, we are thrilled and would love to come back. Beautiful park, everyone very friendly, we felt comfortable. Right by the water, gorgeous nature. Thank you! For this vacation experience! Best regards

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

The houseboat was very nice, we liked it very much. But we will not book it again, if you are lucky you can only drive up to Mio Mucho and then you have to carry everything down to the houseboat, we are both older, 68 and 70 years, we can't manage that so well anymore. And also parking the car for the houseboat is much too far away.

4,9 4.9 4.9 4.9 4.9 4.9

We have been on other houseboats that were also nice, but this one was simply the most beautiful, great amenities, great view, and we will continue dreaming about the fireplace for the next few days..... Plenty of space, great layout, and above all, pure nature, we will come back.

4,4 4.4 4.4 4.4 4.4 4.4

We both (my girlfriend and I) really enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable. The furnishings of the houseboats are perfect for my taste (my own home is similarly decorated :-)). The atmosphere on the water is indescribably beautiful... calming and invigorating at the same time... unique! It's a shame that we couldn't fully use the terrace and the sun deck, but that was due to the weather. Shit happens! The entire facility is beautifully designed, very well maintained, and wonderfully green. We will definitely come back and bring the sun with us :-) Furthermore, we will try to book houseboat 5, as it is a bit more "private" there. However: The stay was a great enrichment for us and we found it great that we could already get on the boat before 4 PM. . . .

4,6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6 4.6

We actually liked everything, except for the long distance to the parking lot, especially if you have mobility issues; it would be nice if one could borrow a cart for luggage.

Our stay was by the water, beautiful view. Nice surroundings and plenty to do.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The FH 3 was very nice, well-equipped with everything; unfortunately, the towels only arrived after two complaints. The view of the water with ducks and swans was very idyllic, but the motorboats racing around aimlessly until the evening were very disturbing to the evening idyll! Nonetheless, Mrs. Elke Bach and I enjoyed our time very much and we will definitely come back! Elke Bach and Dr. med. Werner Neuweiler

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

We rented a houseboat, we liked it very much. Very nicely furnished, cozy atmosphere everywhere. Then we wanted to take a quick shower and realized that there were no towels available - these had to be booked and paid for separately, which was not stated anywhere and I think is absolutely unnecessary and should be standard in every accommodation!!!! Otherwise everything was perfect - from the terrace directly into the water - wonderful!

4,2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2 4.2

The houseboat was very beautiful, modernly furnished, very cozy, and has almost everything you need for your stay. The Leukermeer holiday park is a very nice park, clean, beautifully laid out, and offers several options to pass the time.

Dreamy view of the lake, great amenities, air conditioning, beach chair. Unfortunately, the Floating House was not completely clean (ashes on the garden table; used sanitary napkin in the closet behind the toilet, no trash can in the bathroom, trash can smelled musty)
