Description
By preserving the historical substance and through committed new architecture, our house mediates between tradition and modernity. In some cases, old elements, such as the over 200-year-old exterior staircase and banisters, have not been changed, or special solutions have been implemented for design reasons. The interior stairs are therefore relatively steep, open to the room on one side, without railings. Old original stone walls were preserved in the interiors, and a rustic farmhouse terrazzo was installed. All materials are therefore in keeping with the rural setting of the property. Visitors are therefore advised to check the photos before booking to see whether the property can meet their own requirements. We would also like to point out that our house is not suitable for small children up to about 4 years of age, as there are some unsecured fall areas.
The house develops on 3 levels:
Living room with sofa bed for max. 3 persons or children (one single bed and one double sofa bed), WC, shower and stove on the ground floor
Kitchen and dining area on the upper floor
Sleeping area for 2 persons with double bed, terrace and bathroom on the top floor
(The two sleeping areas can be accessed independently of each other and each have their own washing and WC units)
The prices quoted for the house are for two persons.
For each additional person 10,00 € per night will be charged.
Children up to 18 years of age are exempt and do not have to pay a surcharge.

Location and surroundings of object
The renovated and carefully converted natural stone house is located in a small village above the bay of Podgora. From the sea, you reach the village of Marinovici after about 5km via a serpentine road and a relatively steep access road. The settlement consists mainly of natural stone houses and is situated on a slope, surrounded by gardens and olive groves. The view of the sea is breathtakingly beautiful, the old harbour of Podgora is within reach and can be reached by experienced hikers in 15 minutes on narrow footpaths downhill.
