Relax and unwind at the East Frisian Wadden Sea, far away from rush and hustle! Sit on the jetty, sunbathe, and watch the ducks! Or did you bring your fishing rod? Go ahead, fishing from the jetty is also possible. If the wind picks up, retreat to the partially covered terrace and consider whether you want to barbecue here in the evening. All this is possible in our cozy, continuously renovated ground floor apartment in the popular apartment building "Wangerooge", far from mass tourism.
The apartment is a corner unit, so there is a window in every room and a side gate to the fully fenced garden. The apartment has a generously sized living-dining area with an integrated kitchenette. The leather seating area invites you to relax, read, or watch TV.
Wi-Fi is available and can be used free of charge. At the beautiful solid wood dining table with four chairs, you can eat, chat, or play one of the board games that are in the restored TV cabinet. In the small but fine kitchenette, a dishwasher, an oven, a refrigerator with freezer compartment, and a ceramic hob with two burners are waiting to be used. Two bedrooms, each with two beds, promise a restful sleep after a day in the healthy North Sea air. The children's room has an unusual bunk bed with two sleeping areas measuring 140 x 190. The bathroom is brightly tiled and features a toilet, a shower, a washbasin, and a washing machine. And important for ventilation... it has a window. A storage room with all kinds of equipment that you might need on vacation completes the apartment. In addition, a communal bicycle cellar is available to you. Or you can simply park your bikes in the little garden. Your car will have a parking space reserved for you.

Location and surroundings of object
The "Sonnengärtchen am Siel" is located directly on the Dornumer Sieltief. It is a ten-minute walk past restaurants, cafés and ice-cream parlours to the centre of Dornumersiel and Westeraccumersiel. There is also a bakery and a grocery shop here. Stroll along the beautiful lake, the Mahlbusen, towards the yacht and fishing harbour. Here you can get fresh fish sandwiches. Perhaps sit down on a bench on the dyke and let the wind whisper around your nose. On a clear day, you can see four offshore East Frisian islands from here: Spiekeroog, Langeoog, Baltrum and Norderney. Or you can go to the beach, dig a bit in the sand and watch the kiters. The heated seawater swimming pool in Dornumersiel also invites you to visit. Many hikers walk with their four-legged friends along the dyke to Nessmersiel. There is a dog beach and an adjacent agility park. The ferries to Baltrum from Nessmersiel or to Langeoog from Bensersiel are also popular for spending a wonderful day on one of the islands. Destinations for other day trips are the bear town of Esens and the other seaside resorts along the coast.
