Description
The cottage is cosy but with contemporary comfort and design. With attention to history, it has been fully restored, insulated and underfloor heating installed. The cottage can accommodate up to 6 people.
Kitchen
Opposite the old kitchen sink, we installed a new one with a dishwasher and an induction hob.
Behind the curtains you will find all the pots and pans you need to prepare your daily meal.
Living room
In the living room, you can see the old beams and the floor has been removed for a spacious effect. Where the stove used to be, we opted for an atmospheric fireplace. From the living room, you can walk through the French doors into the garden.
Bedrooms
Right next to the living room used to be the pigsty and coal shed. Here is now the master bedroom with a double box spring. Here there are also stairs to the mezzanine with two more beds. If necessary, we can add a cot. Furthermore, above the kitchen there is another bedroom with two beds.

Location and surroundings of object
Kreverhille is a hamlet belonging to the village of Walsoorden and can be found in burgundy Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. It is grand and peaceful. Ideal for long walks and beautiful cycling trips. You live here in the middle of nature and farmland. The area is very varied and offers something for everyone: from exertion to relaxation.
Step out of the door and cross the dyke. You are face to face with the impressive Scheldt. The Western Scheldt is one of the busiest shipping routes in the world. That is why there is always something to see here. From small sailing boats to the world's largest container ships sailing to Antwerp. Despite all this 'hustle and bustle', photographers and birdwatchers can enjoy themselves here. Several bird watching huts can be found nearby.

Our cottage is located in the middle of farmland interspersed with rugged nature. The Drowned Land of Saeftinghe is perhaps the best known. Saeftinghe is a tidal nature reserve where you can walk and photograph. There is a museum and you can go deeper into the area with a guide.
Nearby, villages are scattered everywhere. Kloosterzande is the nearest village where you can find all amenities; the artisanal bakery and butcher, several restaurants and cafés, a supermarket and a weekly market every Wednesday.
