You can hardly get closer to the sea........
than " Bi uns to Huus" in the house "Antonie", only 2 minutes on foot from the dyke and directly behind it stretches the kilometre-long sandy beach for which Schillig, the pearl of the southern North Sea, is so popular.
Our comfort bungalow is cosy, fully equipped and renovated in 2023. Besides terrace and garage, it offers you on 80 m² 2 stylish and generously furnished bedrooms with 1 double bed (200x100 cm), 2 single beds (200x100 cm) and a loft bed (190x90 cm),
2 modern bathrooms, 1 cosy living room (20 m²) and a stylish eat-in kitchen.
In absolute peace and quiet you can switch off, relax and gather strength for everyday life. Our North Sea holiday home is the ideal starting point for cycling tours to the sea and the wide Frisian landscape for a single holiday, a holiday for two or a holiday for the whole family. Behind the house, the terrace is sheltered from the wind and offers the opportunity to play, sunbathe, barbecue and whatever else makes a holiday even more enjoyable, not forgetting a little afternoon nap in the fresh North Sea air. Pure enjoyment! Garden furniture, sun loungers, parasol and charcoal barbecue are at your disposal.
After a long walk on the beach, sandy feet and the sound of the sea in your ears, you can relax on the bench in front of the house entrance and enjoy the last rays of sunshine of the day or have a long chat with other guests and walkers.
All additional costs are included in the rental price, except for visitor's tax, which has to be paid on site.

Beautiful holidays in the holiday home "Antonie"! Experience sun, sand and "sea" in a quiet central location
Our detached clinker bungalow is situated in a very quiet holiday home settlement directly behind the dyke. When choosing the furnishings, we placed special emphasis on naturalness and harmony. It is only a few minutes' walk to the centre of the village with its many shops, bicycle hire, cinema, playground, mini-golf course, restaurants and ice-cream parlour.
Holiday resort and surroundings
The North Sea spa Horumersiel-Schillig, the jewel of the southern North Sea, situated in the most north-westerly corner of Germany and in the heart of Wangerland, is a recognised health resort with all the necessary facilities (spa doctors, spa centre, North Sea thermal baths). Bathing began here as early as 1856, after a heavy storm tide completely destroyed the beach on the island of Wangerooge. In the meantime, the health resort has become one of the most popular holiday destinations in Germany, with 1 million overnight stays every year. Directly by the sea and in the middle of the unique Wadden Sea National Park, you will find healthy air and a healing climate.
The wide range of leisure activities make Horumersiel-Schillig an attractive holiday destination for young and old. Hike, walk, cycle or ride through the wonderful nature. Brave the wind and waves with deep-sea fishing, sailing, surfing or kite surfing. Explore what's going on in the mud flats! Active holidaymakers get their money's worth just as much as lazy people. For those who want to relax, we recommend the numerous wellness and beauty offers at the Kurmittelhaus and the Friesland Therme.
Families with children in particular are regular guests in Horumersiel-Schillig, which has won several awards in the national competition for family holidays. The child-friendly beach, the weather-independent North Sea play town in the "Dorf Wangerland" in Hohenkirchen, the Klabautermann indoor play park in Esens, the "Bullermeck" in Hooksiel or the indoor play park "Sturmfrei" in Neßmersiel offer play, fun and relaxation for the whole family. With attractive rides, many climbing frames, free-climbing facilities, go-kart tracks, indoor roller coasters, bungee trampolines and giant slides up to 40 metres long, the play parks are guaranteed to keep you entertained. While the "little ones" can really let off steam in the huge play parks, mum and dad have the opportunity to switch off undisturbed at the various "seating oases" or watch their kids having fun. "It is worth mentioning that your children up to the age of 18 do not have to pay any visitor's tax.

Cancellation terms:
If the tenant cancels the contract without providing a replacement tenant, the deposit will be forfeited. The cancellation must be submitted no later than 60 days before the start of the rental period. If the cancellation occurs later, the full rental price is due unless the landlord is able to rent the unit to someone else. It is recommended to take out travel cancellation insurance.

The large seawater aquarium "Ozeanis", the German Naval Museum with its submarine and the frigate "Emden" offer plenty of variety for young and old, old and young.
Cutter harbour tour: Discover the romantic, old fishing villages of Neuharlingersiel, Carolinensiel, Greetsiel, Hooksiel and Dornumersiel with their picturesque house backdrops and dreamy crab cutters.
Windmill Tour: Visit the historic buildings in Aurich, Dornum, Esens, Großefehn, Marienhafe, Norddeich, Uplengen, Werdum and Wittmund.
Lighthouse Tour: Visit the centuries-old signposts of shipping on Borkum, Wangerooge, Norderney, Krummhörn, in Dangast and Emden.
Island tour: During the season, passenger ships take you daily to the neighbouring East Frisian islands of Borkum, Juist, Norderney, Baltrum, Langeoog, Spiekeroog, Wangerooge or to Helgoland, Sylt or Amrum. A visit with its eventful impressions says more than a thousand words.
Boat tour: A leisurely day trip on a fishing boat around Schillig-Horumersiel to the bird island of Minsener Oldeoog, Mellum Island or to the seal banks is always an experience and fun for the whole family.

Holiday home in a dream location
The house Antonie is located in a quiet area in close proximity to the beautiful natural beach of Schillig. Even in the summer season, the expansive sandy beach offers a quiet spot for both people and dogs. Restaurants, a beach bar, a bakery, and small shops are also within a few minutes' walk. The nearest grocery store is about 2 km away. The house is cozy, and the kitchen is very well equipped. There is also a small secluded, wind-protected terrace with seating and the possibility for grilling. We felt very comfortable.

Beautiful vacation home in a very good location!
We had a great week in the holiday home Antonie. There was nothing missing in the amenities. The beach proximity (max. 5 min. walk) is excellent. And after a long day in the fresh North Sea air, we could sleep very well in the beds.
