Villa Piero della Francesca can be reached by an easy scenic road, and is only 1.5 km from Urbania, a delightful Montefeltro village surrounded by hills and crossed in its historic centre by the Metauro river; here you will find all the shops and services, as well as excellent wine bars and restaurants for discovering the local specialities. Don't miss a visit to the Ducal Palace and the Church of the Dead and the Mummies.
From Urbania it is possible to reach the splendid Urbino, a UNESCO heritage site, in 20 minutes and Acqualagna, capital of the prized white truffle, in a quarter of an hour, as well as the spectacular nature reserve of the Furlo Gorge. The coast, for a refreshing dip in the sea, is less than an hour away.
