Welcome to a small red house with white knots called Grävlingsberg. Only a stone's throw from a lovely swim at Vänern's beautiful beach - Hörviken. The house is located in the countryside close to Läckö castle, Hinden reef and the fishing village Spiken. Grävlingsberg is located on a family farm and shares land with another residence called Ekeberg. There are additional houses on the farm that can be booked for larger groups. House number: 52631 - Ekeberg, House number: 52688 - Klockrike, and House number: 52689 - Skogshyddan. The house has a nice terrace in a sunny position with outdoor furniture and barbecue. You are welcomed into a narrow hall. The bathroom is directly to the right and is fully tiled, small but smartly planned. There is a sink, wc, shower cubicle and washing machine here. Then you enter the heart of the house - the kitchen. The roof goes up to the ridge and has an older charm. Here there is a dining table and seating for 4-6 people. The house has an older, homely interior. Along the two walls in the kitchen/living room, there are individual ladders that lead you up to two cozy sleeping lofts with sloping ceilings. Up here there are bed mattresses that are welcome to be used. Keep in mind that there are no railings so it is only recommended for older children/young people who can easily and easily get up and down from the loft via the ladders. Between the lofts there is a rope that you can pass between. The bedroom is next to the kitchen and is a smaller bedroom with two single beds. The innermost room is a living room with a TV corner. Here there are board games, books and even a place to sleep. The sleeping place is a single bed that is 90 cm wide. In total, the accommodation can accommodate 5 people. The water in the house is called "Vänervatten"(Lake Vänern water) and can be used for cooking, showering, and washing in. It is possible to drink the water to the house. A rowing boat and two kayaks are available at the bottom of Hörviken for rent - shared with guests in the other houses - rented for a price per day per boat/kayak. You, along with the guests in the other houses, has full access to the boat house. More information is available in the accommodation and by contacting the service office. In Hörviken's Marina you can listen to live music and eat good food, buy ice cream and swim during the summer. The area invites you to beautiful hiking trails and boat trips from the areas Naven and Spiken. Hörviken’s Marina is only 1 km away by car. The bathing dock is at the last pier at the Marina. Cliff bathing is a must at Naven. For families with children, there is a sandy beach at Läckö castle, Läckö beach and Svalnäs. You can also rent bicycles at the Marina and kayaks can be rented at Naven. Fine hiking trails, pilgrimage trails, can be found at Läckö, Läckö beach and Otterstad, which invite you to explore the area. For those interested in golf, it is only 4 km to Läckö golf.
