Welcome to a charming log cabin at Hörviken Granvik on Kållandsö. The cabin is called Klockrike and is located in the countryside with close proximity to lovely swimming at Vänern's beautiful beach - Hörviken. Here you are close to many fine sights such as Läckö castle, Hinden reef and the fishing village Spiken. The house is located in a beautiful landscape, on a family farm with several different houses. The site is shared with other houses that can also be booked for larger groups. House number: 52631 - Ekeberg, House number: 52687 - Grävlingsberg, and House number: 52689 - Skogshyddan. The house is small but smartly planned and has a large family room as a social area. The balcony outside has outdoor furniture and is the perfect place to have your first cup of coffee of the day. The second veranda is perfect for enjoying the evening sun. From the balcony you come straight into the large living room, which is reminiscent of a classic log cabin with nice furnishings. The bathroom is directly to the left with a shower cubicle, a toilet and a sink. You will find a washing machine in the basement. The kitchen area is smaller but has most of what you might need. Next to the kitchen is a smaller bedroom with a built-in bunk bed with a wider lower bed of 120 cm and upper bed 80 cm wide. Along one wall in the living room is a ladder that leads you to the sleeping loft with a slanted ceiling. Up here are bed mattresses that you are welcome to use. The loft is cozy and a good crawl-in for children/young people. In the living room there is a fireplace with two comfortable armchairs, a sofa and a TV. There is a sofa bed 160 cm wide as a complement. The water in the house is called "Vänervatten"(Lake Vänern water) and can be used for cooking, showering, and washing in. It is possible to drink the water to the house. A rowing boat and two kayaks are available at the bottom of Hörviken for rent - shared with guests in the other houses - rented for a price per day per boat/kayak. You, along with the guests in the other houses, has full access to the boat house. More information is available in the accommodation and by contacting the service office. In Hörviken's Marina you can listen to live music and eat good food, buy ice cream and swim during the summer. The area invites you to beautiful hiking trails and boat trips from the areas Naven and Spiken. Hörviken’s Marina is only 1 km away by car. The bathing dock is at the last pier at the Marina. Cliff bathing is a must at Naven. For families with children, there is a sandy beach at Läckö castle, Läckö beach and Svalnäs. You can also rent bicycles at the Marina and kayaks can be rented at Naven. Fine hiking trails, pilgrimage trails, can be found at Läckö, Läckö beach and Otterstad, which invite you to explore the area. For those interested in golf, it is only 4 km to Läckö golf. A warm welcome for a nice holiday with lots of sun and swimming.
