Welcome to your temporary home in the officially recognized climatic health resort of Xanten! Look forward to a lovingly furnished non-smoking holiday home, where you can enjoy your vacation undisturbed and in complete privacy. The bright, light-flooded house offers plenty of space to feel comfortable, with two cozy bedrooms, a modern bathroom with shower, and a spacious living and dining area. The fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and coffee machine ensures a successful start to the day. On the two terraces and in the sunny garden you can have breakfast, barbecue, or enjoy the peace and quiet after an eventful day.
The quiet yet central location combines relaxation with short distances to the city's most beautiful sights. Within a few minutes’ walk you can reach the historic old town with its cafés and restaurants, the impressive Xanten Cathedral, as well as the Archaeological Park Xanten. There, young and old alike can experience the fascinating world of the Romans with the amphitheater, harbor temple, and LVR-Roman Museum. During the holidays, exciting hands-on and holiday programs provide unforgettable experiences.
Xanten is a paradise for families, cyclists, water sports enthusiasts, and nature lovers. You can reach the Xanten Leisure Center at the South Lake in just a few minutes – also easily by bicycle. Look forward to sandy beaches, stand-up paddling, surfing and sailing courses, water skiing, boat rental, and many other leisure activities. Families are also excited by excursion destinations such as Kernie’s Wonderland in Kalkar and the popular Irrland. Around the Xanten North and South Lakes, you will find excellently developed cycling and hiking trails through the beautiful Lower Rhine landscape. Nature lovers will be thrilled by the Bislicher Island with its unique floodplain landscape and impressive birdlife.

Beautiful holiday home
We spent two very nice weeks in the holiday home. The holiday home is well-equipped and lovingly furnished and decorated. We went on many bike tours and visited Xanten and some other cities and castles.

Super cozy and beautifully furnished holiday home
The holiday home is very cozy and the garden is very beautiful. We only missed a coffee table or a small side table to set down glasses or cups while watching TV. Otherwise, everything was available. Very good Wi-Fi connection. The holiday home has a good location. The Xantener South and North Seas are quickly reachable. Our bikes found space in the locked garage. There are many cycling paths there. Just great. In the beds, one could sleep very well although we have back issues. The holiday home is simply recommended. The week went by too quickly. Anyone who wants to relax is in the best hands here. Many tips from the landlord were received that were worth it.

Summer vacation in Wardt/Xanten
We, as a family of four, felt absolutely comfortable in the holiday home. For us, it was a perfect fit. Cycling, sailing across the Rhine on the ferry, swimming, exploring small towns, learning in the Roman Park, enjoying nature, relaxing in the garden. In Oberhausen, visiting the Centro. Or even going to the neighboring country. The area is really beautiful, and especially with children, you can do a lot of great things. Since it's very flat, large bike tours were also no problem. Rees and Wesel, Kalkar and Xanten are really very easy to reach. For bird lovers, this is a top area, with endless photo opportunities. We were more than pleased with the surroundings and everything in the house was top-notch. We gladly award the deserved full points. Best regards from Kassel.
