The historic villa, built around 1920, was converted by Dr. Corfù in 1950 into a family home with an animal practice and later extended to a small animal boarding house. The "Torretta" used to serve as accommodation for the employees. Later it became a part of the small animal boarding house. The entire property, which has remained in the family ownership until today, was lovingly restored and renovated in 2019/2020, preserving traces of history. only a few steps away from the train station "Ponte Brolla" of the
Centovalli Railway, which runs from Locarno to Domodossola Italy via an adventurous
railway line. In the immediate vicinity you will also find several very good
Restaurants, in case you don't feel like cooking. Ideal starting point
to explore the Ticino valleys. To reach for variety and refreshment in the river
It's close to the sandy beach of the underlying river Maggia. For shopping you will find
a Coop branch in Verscio, about 1.5 km away. Reach further shopping facilities
you can reach Losone, Ascona or Locarno in about 10 minutes by car.
