Let your mind wander and look forward to carefree days at Landhaus Bernhard in Holzgau in the Lechtal Nature Park region.

Warm colours, local wood and plenty of light characterise our flats, which are equipped with every comfort. You can enjoy an unobstructed view of the stunning mountain panorama of the Lechtal and Allgäu Alps from your flat.

Facilities in the HOLIDAY APARTMENTS for 2 to 4 people:

Living room with cosy dining area and pull-out couch, fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, electric cooker, kettle, toaster, egg boiler, filter coffee machine/nespresso machine, fridge with *** freezer compartment, microwave), walk-in rain shower/WC, bedroom, south-facing balcony.

The flat is equipped with SAT-TV, free W-Lan and safe.
In the bathroom you will find cosmetic towels, cosmetic products, hand and shower towels, towel warmer and hair dryer for your comfort.

Our house is located directly on the cross-country ski trail and cycle path and not far from the bakery, cafés, sports shops, ski hire, supermarket, restaurants, toboggan run, ski lift and fun park. The ski and hiking bus stop is 100 metres from the house.

Ideal starting point for activities of all kinds - whether hiking across flowering meadows or biking in one of the dreamy side valleys... also in winter - you can reach the Warth-Schröcken/Lech ski area in 15 minutes.

With the Lechtal-Aktivcard you can use numerous leisure facilities, hiking buses and mountain railways in the Lechtal holiday region free of charge or at a reduced price.

Hiking bus: free of charge in the entire nature park region between Lech and Reutte and in the side valleys, on the Hahntennjoch and to Imst.

Cycling and biking in the Lechtal

The Lech Cycle Path leads along the Lech on an easy and varied, mostly asphalted route. You can explore the unique wild river landscape of the Lech without too much effort on the cycle path, which is over 60 kilometres long. A bus with bike transport runs several times a day so that you can return to your starting point at any time.

If you are in good shape and have the right bike, it is also worth cycling through the many Lechtal mountain pastures and side valleys.

Lechweg - from the source to the fall

The 125 km long Lechweg offers a unique nature experience, easy long-distance hiking through the Alpine region, which is also one of the last wild river landscapes in Europe.

Accompany the Lech from its source near Lake Formarin in Vorarlberg to the Lech Falls in Füssen in the Allgäu.

Cross-country skiing, skating

Naturpark Lechtal means endless cross-country skiing fun.

170 km of classic and 90 km of perfectly groomed skating trails stretch from Steeg to Forchach along the Lech river through meadows and forests. The trails in the side valleys are particularly attractive. The trails and the cross-country ski bus can be used free of charge. Most of the trails in the Lech Valley are also ideal for ski hikers.

Skiing, snowboarding

The Warth-Salober/Lech-Zürs ski area is only a few kilometres away and offers skiing and snowboarding pleasure at the highest level.

More than 47 lifts and cable cars and 190 kilometres of downhill skiing will be available to you from the coming winter.

Escape from everyday life and experience a relaxing holiday at any time of year, alone or as a couple.

How to get to Landhaus Bernhard

Travelling by car

Holzgau 112b, 6654 Holzgau, Austria

Coming from Germany via the A7 through the Füssen border tunnel, continue towards Reutte, take the Reutte Süd exit, then turn right towards the centre until you reach the main roundabout (2nd roundabout), then turn left towards Lechtal. From here it is approx. 45 minutes to Holzgau.
You do not need a vignette for your journey via Füssen!
