Description
Do you want to spend an unforgettable family vacation in a luxury villa for 6 people by the water? Then you are at the right place!
In the beautiful, historic fishing village of Lemmer in Friesland, you will find this unique Villa at the end of a peninsula. It has access to open water on two sides with numerous possibilities for water sports such as swimming and boating or just relaxing on one of the four terraces or in the five-person jacuzzi and let the world drift by. The villa is very spacious with a large living room and semi-open country house kitchen, a study with a bar, a large bedroom with en-suite bathroom on the ground floor, two large bedrooms and a large bathroom with bathtub and separate shower cabin on the first floor.
Outside, you will find various terraces with lounge sets around the house. The south terrace along with the garden house with covered 5-person jacuzzi, the west terrace with glass windscreen by the water, and dining table set for sunset dinners. Additionally, there are 2 large terraces on the wooden decks along the water, including a fixed picnic set and sunbeds.
The location of the villa is unique at the end of a peninsula in a residential area that is completely focused on the water. Both the cozy center of historic Lemmer and the Lemmer beach on the IJsselmeer are within walking distance. There is 40 meters of shoreline available for possibly mooring a private or rented boat. The water is directly connected to the Frisian Lakes and through the lock to the IJsselmeer.
What is included?
That's easy: basically everything! The entire villa is at your disposal... except for the Garage where our personal belongings are stored and a small attic on the first floor for the same reason. The rest is yours! Facilities
Kitchen
The classic kitchen is fully equipped including a separate large freezer and large refrigerator, double Boretti oven, stove and grill plate, filter and Nespresso coffee machines, dishwasher, and all the kitchenware you need such as pans, dishes, cutlery... you name it. In addition to all the hardware, you can use all the consumables that are available such as salt, pepper, oils, coffee, cleaning products, and dishwasher tablets. Consumables are on an "as-is" basis and refills are not included.
Bedding and Towels
All beds are fully prepared with clean bedding. Each person will find 2 towels and 1 large bath towel.
Internet, TV & Audio
High speed WiFi is available throughout the house.
There are 2 TVs. A 65" UHD smart TV in the living room and a 42" smart TV in bedroom 1.
Denon WiFi HiFi surround system. You can access it by connecting via Bluetooth or directly on WiFi through Spotify, for example.
Miscellaneous
Hairdryer, Iron, Small library with exchange books, children's books and toys, High chair, First aid kit, Smoke detectors, Garden furniture, Parking for 3 cars on the driveway and free parking on the public street in front of the house.
Extras
In addition to everything mentioned, we offer some extras to make your holiday even more memorable. These extras are provided on an “as-is” basis, which means that we will not replace or repair them. We leave it up to you to repair/replace any extras that you break. Among other things, you will find 4 bicycles.

Location and surroundings of object
The location of the villa is unique at the end of a peninsula in a residential area that is completely oriented towards the water. Both the cozy center of historic Lemmer and the beach of Lemmer on the Ijsselmeer are within walking distance. There are 40 meters of shoreline available for possibly docking a private or rented boat. The water has an open connection to the Friesian Lakes and via the lock to the Ijsselmeer.
Lemmer is easily accessible. Car: Lemmer is located right by the exit of highway A6 with the same name.
Train: Heerenveen station is about a 20 minute drive.
Plane: International airport Schiphol is one hour away by car.

If the renter can find a mutually acceptable third party to rent for the agreed period, the cancellation fees are reduced by the rental income from the new tenant.

Great house in a dream location!
We are thrilled. The house is wonderfully located and we really liked it. The amenities are wonderful, there is actually nothing missing. It is lovely to drink the first coffee in the morning on the dock by the water while watching the boats pass by. The hot tub is great too. However, there were many leaves on the back terrace and it was not swept. Overall, we really enjoyed it and would love to come back again.
