You can also employ a barbecue during the evenings and relish some delicious grilled food.
The village of Altenfeld is surrounded by forests and has an extensive network of cross-country trails. In the area you can also play tennis or golf, go horseback riding or swimming. A nice outdoor pool is less than 1 km away. For your daily shopping, go to Groß Breitenbach, as there is only one butcher and one restaurant with a GDR atmosphere in Altenfeld.
