The OG/DG as a self-contained unit with own outside access with 154 sqm offers you 5 bedrooms á 2 pers., 3 bathrooms with shower and WC (once additional bathtub), a 4th separate WC, a kitchen with dining table for 4 pers. and the living room with dining table for 10 pers. + couch set, which is in line of sight to the kitchen.
you can book 2 additional extra beds and an additional cot (see price information)
In the price quotation we have calculated the entire upstairs/downstairs with 154 sqm as a self-contained unit for 10 people. If the living area is smaller, the price will be reduced (see price details or on request).
Depending on the number of guests, you can book your desired size in the first floor/attic.

Your house is the former "Logierhaus Max Kühn" and formerly a factory owner's villa with an ideal hillside location

The timber-framed house was completely modernised in 2007 and offers spacious floor plans. That is why it is called "Gä" and it offers in the upper floor/ground floor alone 3 bathrooms with marble floors, a bathroom with additional bathtub, 4 WCs, kitchen with 4 ceramic hobs,
Dining area for 10 pers. is in the living room and in the kitchen for another 4 pers. .

The floor plan shows the first floor. More floor plans for the floors under , as well as photos of each room. Vesser is a recognised resort with approx. 215 inhabitants and is quietly situated in the Vessertal, in the middle of the UNESCO biosphere reserve.
You can reach Vesser only via Schmiedefeld am Rennsteig (3 km away) and from your holiday flat you have immediate access to the hiking trails and groomed cross-country ski runs through the Vessertal.
In Vesser there are restaurants with Thuringian cuisine (fresh trout, dumplings), bicycle and ski rental, a cross-country skiing garden, the toboggan slope, the children's ski lift, the nearby downhill ski slope, which is open at night, and the forest swimming pool, which is open in summer and filled with spring water.
You can hike on well-maintained and romantic hiking trails along the Vesser river, to the Vesser spring, to the Adlersberg lookout tower, to the show mine and enjoy the natural meadows, biotopes and nature trail descriptions on the fauna, flora and geology of the Vesser valley.

We ensured that this half-timbered house was preserved in its typical style with visible wind bracing, a glazed façade and its spacious room layout, and did our utmost to achieve the best for the house in terms of building physics and energy for another hundred years.
