The apartment is super nice, perfectly sized for us, and really well equipped. We lacked nothing. It's also great to have the option to store bicycles and the laundry facilities with a washing machine and dryer. We had very nice days in Borkum and I think we will come back. Thank you very much!

Modern and tastefully furnished holiday apartment, which we have booked for the second time. For a quiet getaway in close proximity to the sea, the apartment is perfect and leaves nothing to be desired. The sauna is our highlight. We will definitely come back again.

The apartment was very clean and tidy. The contact with the agent was friendly and timely. A broom and a functioning dustpan would be nice, as the vacuum cleaner has relatively weak suction power. The mattresses are somewhat worn. Unfortunately, the balcony is quite narrow for two people. The fly screens in front of almost all windows and doors are great.

Hello, we really enjoyed our stay in apartment 4 at the Südstrandhaus, 2 adults and 1 dog. There was very good communication with the rental company before arrival and after departure. The walking minutes to the individual places/sights are a bit exaggerated, but the surroundings were as described. The apartment was, even if some things may be a bit dated, very well equipped and furnished and clean - there is always potential for improvement and everything is a matter of taste and attitude. A highlight to end the day is certainly the sauna, although a description for the uninitiated would certainly be helpful here. The apartment is not really well suited for vacationers with dogs, who have larger hips or... Having back problems, as the smooth and large steps can cause certain coordination difficulties. Without a dog, we would rent this apartment again; with a dog, apartment 1 would be more suitable. Unfortunately, renting for 2027 is not yet possible.

We felt very comfortable in apartment No. 4 of the South Beach House. The apartment is very well equipped. The highlight is the sauna in the attic. The handling of the rental was very good. Nice contact, would love to do it again!

Hello and good day, Three years ago we were already in the holiday apartment. Location, organization, and handling were top again. Unfortunately, the furnishings of the apartment have suffered in the meantime. Above the sofa, the shelf was missing - not a big deal - but the open holes are unsightly. A garden chair is broken, a sofa cushion could not be closed, the clothes rack in one of the bedrooms is broken, and the mattresses have been used a lot over the years and have a large dip. In the kitchen, there is a sticker on the wall - it no longer sticks and is coming off more and more. I would not have expected this in an apartment in this price range. There was a sheet with contact details in the apartment - we reported the deficiencies at the beginning as we did not cause them. Unfortunately, there was no reaction to that. A great apartment in such a great location is not easy to find, and we would love to come back. We hope that these issues are resolved and the apartment (Greune Stee Weg) is maintained further. Otherwise, it would be a shame for the apartment!

It was a lovely time in Apartment 4! One suggestion from our side is a better vacuum cleaner. The one available has no (!) suction power. So we had to sweep, which is the worse option with a dog.

We felt very comfortable again in the beautiful apartment, and our dog did too! The apartment has everything you need. The high-quality furnishings, the well-maintained condition, and the tranquility in winter, along with the fresh sea air "straight from the source," contributed to our good recovery. As winter guests, we especially appreciate the sauna visit after our daily walks on the eastern beach. This year, on a rainy day, we also explored the beautiful walking paths in the forest and through the dunes; we encountered some deer and were able to observe magnificent pheasants. If there is anything to criticize, it is the inadequate culinary offerings in the island's restaurants. A "Gosch" would certainly do well here even in winter, right!? - But maybe we simply haven't found the right one yet! We would like to reserve a week again for next year in February!
