Description
The holiday home is quietly located on the edge of the Porta Isola villa park and has a very beautiful garden that offers a lot of privacy. The garden is fenced.
The house was newly renovated in 2020, the floors (parquet, laminate, tiles) were renewed, the shower room on the upper floor as well as the guest toilet on the ground floor were completely renovated. Between 2022 and 2024, a large part of the interior was renovated, an air conditioning unit was installed, and the awning was renewed; in 2025, the kitchen, terrace door, and garden fences were renewed; in 2024, the roof was newly coated and a solar system was installed.
The house offers 2 parking spaces and has a living area of 85 sqm and is suitable for up to 4 people. The house is non-smoking. Wi-Fi is available in the house free of charge. On the ground floor there is a small hallway with a wardrobe, the comfortably furnished living room with a sofa area, smart TV, internet radio, DVD/Blu-ray player, a dining area and the open kitchen with gas stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator with ***** freezer compartment as well as other electrical appliances (kettle, egg cooker, blender, coffee machine (filter, pad)). In the utility room you will find a washing machine, dryer, air fryer and electric grill, iron and ironing board, as well as various garden accessories. There you can store your bicycles if needed. On the lower floor there is also a separate toilet.
A typical Dutch staircase (a bit steeper than you may be used to in Germany) leads you to the upper floor, where there are two bedrooms for 2 people each. In both rooms you will find plenty of storage space in the wardrobes. In the larger bedroom there is an air conditioner, in case there are hot summer days. In the larger bedroom you will also find a cozy relaxation corner. In each of the bedrooms, one of the windows is fitted with an insect screen. The bathroom has a glass-enclosed shower, a washbasin with generous storage space, and a mirrored cabinet.
You can access the beautiful private garden with spacious terrace from the living room. Here you will find two sun loungers as well as a table and chairs for 4 people. The large electric awning provides shade.
The park itself invites you to stroll; within a few meters you reach the Maas Lake De Kis, where you can walk along the constructed footpath or relax on one of the benches. Of course, there is also a small beach and a sunbathing lawn.
Are you traveling with children? Then visit the various playgrounds in the park or let your children dig in the sand on the beach of the Maas lake or build sandcastles. You will also find a table tennis table directly opposite the house.
From the holiday home you can walk through the park to the marina. It is wonderful to watch the beautiful boats from the quay. Right behind the entrance to the park there is a restaurant, where in the summer months you can relax on the beautifully situated terrace, enjoy coffee and cake, a small snack, or a delicious dinner. In less pleasant weather, the restaurant’s conservatory invites you to linger.

The Tamore holiday home is located in the heart of Limburg, directly on the Maasplassen on the outskirts of Stevenswert and in the immediate vicinity of the marina in the Porta Isola villa park.
The Maasplassen are one of Limburg's many pearls. The Maas Lakes are an extensive, interconnected network of large and small lakes created by gravel extraction. Covering an area of over 3000 hectares, it is the largest contiguous water sports area in the Netherlands.
Stevensweert and Ohé en Laak together form the island in the Meuse. The Meuse is also the border to Belgium here. Stevensweert is one of the most beautiful villages in Limburg. Originally, Stevensweert was a fortified town, which is also reflected in the streetscape. The main attraction is the town centre itself.
In Stevensweert you can visit the Hompesche Molen, the highest mill in Limburg, built in 1722. The Molenplas nature park is in the immediate vicinity. This invites you to go hiking or bird watching. Galloway cattle and Konik horses live in the park. There is a stone bridge and a bird watching tower. Maybe you feel like visiting the sensational ice cream parlour in Ohe en Laak "IJssalon Laaker Boere ies". You will not be disappointed.
From Stevensweert you can go on beautiful walking and cycling tours. Thorn - the white city on the Maas - is worth a visit. Here you should definitely visit the Pannekoekenhaus
The national park "De Meinweg" is also not far away and invites you to go on hiking or cycling tours.
If you want to go shopping, you can do so in Echt (Jumbo, Aldi), about 5 km away, or in Maasbracht (Lidl, Plus). A small shop where you can also get fresh bread rolls from Monday to Saturday is located in the centre of Stevensweert. Maaseik in Belgium is also not far away (11 km). Maasmechelen is about 35 km away and you can visit the outlet there. This is also possible on the Dutch side in the designer outlet Roermond (about 20 km away). Don't forget the old town of Roermond, with its restaurants and bars and nice shops.
Valkenburg or Maastricht (approx. 40 km away) are also worth a detour
People come to Valkenburg to discover the mines and caves with drawings dating back to Roman times; another attraction is the ruins of Valkenburg Castle and the many restaurants and small shops
Maastricht, with Belgium to the west and the German border only a few kilometres away to the east, is the capital of Limburg. Maastricht is undoubtedly one of the most popular shopping destinations in the Netherlands. The "French flair" and the city's location on the river Maas are particularly beautiful. Some shops are even located directly on the riverbank. The "Vrijthof" square is a particularly good starting point for a shopping trip, from where you can explore the "Grote Staat" pedestrian zone with its countless large and small (side) streets. Almost all shops and business areas are open 7 days a week. The area around the Stokstraat is absolutely worth mentioning: chic boutiques and small eateries have settled in the narrow alleys and restored houses from the 17th and 18th centuries. The most famous market in Maastricht takes place on the square of the same name, the Markt. Surrounded by the imposing town hall and stately mansions, traders sell their wares every Wednesday (200 stalls) and Friday (300 stalls).
Of course, you can also rent boats or bicycles, including e-bikes, on site.
Whether by car, on foot, by bike or even by water, there is always something to do. Let yourself be enchanted by the beautiful landscape at the Meuse lakes and the beautiful towns of the Limburg region.

Beautiful holiday home
Beautiful holiday home. Nicely furnished. Kerstin and Heribert are the friendly landlords you have contact with. You receive detailed information about the house and what there is to do in the area.
The cottage is located in a very quiet park near the water. There are two spacious bedrooms and a spacious living room. It is fully equipped, and you can sit comfortably in the beautiful garden. You can also easily drive everywhere. Roermond, Maastricht, and Valkenburg are close by.

A beautiful vacation week

Great vacation home
We spent a week for the 2nd time in Haus Tamore.
It is a fantastic house, equipped with all comforts and very clean.
The house is located in a quiet park, on the edge, with a garden that offers a lot of privacy.
The surroundings are very beautiful, great for cycling and walking. Stevensweert and Maasbracht are nice towns to visit. There is plenty to do in the area, both in good and bad weather.

We took over the house in June 2022 and use it ourselves as often as we can. Accordingly, we have made the house cosy according to our taste with loving details and not as usual "only functional" for guest rental. So you should find everything you need in everyday life. The kitchen equipment is very generous, you will find all common electrical appliances and cooking utensils We feel very comfortable in our holiday home and hope and wish that you will feel the same. Het huisje staat op een heel rustig park vlak bij het water Er zijn twee ruime slaapkamers en een ruime woonkamer. Het is van alle gemakken voorzien en je kunt heerlijk zitten in de mooie tuin. Ook rij je overal makkelijk naar toe. Roermond, Maastricht en Valkenburg liggen dan ook dicht bij.
Het is een fantastische woning, van alle gemakken voorzien en zeer schoon.
Het huis ligt op een rustig park, aan de rand, met een tuin met heel veel privacy.
De omgeving is erg mooi, heerlijk om te fietsen en wandelen. Stevensweert en Maasbracht zijn leuke stadjes om te bezoeken. In de buurt is genoeg om je te vermaken, met mooi en met slecht weer.
Unser Sohn hat den Lesesessel im Schlafzimmer mit Begeisterung in Beschlag genommen. Auch die Klimaanlage im Obergeschoss hat sehr gute Dienste geleistet. Der Garten ist wunderschön und man kann dort die Ruhe genießen. Perfekte Lage für Rad- und Wandertouren. Die Gastgeber haben stets schnell und sehr freundlich kommuniziert.
Wir kommen wieder, wenn wir nochmal in dieser Region Urlaub machen.
Das Haus ist liebevoll und sehr gut eingerichtet und ausgestattet, der Garten liebevoll angelegt.
Wir haben uns rundum Wohl gefühlt (auch unsere kleine Enkeltochter)!
Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern ist ebenfalls sehr positiv-sie sind bei Fragen oder Problemen jederzeit erreichbar.

Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, alles war sauber und gepflegt.
Die Organisation der Gastgeber war perfekt.
Der See sieht schön aus aber dort schwimmen wollten wir nicht. Der Zugang von der Badestelle in den See war uns zu schlammig. Zum Fahrradfahren ist die Gegend gut geeignet.
Wenn es in Stevensweert mal zu langweilig wird, mit dem Auto nach Venlo (ca 45 Km) oder Roermond (ca 22 Km).
Es muss nicht immer das Meer sein ,Wasser ist nun wirklich genügend vorhanden dank der Maasplaaten drumherum und jeder Blickwinkel bei Radtouren ist einfach nur schön und lässt einen super entspannen .
Ob Roermond ,Venlo oder Maastricht alles mit Rad oder Auto super zu erreichen .
Jede Menge Spiele im Haus und es fehlte an nichts.

Es war sauber und ordentlich.
Von der Buchung bis zur Abreise hat alles wunderbar funktioniert.

Als Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren sehr gut geeignet.

Der Ort ist fußläufig erreichbar, klein und beschaulich mit einem Kulturangebot und einem Minigolfplatz. Die Lage ist perfekt für Radtouren in die nähere und entferntere Umgebung, denn es ist kein Problem eine Strecke mit dem Zug zu fahren.
Wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge über dem kleinen See und Yachthafen krönten unsere Abende.
Vielen Dank an die Vermieter, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Die Vermieter haben an alles gedacht was einem den Urlaub versüßt, vom Clip für dir Brottüte bis hin zur Heissluftfitteuse alles vorhanden. Toilettenpapier, Küchenrolle, Spülutensilien, Handtücher für Küche usw..
Alles picobello sauber von A wie Armaturen im Bad bis Z wie Zimmerecke.
Stillvoll mit viel Liebe eingereicht.
Für Unterhalten bei einem mal regnerischen Tag ist umfangreich gesorgt.
Das Ferienhaus ist nur zu empfehlen.
Wir haben ein paar wundervolle Tage dort verbracht mit viele Touren auf dem Rad.

Wenn ich sonst Bewertungen lese, frage ich mich immer, warum geht man nicht ins Detail. Damit ich nichts unnötig mitschleppe, was schon da ist.
Hier mal nur das wichtigste:
4 xToilettenpapier (2oben,2unten), 1xZewa (auch im Wirtschaftsraum), Seifen, Duschvorlage, 1 kl.Handtuch im unteren WC, Kerzen, Salz,Pfeffer,Gewürze, Zucker, Kaffeepads (reichen für das 1.Frühstück) alle Küchenutensilien incl. Flaschenöffner + Radio mit Fernbedienung sind vorhanden.
Das Haus mit dem schönen Garten hat zwar keinen Seeblick, nur re.+li.ein Nachbarhaus, aber mit einem freien Feld in der Frontsicht. Alle Auflagen, für Gartenstühle+Liegen findet man im Wirtschaftsraum. Die Markise darf nicht als Regenschutz genutzt werden. Das Doppelbett im gr.Schlafzimmer ist super bequem und hat Allergiker Oberbetten+Kissen.
Nun zu den Nachteilen: die steile halbrunde Treppe nach oben, ist mit Gepäck nicht einfach, aber zu zweit machbar ohne Macken in der Wand zu hinterlassen ?
Das kl.Feriendorf Porto Isola ist in die Jahre gekommen, aber gepflegt und ruhig-nix los? Die Schranke ist immer geschlossen und wird mit der Schlüsselkarte(liegt im Haus) geöffnet. Bei Ankunft + Abreise soll die Vermieterin angerufen werden, sie öffnet dann per App. Im Haus liegt die Mappe mit Hausordnung + Ausflugstipps.
Die Infrastruktur in Stevensweert bezieht sich auf 1 Mini Bäcker(nur Di-Sa geöffnet) 1 Griechen(beste Pommes am Ort) 1 „Koaster“ am Markt, 1 teures Yachthaven-Restaurant „Int Brookx“ um die Ecke(wenig auf demTeller).
Zum Lebensmittel Einkauf, muss man nach Echt oder Maasbracht fahren ca.5km mit viel Kreisverkehr. Meine Empfehlung: Aufback Brötchen+Lebensmittel mitbringen. Haben wir leider nicht gemacht und haben Maasbracht favorisiert (Plus+Lidl mit Backwaren).
Wir hatten hier einen schönen Urlaub mit vielen Radtouren, herzlichen Dank liebe Familie Boost/Küpper.

Es fehlt an nichts und alles ist gut durchdacht. Der gemütliche Garten sorgt für gute Erholung. Das Haus hat eine ruhige Lage. Hier kann man sich wohlfühlen.
Wir hatten einen sehr netten Kontakt mit der Vermieterin. Vorab wurden uns schon viele Ausflugstipps und Anregungen geschickt. Nach dem ersten Eintritt in das Ferienhaus haben wir sogar einen kleinen Willkommensgruß vorgefunden.
Daumen hoch und 5 Sterne ***** für den tollen Aufenthalt.
Het vakantiehuis is van alle gemakken voorzien en er ontbreekt niets.
Ook de bedden liggen uitstekend en de badkamer is goed verlicht.
Let op: de douchebak is erg glad, dus je moet voorzichtig zijn.
Der Wettergott hat es auch mit uns sehr gut gemeint, dadurch konnten wir jeden Morgen auf der nett zurecht gemachten Terasse frühstücken. Danach sind wir immer mit bester Laune und vollkommen ausgeruht in den neuen Urlaubstag gestartet. Leider mussten wir dann nach 10 Tagen wieder,jedoch super erholt und entspannt , die Heimreise antreten.
Das Haus ist sehr zu empfehlen !!!!!!!!!

Wir können das Haus Tamore nur empfehlen.
Ein süßer kleiner Garten, ein liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus, wo alles vorhanden ist was man braucht. Super sauber und sehr stylevoll eingerichtet.
Wenige Gehminuten zum See, wenige Autominuten zu verschiedensten Örtchen.
Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder.

alles war perfekt, wie ein zweites zu Hause. Sogar unsere E-Bikes konnten wir gut und sicher unterstellen.
Wir haben den Aufenthalt genutzt, um mit den Fahrrädern die Gegend zu erkunden. Das Radwegenetz
ist vielfältig und führt durch grüne, blühende Landschaft, nette Orte und oft mit Ausblick auf die Maas oder die Seen. Selbst durch die Städte (Roermond, Maastricht) fühlt man sich auf den gut ausgebauten Radwegen sicher.
Es hat uns alles ausgesprochen gut gefallen und wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen.

Die Besitzer haben sich viel Mühe gegeben auch Informationen zur Freizeitgestaltung zu hinterlegen.
In der Umgebung gibt es viel zu entdecken. Sie lädt ein zu Spaziergängen, Besichtigungen und Radtouren.
Alles in allem ein toller Aufenthalt, wir kommen bestimmt wieder!
Das Haus ist stilvoll eingerichtet und verfügt über alles Nötige was es, für einen erholsamen Urlaub, braucht.
Es ist alles sehr sauber und die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich verschiedene Lokalitäten und ein traumhaft schöner Yachthafen.
Empfehlenswert ist ein Ausflug nach Thorn (Grenzstadt zu Belgien) und Wanderungen im Nationalpark "De Meinweg". Nach einem ereignisreichen Tag in der Natur mit vielen Eindrücken, kehrt man zurück ins Haus mit Privatsphäre und Gemütlichkeit.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden ganz sicher wieder dieses Ferienhaus buchen.

Das Haus liegt sehr schön in einer Anlage, in der Umgebung kann man viel unternehmen und immer wieder neues entdecken.
