The very spacious high-end kitchen with cooking island is equipped with high-quality MIELE appliances. Oven, steamer, warming drawer, induction hob with integrated extractor make it possible to conjure up a real feast for the palate. In addition, there is a dishwasher (including tabs), microwave, refrigerator, freezer and a complete exclusive set of utensils, crockery, glasses and cutlery. Only two hours from Munich and one hour from Salzburg, Das Königlich in Mühlbach am Hochkönig is easy to reach. Mühlbach is only 15 minutes away from the Bischofshofen motorway exit or the Bischofshofen railway station and is therefore excellent to reach.
The luxury chalet is located directly below the summit of the Hochkönig. The village, as well as its restaurants and shopping facilities, are also within easy walking distance.
Mühlbach is an insider tip for those looking for a treat away from the crowds. Surrounded by breathtaking nature, you don't have to do without anything here. There are many rustic restaurants with typical local specialities as well as a supermarket and a bakery in the immediate vicinity. The property itself is very quietly situated in a chalet quarter at the end of a dead-end street. The view from the terraces or rooms is unparalleled.
In summer as in winter, you will get your money's worth here and find a varied programme of activities - hiking, biking, archery, adventure playgrounds, forest slide park, flow trails, skiing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing.
Within a few minutes' walk you reach the valley station of the Karbachalm - the entrance to the Hochkönig ski area, which belongs to the popular "Ski Amadé" association, one of the largest ski areas in Europe. The popular King's Tour connects the three villages of Maria Alm, Dienten and Mühlbach to form a unique ski circuit. The two ski areas Hochkeil and Hochkönig, which are very easy to reach either on foot or by car, offer the perfect conditions for beginners and professionals alike. The area is known for its guaranteed snow at the foot of the 3000-metre-high Hochkönig. The season starts in early December and lasts until April.
In summer, families meet at the Karbachalm at "Toni's Almspielplatz". Another popular attraction there is the mountain cart!
With the Hochkönigcard, which we give you free of charge during your stay, you have unlimited use of the six mountain railways in the region in summer, as well as leisure facilities such as the open-air swimming pool in Mühlbach or the hiking bus, with which you can comfortably reach countless hiking routes in the region
In addition, Mühlbach is the ideal starting point for mountain bikers, golfers, hikers, paragliders, horseback riders and nature lovers. The glacier skiing area Kaprun, which is not far away, also attracts winter sports fans in summer.

Couldn't have been better
We spent a weekend with friends. Quality time, hiking and wellness. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and with the large dining table, you can enjoy your time here. The furnishings are super modern, new, and high quality, and the sauna and spa area are beautifully designed with a great view. We would come back any time.
