Description
Do you value a holiday with lots of peace and quiet in the middle of southern Sweden's nature on one of Sweden's largest lakes? Then why not spend your time in our holiday home on Bolmen. Our house is located on the island of Bolmsö and is only a few metres from the lake. The original landscape of southern Sweden with its endless forests, lakes and the typical red houses begins directly in front of the front door. The lake with its sandy beach and harbour is only 300 metres away. The motorboat for your fishing trips or lake explorations is also moored there. Our house offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Enjoy a trip on the lake, go for a bike ride through Sweden's forests, relax in the sauna or just enjoy the Scandinavian summer on the terrace with a dinner from the grill. For a cosy evening inside the house, we recommend a glass of wine in front of the open fireplace.
Our house has a spacious living-dining area with open fireplace, 3 bedrooms (one double bed, two single beds and one single bed), a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with toilet and shower. There is also a sauna integrated in the house. Furthermore, there is a terrace, newly built in 2022, with seating and lounging furniture, a large parasol and a large Weber charcoal grill. Next to the house is a shed where you will find bicycles and games for the garden as well as chairs and umbrellas for the beach. You will also find the firewood there. 5 minutes walk from the house is the private harbour of the settlement. There you will find the motorboat for your fishing trips or sea explorations. This is included in the rental price. At the harbour there is also a lockable shed where you can store your water sports and/or fishing equipment. Life jackets are also provided. The accommodation is suitable for max. 4 adults or 2 adults with max. 3 children. Dogs are not allowed. This is a non-smoking house.

Location and surroundings of object
Our house is located on the island of Bolmsö in the Smaland region in the southern part of Sweden. It is situated in a small settlement with typical Swedish houses and is surrounded by a lot of forest. From the house it is only about 300m to the beautiful lake Bolmen. Bolmen is the largest lake in the western part of Smaland and is popular with anglers and water sports enthusiasts. Directly at the lake there is a private marina for boats as well as a bathing beach and a barbecue area. For shopping, the nearest small supermarket is about 5.5km away. The next largest town, Ljungby, is 27 km away. You can reach Sweden either by land via Flensburg, Denmark and then via Copenhagen to Malmö or with one of the numerous ferries, e.g. from Fehmarn or Rostock.

Beautiful Sweden vacation
We had a great time in this lovingly furnished beautiful holiday home. The proximity to the lake and the quiet location pleased us very much.
The house is well equipped and offers an above-average standard.
The landlords are very nice and always available if there are questions.
We would recommend that the house can also be booked without a final cleaning. This was quite stressful for us on the last day of vacation. All in all, a really great holiday home, with nice landlords in a beautiful location.

Enthusiastic!
We spent a week in the beautiful house in Sweden and were absolutely thrilled! The house is super cozy, modern, and tastefully furnished, and it has everything you need, from a sauna to a great garden with a large terrace. Alex and Tina are friendly and pleasant hosts who were always easy to reach. The communication was seamless, and there were great tips and tricks for the area. A special highlight was the boat we were allowed to use at the nearby lake just a few meters from the house.
Everything was perfect from start to finish.
We had a wonderful time there and can only highly recommend it.
We will come back! :)

Beautiful holiday home
We have already spent our vacation for the second time in this beautiful holiday home. It is very well maintained and lovingly furnished. The nearby lake invites you to swim, fish and go boating. Our children had a lot of fun jumping from the platform into the lake. We will gladly come back :-)

Very nice holiday home!
Great house, furnished with love!
Everything is available, the house has recently been completely renovated.
The kitchen is very well equipped, plenty of cutlery, plates, etc. There is even everything you need to bake (blueberry) cake.
Everything is ready for the grill, even the charcoal! (Of course, it needs to be refilled afterwards)
We found a super clean house! With the detailed checklist, you can expect it to be left in good condition by all guests.
We were a little shocked at the end about the electricity costs, but it makes sense with the sauna...
Nice neighbors, if you even meet any. Some houses are weekend houses for Swedes, some are holiday homes. It is very quiet!
The lake and the beach are beautiful! The water is very shallow, perfect even for smaller kids.
We had a very nice two weeks, even though the weather was mixed. In the house, there is enough space to spend rainy days there.
The landlords are very friendly and were able to give us some tips for excursions.

Very nice stay - the landlords are super friendly and helpful
Everything was very clean and nicely furnished. We liked the sauna and the perfectly equipped kitchen. The beds are super comfortable! The motor boat is great for fishing. We even caught our first zander. There is an area behind the house where you can clean the fish very well! The landlords were always available and were very helpful. A great holiday in a great house. We will be back.
