These beautiful, thatched villas at Recreatiepark Idskenhuizen in Friesland are all furnished in a comfortable and modern way. This accommodation features very spacious living space on the ground floor. The open kitchen with beautiful cooking island is equipped with all modern appliances. On the first floor, you will find three bedrooms and one bathroom with bathtub and separate shower. When the weather is nice, it is great to stay outside; the comfortable garden furniture and the barbecue create a relaxed setting. The garden borders directly on the water and is therefore equipped with a jetty.

The centre is 3 km away where you can shop while the forest is 2 km away, so perfect for starting a day with a walk. The tennis court is also 2 km away. If you like a game of golf head 1 km away. For watersports lovers, you can walk and reach the activity area. A day trip to the lakeside is also possible.

This villa is very child-friendly, thanks to the presence of a cot, high chair and stair gate. The garden is completely fenced, making it suitable for staying with pets.

We had a fantastic stay in the villa in Idskenhuizen! The spacious layout was perfect for our family of six, with plenty of room for everyone to relax. The kitchen was modern and well-equipped, which made meal preparation easier. We enjoyed our evenings outside on the terrace, with the barbecue and the beautiful view of the water. The children had a great time playing in the fenced garden, and we appreciated how child-friendly the place was. The location was also a highlight, with lovely walking trails nearby and the charming town center just a few minutes' drive away. All in all, a charming getaway that we highly recommend!
