I was a guest in the vacation apartment "Zirbe" in mid-August with my child and dog. The information before the vacation was very helpful; I received all the details about the vacation apartment and the surrounding area via email, which allowed for good planning in advance. Information provided over the phone was answered very kindly. We had a wonderful week in the mountains. The view from the balcony of the Waxenstein is indeed very impressive. The apartment is located very quietly, making it easy to relax. We felt very, very comfortable in the vacation apartment. Everything you need is available. The oven, which was described as not being there, was not a problem for us. There are options for dining locally to suit every taste. For dog owners, it's good to know that there's a great place to walk dogs just around the corner. The Zugspitzbad Grainau, which you must definitely visit, is located a 15-minute walk away and is very beautifully situated. It has both an outdoor pool and an indoor pool, and it's free with the guest card. It's great that the bus stop is just around the corner, so you can leave the car behind. With the Grainau guest card, we could travel on the bus for free; the dog cost an average of €2.40, but it wasn't charged for every route :-) Our daily destination was the Eibsee, which was easiest to reach by bus, as the parking fees on site are very high. You have to know that during the holidays, the Eibsee and the Zugspitze are very crowded, which was quite exhausting. Despite all of that, we enjoyed the week and would definitely come back; the Eibsee is worth a trip, and the highest mountain in Germany in the background is quite impressive. We will definitely come back and send 100 stars to the vacation rental agency "Mahr" :-)

The holiday apartment Zirbe impresses with: - A fantastic view of the Waxenstein from the sofa and balcony - A beautiful and cozy decor with pleasant decoration - The possibility to spend the vacation without a car, as the bus stop (to Garmisch Partenkirchen or to Eibsee/Zugspitze) is about. It is 3 minutes away from the house, and the walk to the local grocery stores and restaurants is also doable in 10-15 minutes along beautiful paths - the large covered balcony where you can sit quietly, eat, and relax - a small kitchen with 2 hot plates (no oven) where you can prepare simple meals well - the possibility to start hiking directly from the house, for example, to the Höllentalklamm... I would rent the apartment again anytime!

Couple's holiday Key handover and arrival went smoothly. Everything is available in the accommodation to be self-sufficient. Beds are comfortable. The view from the balcony is a dream. The bus stop and cogwheel railway are just a few minutes' walk away. You can confidently leave the car parked during your stay (sun-protected parking directly at the house). We would be happy to return.

The Zirbe apartment is very nicely furnished. The fantastic view from the balcony of the mountains is very beautiful. The bus stop is around the corner and you can quickly walk to the center of Grainau! We had a very nice and relaxing holiday!

It is a really sweet apartment and totally sufficient for two people. We had a great week, great sunshine, great experiences, nice people and every day the enjoyable break on our balcony.
Only a tiny drawback: the heating system in the bathroom is very uncomfortable when it is 16 degrees outside at 8:30 in the morning and when we arrived late in the afternoon. Only the infrared heat from above worked with the light on, but that is probably not environmentally friendly, especially considering the effects of the current Ukraine war. Nevertheless, we have to say that we also dealt with the issue on Saturday evening and Sunday (even if it was not successful), thank you very much. We would love to come back and we will recommend you to others.

We can unreservedly recommend the apartment "Zirbe". The location is fantastic. Quietly located in Grainau, the view of the Zugsoirte mountain massif is breathtaking. The flat is cosy and equipped with everything. Although the bowl transfer takes place in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, this is no problem if you have a car.

It was a very nice week in a cosy holiday flat. Great balcony, fantastic view, everything you need for your stay was there. We stayed at Landhaus Almzauber for the second time and will definitely come back again.
