Would you like an unforgettable holiday in a small village at the foot of the Zugspitze? Then the cosy holiday apartment "Bergwiese" in Grainau is the ideal place to stay. The breathtaking view of Germany's highest mountain and the countless leisure activities leave nothing to be desired.
The holiday apartment "Bergwiese" is located on the ground floor of the magnificent country house in Schwarzenkopfweg in Grainau. With its 55 m², 2-3 persons find place in the beautiful and very comfortably furnished apartment. Here you can feel completely comfortable.

Comfortably furnished holiday apartment with Bavarian corner seat
The apartment is very cosy and furnished with comfortable country house furniture, which provides a good atmosphere. In the living room there is a comfortable sofa with a table and a flat screen TV and DVD player. Here you can spend comfortable hours together with your family.
The kitchen is equipped with the necessary appliances, such as a coffee machine, microwave, toaster, dishwasher and electric kettle. The Bavarian wood corner bench looks great. However, there is no oven in the kitchen, but that should not be a problem, because there are many good restaurants in Grainau, which can be reached in a few minutes on foot or by the Eibsee bus.
There is also a bedroom with a double bed and an additional single room. A special treat is the mountain view from your bed. In the bathroom there is a shower, a washbasin and a toilet.

Fantastic view of the mountain panorama
The country house is on a small hill, so you have a clear view of the whole Zugspitze massif. The holiday apartment "Bergwiese" has a large south terrace with terrace furniture from where you can enjoy this breathtaking view. This is the perfect place to end a beautiful day.

Relax in the private wellness hut
A special highlight of this country house is the wellness hut in the garden. Here you will find an infrared Zirbentherme, which you can use after registration. Here you can relax perfectly after a great day in the mountains.

We (grandparents and granddaughter) had a very nice week. The apartment is nicely furnished, one feels very well "Bavarian" taken care of. The house is also a Bavarian gem from the outside. The location is very suitable as a starting point for hikes (and the bus stop is practically at the door). We were very satisfied and will come back.

Overall impression 3 Location 5 Price/performance 3 Service 3 There are no wine glasses in the apartment and no acceptable stove with oven. In the bathroom, the toilet is so low that you feel like you are sitting on a children's toilet. The toilet seat does not fit the toilet model.

POSITIVE: I have known the apartment for years through another rental and have grown "fond" of it. The cleanliness and the furnishings of the apartment, including the inventory, are still very good. The provided bed and bath linens are more than sufficient. The furnishings fully match the description. The beds are very comfortable to lie on. Waste separation is well organized. Areas for improvement: replace the vacuum cleaner, it smells more than unpleasant and the hose comes off quickly. Friendliness during the greeting on Sunday at 4 PM is clearly "improvable." Minor deficiencies in the apartment cleaning should be identified and addressed (light bulb was defective, bedroom and bathroom doors squeaked extremely). Issuance of the guest card was inadequate. I was sent back and forth between the rental office and the spa administration, even though I had provided all the required documents (disability ID) as requested in advance of the rental.
