Welcome to the house by the lake in Neu Damerow !
The house is ideal for people who love life, uncomplicated people, families with children, anglers and people looking for relaxation.
It is fully equipped, as it is also used by the owner. The bathroom is new and has underfloor heating. There is a flat screen TV with satellite reception and a DVD player
Great importance is attached to good beds (adjustable slatted frames, good mattresses, etc.)
The holiday home is located directly on Lake Poserin (42 ha) and the enclosed lake property (800 sqm) offers enough space. It has its own jetty, access to the shared bathing bay (neighbours only) and a boat.
It is a detached house with an unoccupied utility building of the neighbour (relatives) adjoining
The house has 3 rooms and a kitchen-living room and is very cosy. There is also a carport with a storage room for the bicycles that belong to the house.

Location and surroundings of object

Your holiday home is located on a waterfront plot at the entrance to a small village, next to a small wood. The lake is right in front of the door and shines in the sun already in the morning. The boat is ready on the shore for a trip or a fishing trip. In the house you will find everything you need. The cosy rooms and a kitchen-living room offer enough space and the enclosed water property with 800 sqm borders directly on the lake. Neu Damerow is a small cosy village near Plau am See. It is very quiet, about 0.6 km to the B 192 federal road. Here you will find peace and relaxation, but is also quickly in Plau am See or Waren / Müritz, where life pulsates. The lake (42 ha) in front of the door invites you to fish and swim and has very clear water and a good fish stock. Fishing permits can be booked via the portal hejfish.com and then Poseriner See directly for different periods 1 day, 3 days or a week. The price for the first week in the HS is 453,00 € (cleaning service worth 40,00 € is included). The prices refer to 2 adults and max. 2 children up to the age of 12
- for more occupancy up to max. 6 persons the extra charge is 5,00 € per day/person
- 1 boat and 5 bicycles are included free of charge, but are not part of the rental / valuation( see point 7 of the rental conditions)
- Bed linen and towels are always to be brought along completely.
- from May to October only bookable by the week.
- Carport, electricity, heating and water are included
- In the low season, a heating surcharge of € 6.00 is levied according to usage requirements (daily average outside temperature below 10 degrees Celsius)
Communication is exclusively by e-mail. The telephone is an emergency telephone with answering machine and is checked daily.
Rental conditions and end of rental
1. As a rule, rentals are made on a weekly basis.
Arrival day: Saturday or other day from 15:00 hrs
Departure day: Saturday or other day until 10:00 a.m

2. The number of persons has to be announced and more than 6 persons are not allowed.

3. The equipment is to be treated with care, possible self-caused damages are to be reported
and will be covered by the liability insurance of the causer.

4. Cleaning is to be carried out in a swept clean condition.
It does not release from a fee.

5. In the event of technical defects and complaints, please contact the landlord for the purpose of

6. No liability is accepted for force majeure, theft, bad weather, etc.

7. General:
Use of the boats, bicycles, electrical equipment etc. is at your own risk.
Please take care of your children.

8. The rental contract is binding whether in writing (e- mail) or by telephone.
Cancellation fees:
- Up to 90 days beforehand 25 % of the rental price
- Up to 40 days in advance 60 % of the rental price
- Up to the start of the rental period 80 % of the rental price
If the tenant arranges a substitute tenant, the tenant will of course not be charged.
9. Payment
25% after confirmation of booking within one week
75 % 14 days before arrival ( bring deposit slip) or cash on site.

Cancellation terms:

The lease agreement is binding, whether made in writing (e-mail) or by telephone. It is a 10-minute drive to Goldberg. There are all shopping facilities at the entrance to the village (Rewe, Lidl, ). Plau and Malchow are about 15 minutes away by car. You can eat very well and inexpensively at the country inn in Wendisch-Waren (towards Goldberg) on the B192, about 7 minutes by car. Culture and steamboat trips can be found in the Kolsterdorf Dobbertin and the best confectioner in the region, Cafe Kentzler. Follow the B192 westwards for about 17 minutes by car. You can eat fish very well in Alt-Schwerin at Fischer Wendorf 2, directly on Lake Plauer See. Follow the B192 east for 13 minutes by car. Behind the motorway exit Alt-Schwerin is the monkey forest and the summer toboggan run, a must for young and old children. Güstrow, 33 minutes via the B103, offers the Oase fun pool and the wildlife park. The Müritz Saga, a medieval spectacle with everything that goes with it, is not to be missed. Wednesday - Sunday is the performance.

Recommended accommodation

We are now staying in this accommodation for the umpteenth time. It is an ideal place to relax and especially a paradise for anglers. The facilities of the accommodation are completely sufficient. Unfortunately, the breakfast dishes are particularly a hodgepodge of cups and plates. However, this does not detract from the experience. For the cold season, there is a modernized heating system, and the furniture in the living room has also been renewed. The immediate neighbors are very nice and you can directly approach them with problems. Absolutely top. We will plan another week for next year as well. The Hanke family is recommended as landlords.

Very nice vacation

Rest and recreation

We spent a three-week holiday here in June/July this year. The house is recommended for nature lovers and anglers. It is directly on the lake and you have nice landlords and neighbours.
The house is well equipped, you have everything you need. A rowing boat is also available. The price/performance ratio is good. If you are looking for peace and quiet, love nature or like cycling, this is the place for you. But there is also a lot to discover in the immediate vicinity and in the entire Mecklenburg lake district. Schwerin is also not far away

Absolutely recommended!

Thank you for a wonderful week at Lake Poserin.
The house is excellently equipped, the view of the lake is a dream.
Shopping facilities are very easy to reach (approx. 8km to Goldberg). Lunch is available at the Landgasthof Schwinzer Heide (approx. 6km towards Goldberg)
E-Plus (O2) mobile phone network works perfectly!

Very friendly neighbours. Our granddaughter really enjoyed splashing in the lake at your bathing spot.
We enjoyed the peace and quiet and were able to live out our passion for fishing to the full.

A tip for anglers
A really healthy water with a great stock of white fish, pike, carp, perch, tench, etc.

Thanks also to Mr. Hanke for the nice conversation. We will be back and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Unfortunately, we have been to this property for the last time after 5 years of vacation.

Unfortunately, as of 2021, it is no longer possible to come with a dog due to a personal decision by the landlord. We also believe that the announced price increase is not justified. Reason: For 5 years, nothing has changed or improved in the house and the house (furniture worn out, kitchen equipment unchanged). For us, it is incomprehensible that the electricity price of 50 cents/KWH is charged in addition to the rent, as due to the location of the property (no restaurant in the immediate vicinity) we are forced to cook for ourselves. The landlord told us that the basic electricity price is distributed to vacationers throughout the year. Additionally, the landlord was not willing to connect his house to the internet in 2019, despite it being installed in the village in 2019. There is no internet connection and no mobile phone reception on site. Without the active neighbors, there would be no help in case of emergency, as the landlord is difficult to reach. It's a shame- we liked being in Neu Damerow, but those who want to get rich quick will fall hard!!!

Liebe ehemalige Mieter, keiner hat unser Haus so intensiv genutzt, wie Sie, mit Ihrem Wolfsspitz, Die Putzfau war immer begeistert.5 Jahre haben Sie es sich gut gehen lassen es wurde nur immer versucht es noch günstiger zu bekommen. Der Strompreis ist mit der Erhöhung auf 59,00 € / Tag inklusive also Falschaussage, wie alles Andere auch. Wir haben jedes Jahr modernisiert. Warum machen Sie daß ?Sie haben Internet von den Verwandten bekommen, weil unser Haus von der telekom wegen Telfonnichtnutzung vor 25 Jahren abgekoppelt wurde, da war internet noch kein Thema, deshalb kein Anschluss. Die Ausstattungsbilder sprechen für sich,und siehe die anderen Bewertungen. Wir sind maßlos enttäuscht und finden diese Art erbämlich.

Very relaxing vacation

The location of the holiday home is simply fantastic. Here you can completely relax and enjoy nature. It's simply brilliant with a dog, as there are many walking opportunities and the property is fenced. There are also plenty of activities for children.
The house is functional, clean and well equipped. We would book a vacation here again at any time.
One more note: The two bicycles for the children need to be replaced at some point, as they are no longer roadworthy and the saddles are broken.

Fishing vacation 2017 was great and successful.

We were together with friends, a total of 6 people (4 adults 2 children) in this little house and spent a really nice time there at the beginning of October.

The equipment of the house including the property is absolutely sufficient, only the pull-out sofa in the bedroom on the top left is now quite old and should be replaced. (Hence a small deduction).

Since the neighbor was so nice and allowed us to use his jetty, static fishing for carp and predatory fish from the shore was easier and successful.

Overall a very nice little house, we will definitely come back :-)

A great holiday address for 10 years

We have been going to the great holiday home by Lake Poseriner for at least 10 years now almost every year. We have always loved it, and since the bathroom and some other rooms have been renovated, it has become even more beautiful and cozy. It's a dream for anglers and nature lovers. There is also plenty to see and explore in the area for families. We will definitely come back and have already booked for 2018. A special greeting to the nice and very friendly neighbors. We have caught many pikes together. . . . . . . . . . WE WILL COME BACK.

Simply beautiful.

We were 4 adults and had a dog with us.
What can I say... we all came home completely relaxed.
The location is great. Quiet but still only a few minutes away from shopping opportunities.
For those who like fishing, this is the right place.
The beds are very comfortable and the equipment is good. You have everything you need.
There is one small criticism, but not necessarily the landlord's fault. The grill grate should be replaced as it seems nobody cleaned it after use. Otherwise, everything else is really great.

Also gladly next year

In May of this year, we spent our short fishing holiday here for the 3rd time and would like to come back next year. The house is highly recommended for nature lovers and anglers. It is located right by the lake and has friendly landlords and neighbors.
The house is well-equipped, with everything you need. This year, the bathroom was renovated, another plus. The value for money is excellent. If you seek peace, love nature, or enjoy cycling, this is the right place. But there is also much to discover in Güstrow and the surrounding area.
