The "FeWo In Brink", a holiday flat without stairs, has 2 bedrooms (4 beds + 2 beds), 1 large living room, kitchenette, shower/WC, hallway etc. and a covered terrace in front of the door. The total living space is about 70 sqm.
Equipment: cable TV, radio, WLAN, freezer, Senseo, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave, as well as garden furniture and barbecue. Bicycles, also children's bikes and one "Dino-Car" per family can be used free of charge.
On the farm is a playground with swing, slide and seesaw; domestic poultry and petting animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, chickens, geese, ducks. Ponies for little horse lovers. In summer, the ponies are parked at the holiday home. Pony rides and walks with ponies on the reins in groups in the presence of a competent person by arrangement. Also for adults. In winter, the ponies are kept in our calf stable in Meerhausen
Riding helpers of school age may accept a thank you in coins.

Location and surroundings of object
Holiday flat in a farm in Ruh for young and old. At ground level without stairs and also suitable for a rollator or wheelchair. With terrace, barbecue, playground and a sports field next door. Just like in the old days, small livestock live here in the stable and yard (geese, ducks, rabbits, cats, goats, sheep and ponies). The well-known Ostfriesland hiking trail, a 50 km long footpath and cycle path, runs along the back of the property
Moin and welcome to our "Farm in Ruh"!
Peace and quiet and relaxation in the heart of East Frisia - this is what numerous regular guests of all ages have appreciated about our farm for more than 30 years and regularly spend the most beautiful weeks of the year here.
This is a smallholding built in 1904, an East Frisian Gulf house. The main building houses 2 holiday flats - the particularly cosy bakehouse is right next door.
Our farm property is situated at the end of the village. To the rear, it lies on the "Ostfriesland-Wanderweg" - a narrow-gauge railway line that has been converted into a footpath and cycle path. You can take undisturbed hiking and cycling tours along it - even to the coast if you wish. Bicycles are of course available free of charge.
Families with children particularly appreciate being able to "let the little ones run" with a clear conscience. With the numerous possibilities on the farm and in the surrounding area, boredom does not arise and the holiday becomes a very special experience for our young guests. We often hear: "We only see the children for breakfast and dinner...."
On the farm there is a shared playground with swing, slide and seesaw; domestic poultry and petting animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, chickens, geese, ducks and small ponies for little horse lovers. In summer, the ponies are parked at the holiday home. Then they can also be ridden. In winter, they are kept in the calf barn in Meerhausen - the use of bicycles is free of charge. One go-kart per family is available free of charge. You can use bicycles free of charge
Brinkum is situated in the district of Leer, about 15 minutes by car from the Dutch border. Despite its very quiet location, Brinkum is very conveniently situated for day trips by car. Within a very short time you can reach any coastal bathing resort or fishing port, but also any destination in the East Frisian or Dutch inland.

For more than 30 years we have been renting out our holiday flats at carefully calculated prices, always striving to offer many people a week or two of holiday from everyday life at a reasonable cost. But at the moment it is not us, but unspeakable world events that determine the cost situation. We can only bow to the dictates and pass the costs on to our guests. "Meadows, forests, moor, and the North Sea coast in front of it .... ! - In the very northwest of Germany, the North Sea to the north, the Dutch border to the west, that is the peninsula of East Frisia, and in the middle of it you will find our little Brinkum. Man and nature have left their mark on the area in a special way. The first people settled here as early as the Neolithic Age
Today, a diverse recreational landscape opens up here: The Hesel forest, the Geest with quiet villages, the Fehn with its canals, the green expanse of the Hammrich with dikes and canals, and the wide green meadow landscapes with black and white cattle herds. In addition, there are always arable fields with grain and maize, as well as former peat bogs, where very often young cattle spend a carefree youth on remote pastures.
Brinkum is situated in the district of Leer, on the B436 between Leer and Aurich, about 10 minutes by car from the Dutch border. We are conveniently located and you can reach any coastal bathing resort or fishing port , but also any other destination in the East Frisian or Dutch inland in a short time.
But also if you are looking for a holiday resort with a high recreational value for a few days or weeks, to enjoy healthy air and the great outdoors, you will find the peace and quiet you are looking for here.
