Description
This cozy log cabin in the Southern Harz, made of natural wood, offers around 80 sqm of perfect accommodation for a relaxing vacation with family and dog. The two-story house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, just a few meters from the forest, and invites you to relax in nature.
On the ground floor, you will find a separate, fully equipped kitchen-diner that leaves nothing to be desired. It is equipped with a dishwasher, a fridge-freezer, a microwave, and much more – ideal for preparing meals together. Also on the ground floor is a large shower room with a window, which provides plenty of light and fresh air.
The spacious living room features a cozy cuddle couch, which can be used as a sofa bed for two people if needed. From here, you have direct access to the terrace and the fenced garden, which is equipped with a grill and offers plenty of space for relaxed outdoor hours. The small garden is ideal for letting the dog run freely and enjoying nature.
Upstairs, you will find two spacious bedrooms. One is equipped with a large double bed, a cozy sitting area, and a balcony that offers a magnificent view of the surroundings. The second bedroom is also equipped with a large double bed and additionally has a comfortable sofa bed that can accommodate two more people.
The quiet location near the forest and the comfortable equipment make this log cabin the ideal starting point for exploring the Harz Mountains. It is the perfect place to take a well-deserved break with family and up to 3 dogs, and to experience the beauty of nature. Whether it's hiking, trips to attractions, or experiences in nature—from here you can quickly reach the most beautiful regions of the Harz Mountains.

Super suitable for vacation with a small dog
The house with the property is in one-way free condition and visually very beautiful. It has a nice room layout and it was very clean. Well, it is a log cabin and it is quite noisy in the house (when you walk upstairs, you can hear every step downstairs) – but that did not bother us at all, it is part of a log cabin! The garden is beautiful and completely fenced. Our little dachshund lady has still found a few places where she can "break out" (even though the fencing is really very good). I then contacted the landlord (who lives right next door) and quick help came so that everything could be made escape-proof. The landlords are totally helpful and nice! In the house, there is a folder with all the information you need, which you would otherwise always painstakingly search for online, we really liked that. The deposit was refunded by the landlord about 1 week after departure without further contact, and that went smoothly and very well. The location of the house is very good for a relaxing time. You step outside and immediately enter a wooded area, perfect for walking the dog. We had the bicycles with us – it is also well-suited for cycling, there are many bike paths and forest roads where you can ride nicely. In short: We were very satisfied. We wanted 1 week of our peace, our quiet, and to relax – that worked very well, from our perspective it's top! Price/performance is okay from our point of view. In the nearby Bad Sachsa, you can find everything you need: shopping options, restaurants, bank, gas station,…!

Very relaxing
We spent a week in House 1 with our Layla (~20kg). The holiday home is well-equipped (dishwasher, stove, microwave, TV, internet...) so that no wishes remain unfulfilled. The beds (two double beds in House 1) were very comfortable, and a fan was available for hot days. Each house has a small garden with dog-friendly fencing for normal needs. However, jumping dogs still require supervision, but for most dogs, the height is more than sufficient. The terrace is well and beautifully furnished with furniture for lingering.
The surroundings were very nice for hiking and dog walks, right by the house with beautiful views of the heights. In Bad Sachsa, you can find everything you need for shopping, but also plenty of cafés.
Communication with the pragmatic landlords went very well on site. When the internet had a problem, it was taken care of immediately and repaired quickly.
Overall, the price-performance ratio was also very good! Top and highly recommended

A few nice relaxing days with our dogs
An unforgettable hiking weekend unfortunately went by much too quickly! The fox den is highly recommended if you want to relax and let the four-legged friends sniff a bit of forest air! We were in cabin 1 with 3 dogs and it was perfect! The amenities, cleanliness, and location were as described. You can hike right from the accommodation! We have nothing negative to report and would gladly come back again! Thank you for the wonderful time!

Super vacation home
The holiday home is equipped with everything one could wish for. Large bathroom, kitchen, spacious living room, upstairs 2 bedrooms with a balcony. Everything is very lovingly decorated for Christmas.
In the kitchen, a small basket with tea, coffee pads, and chocolate, as well as a gift bag.
You can purchase fresh eggs from the Fuchs family; they taste very delicious!
We would love to come back.

Stylish wooden house in the South Harz
There's nothing lacking; beautiful and very clean wooden house, small garden, nice landlords, quiet location. One can relax here.

Preis/Leistung ist aus unserer Sicht in Ordnung. Im nahegelegenen Bad Sachsa findet man alles, was man braucht: Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, Bank, Tankstelle,…!
Die Umgebung war zum Wandern und für Hunderunden sehr schön und direkt am Haus mit schönen Blicken auf den Höhen. In Bad Sachsa findet man alles, was man zum Einkaufen benötigt aber auch genügend Cafés.
Die Kommunikation mit den pragmatischen Vermietern lief vor Ort prima. Als das Internet ein Problem hatte, wurde sich sofort gekümmert und zügig repariert.
Ingesamt war auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut! Topp und sehr zu Empfehlen
In der Küche ein kleiner Korb mit Tee, Kaffeepads und Schoko sowie eine Geschenketüte.
Man kann von Familie Fuchs frische Eier erwerben, schmecken sehr lecker!
Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
