Description

The Grasberghaus with its large garden and the various terrace areas offers plenty of space to be together and also to be able to unwind alone once in a while.

On the first floor with 135 m² is the spacious living room with dining area and flat screen TV, a modern, fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms with double beds, one bedroom with two single beds, two bathrooms with shower and 2 toilets. All living areas are equipped with underfloor heating. For cozy winter days, a tiled stove is available in the living room. From the living area, the south terrace with magnificent views of the mountains, is accessible. For barbecue professionals, a gas grill is available here. A table and comfortable armchairs invite you to sit together and enjoy. In the basement (95 m²) is the wellness area with a sauna and shower, a rest area with a small tea kitchen, a table tennis room, a laundry room with washing machine and dryer and a beverage refrigerator.

Directly from the wellness area you step out onto the pool terrace, here a comfortable lounge set and sun loungers invite you to relax and the 9 m long saltwater pool invites you to swim.
The pool can also be used with the cover, like an indoor pool, so that nothing stands in the way of swimming fun even on rainy days. For the children, besides the pool, there is a lot of fun in the large garden. Two swings, a climbing frame, a children's playhouse, bobbycars and a children's play kitchen are available for the little ones. For the older guests there is a soccer table and an electronic dartboard in the table tennis room.

For self-catering, shopping facilities are within a few minutes by car. In the valley in Neukirchen, Altmünster and Gmunden: Food markets, bakeries butcher shops and much more. Gastronomy is also extensive and offers a variety of culinary, regional delights, such as the "Traunsee-Reinanke", a fish delicacy. A very good inn the "Reschen Wirt" is very close and within walking distance. The Salzkammergut and the Attersee/ Traunsee Nature Park with its fantastic mountains and many lakes offer countless sporting opportunities. In the warm season: hiking, mountaineering, climbing, cycling, swimming, sailing, surfing, rowing, golfing. In winter: Skiing, cross-country skiing, sledding, ski touring, snowshoeing ... The Salzkammergut also has a lot to offer culturally: - Gmunden with the famous Seeschloss Ort - Traunkirchen with the widely known Fischerkanzel, - the Kaiservilla in Bad Ischl- the summer residence of Emperor Franz Joseph I. and Empress Elisabeth (Sisi) of Austria - Hallstatt with its Salt Worlds - the UNESCO World Heritage Site - and much more .... Wellness Oasis

We (6 adults/2 children) had a completely perfect stay in this holiday home.
The accommodation was very clean, quietly located, and equipped with great attention to detail – we really lacked for nothing.
We were particularly pleased with the lovingly assembled welcome gift basket, which immediately created a warm atmosphere.
Petra and Walter are extraordinarily friendly and were available for questions at any time. We felt very comfortable from the first moment and would love to come back.

Great house with a fantastic view

We were able to spend a week at the Grasberghaus with seven people. Even before our arrival, the communication with Walter and Petra was warm and nice. Upon arriving at the house, we were greeted personally and given a tour, along with a small gift basket, which pleasantly surprised us!

The house itself is no less fantastic. Nothing is missing; everyone finds their favorite spot to relax, whether by the pool, in the spa area, or up in the cozy living room. Great view on both sides into the mountains, watching the sunset and looking at the stars at night.

You can quickly reach Lake Traun, Lake Atter, or Lake Mond. We also drove a bit longer to Lake Hallstatt in one day. Just a great area.

A socket was also found for my electric car, so I could charge the battery super relaxed. Great!

We felt very comfortable, returned home refreshed, and would love to come back!

Perfect place for family holiday

Place is in very nice quiet location with beautiful views. House itself is very well equiped (you will find EVERYTHING you need for the stay). Pool is perfect especially with the kids. lot of space so even with 8 adults and 4 kids you can find your calm place in the house or the outdoor area. Owner is communicating well and is really helpful. I would definitely recommend staying there.

exclusive holiday home with outstanding pool

We were greeted by a clean and extraordinary holiday home in which we felt very comfortable from the beginning. The harmonious introduction by the very friendly landlord was absolutely meaningful and eliminated possible later questions right from the start; overall very good communication. The description of the holiday home was identical to the actual conditions (only a minor detail: the exercise bike visible in a picture on this offer page in the lower wellness area was (unfortunately) no longer available). The nearest Traunsee is not easily reachable on foot. A relatively short car ride down to Traunsee makes it possible though. In Altmünster, you can easily do your daily shopping (including groceries, etc.). a larger air-conditioned Spar supermarket). The house itself has a fairly quiet location with multiple and different beautiful views of the valleys and mountains (various terrace areas). The integrated insect screens in the windows and doors were extremely useful. We had slightly higher temperatures at times (but not above 30 degrees) with some humidity. So, it was a little warm in the rooms at times during the night. The holiday home was wonderfully renovated with technically useful details. Just one small friendly suggestion: Maybe there could be some additional climate control upgrades. Perhaps good quality standing fans would be sufficient. Overall, our vacation there was very relaxing and definitely calls for a repeat.

Even in rainy weather a great accommodation

Beautifully equipped house. Swimming pool (can also be used as an indoor pool in case of rain), sauna, table tennis and much more make bad weather days pass quickly.

Heaven in a Home

It was a nice break

The house and the outdoor facilities are optimal for families with children. However, we as retirees also felt very comfortable. The terrace, the tranquility, the location, but above all the tiled stove captivated us. The host was unobtrusive, friendly, and helpful in every way. We will come back.

Relaxing family vacation

The house is fully equipped and well-maintained with attention to detail. We liked the mix between old (tiled stove) and modern (relaxation room/sauna). We (4 adults and three children) had enough space and activities (table tennis, foosball, darts, sauna) to spend a relaxed rainy day. The garden and pool area are beautifully designed and invite to relaxing sunbathing. It is hard to get the children out of the comfortably heated pool, and in the evenings, you can enjoy the day in the seating area. In good weather, breakfast and a sundowner on the upper terrace with a view of the mountains are a must.

The house is located in a very quiet area and provides a good starting point to explore the surrounding places and hiking trails (by car/e-bike). Recommended for families with children are a cable car ride to Grünberg, a stroll along the Gmunden promenade, and a boat trip on Lake Traunsee. For those who prefer more sporty activities, climbing the Sonnstein in the south will reward you with a fantastic view.

The communication with Walter has been very friendly and helpful throughout the entire period (from booking to handover). He is always available for questions, and you can tell that there is a lot of commitment in this project.

We spent two very nice weeks in the Grasberghaus and can highly recommend a stay there.

Relaxing vacation

The house lacks nothing, great accommodation and something for everyone. The children have more than enough opportunities to keep themselves busy even in bad weather, and the adults can also relax. Those who like it quiet will definitely get their money's worth in this house. There are many beautiful hiking routes and great lakes. We had a very nice week.

Relaxation and pure recreation

The property is very large and has a beautiful view in various directions. Just the view of the mountains is relaxing, but the peace that surrounds you is genius. The house is very spacious and the entire living area is on one floor. The living area is very cozy and equipped with many beautiful details. The kitchen is also equipped with everything you need. We personally missed a microwave, but it is not necessarily required. In the basement there is a pool, sauna area, games room and laundry room. Everything was lovingly and carefully furnished and invites you to linger. The pool area with the lounge is just awesome. The pool (saltwater) had a pleasant 30 degrees when we arrived. In the laundry room there is an extra large refrigerator, which we used for drinks. The additional shower and toilet, as well as the tea kitchen in the sauna area, made the stay in the outdoor area perfect. The games room includes, among other things, a table tennis table (with enough paddles and balls) that we used over and over again. We had a lot of fun with it. The furniture throughout the house, inside and out, is of high quality and well-kept. The outdoor area and garden were created with a lot of love. All in all, very very nice! The contact with Walter before and during the stay was easy, uncomplicated and friendly. Down in the village there is a bakery, butcher and Spar. 5 minutes by car. Also no problem with e-bikes. Thank you for the great stay. We will gladly come back. Family Fritscher and Bender.

Dreamlike holiday

From the first telephone contact to the very friendly welcome on site
and the excellent service, the support can only be rated as
very good.
The lovingly furnished house with top equipment, lacking nothing,
offers the start of an unforgettable holiday.
With relaxing sauna sessions, table tennis matches or rounds of darts, the accommodation offers
the accommodation offers the right variety for everyone.
To simply soak up some peace and quiet, there are more than enough loungers and chill-out options in the house as well as on the terraces.
The beds have excellent mattresses and let you sleep soundly after a beautiful day of skiing or hiking. Our family was thrilled and we will gladly come back.
