Restful vacation

We really enjoyed our vacation in this wonderfully cozy holiday home. The location is perfect, the garden is beautifully landscaped, and the house is equipped with everything necessary. We found everything as described and felt completely comfortable. We would love to come back sometime!

Relaxing vacation

Dear Semken family.
We would like to thank you very much for allowing us to stay in such a wonderful holiday home. A delightful house equipped with everything you need. Also all so lovingly furnished. Just fantastic. The wonderfully landscaped garden and the small cottage with bicycles, loungers and everything you need for grilling. We walked through the park and also looked at other properties and houses from the outside. We haven't seen anything comparable. It was a wonderful and relaxing time we spent there.

Very well maintained house with beautiful garden

We stayed in the accommodation during the tulip season in April and felt very comfortable from the first minute. Everything was available and nothing was missing. The house is very clean, the garden very well maintained and you have sun all day (until the evening hours!) on the terrace. Bicycles, barbecue, trolley etc. everything in top condition. No wishes remain unfulfilled here. The very nice landlords manage the house with great care and you can feel the attention to detail. Arrival and departure are completely uncomplicated.
You have wonderful sandy beaches right on your doorstep. Colourful tulip fields are in the immediate vicinity, but also destinations such as the Keukenhof, the flower parade in Lisse, Amsterdam are quickly reached (max. 1 hour)
Alkmaar with its famous cheese market is always worth a trip and just around the corner.
Conclusion: We will gladly come again. Thank you very much!

Perfect holiday

The holiday home is very well equipped. The kitchen has everything you need.
The bicycles are in good condition and it is fun to ride them on the well-developed cycle paths. The location is great, you can walk directly through the dunes to the beach.
We felt very comfortable and will definitely come again.

Holiday home Park Duinland

We spent two wonderful weeks here. The house is well-equipped, we didn't miss anything. We spent many hours in the great garden and enjoyed the peace. The way to the beach is easily accessible with the available bicycles but also very short and enjoyable on foot through the dunes. We would love to come back.

Dream vacation with dream weather and a dream holiday home.

Our 8-day vacation in Sint Maartenszee was perfect. Everything was just right - from the beautiful and perfectly equipped holiday home in a quiet location to the best weather.
The holiday home has everything: perfectly equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, WiFi, internet radio, and television. We didn't miss anything in terms of amenities.
Plus, the lovely terrace with a large awning, garden loungers, gas and charcoal BBQ, bicycles! Beautiful walks to the beach - through the dunes - or to be driven with the Beachbus for little money, visited each of the beautiful small towns along the coast by car. Anytime again!

Very well-equipped house in a quiet location

We have been in several vacation homes, but this one had the best kitchen equipment with everything you needed. In the garden shed were two well-running bicycles to go to the beach or make beautiful bike trips. A charcoal grill and a gas grill were available (well used). A good working Wi-Fi was also important for us. The quiet location ensured pleasant nights. Maybe the large mattress could be replaced at some point, but everyone has a different comfort preference. Hoorn, Alkmaar, Enkhuizen, Medemblik, Schagen, and the area with the Marine Museum in Den Helder were worth a visit. We recommend this accommodation. Regards, Family Behle from Nettetal.

Summer 2020

We felt very comfortable in your holiday home and spent two relaxing weeks with extensive walks and bike tours. The landscape continues to fascinate us. In the evenings, we enjoyed watching the sunset on the beach with Kibbeling and Chocomel. Even in bad weather, one is well taken care of here and can pass the time with games or a book.

Summer vacation 2019

We were completely satisfied with the holiday home. Everything we needed was available. The garden is so beautifully idyllic. Overall, it was absolutely quiet in the neighborhood. What was funny was the many little rabbits hopping around everywhere. In the shed, everything that smaller kids need was available, such as sand toys, swings, etc. Ideal. We will definitely recommend it. We had super nice weather and were active every day. Many bike trips can be taken. There are three bicycles available.

Great autumn holiday

We spent our autumn holiday here with our children. We lacked for nothing. The house is very well equipped and very well maintained. Especially WLAN was very much appreciated by all. The net swing had to be put into operation immediately and also had to be left hanging until the end. The naval museum in Den Helder (submarine) and playing Lasertec in Den Helder was the highlight for our children. We will definitely be back.

Schönes Ferienhaus

Beautifully located, peaceful here. No problem getting to the beach and shopping by bike. The equipment of the house leaves nothing to be desired, sometimes a dishwasher would be useful. All in all, a successful vacation, the weather also played along.

High recreational value

A second home

It's like a second home, very nicely furnished, and you feel very comfortable. Even our 3 1/2-year-old son felt really comfortable. He played ball in the garden every day, even before breakfast. The wagon is highly recommended for families with children. Our son even fell asleep in it. It is also very close to the beach. In our experience, it is definitely worth taking a vacation there.

Well-equipped holiday home with a very nice garden.

We had a great time there. We really liked the holiday home. Very well equipped with attention to detail. We especially enjoyed the garden, which is beautifully landscaped and where you can relax well. There are three good bicycles available to explore the area. It takes about 10 minutes by bike through the dunes to get to the beach.

Great family vacation

We had a very nice week with our 3 children. The kids especially loved the garden with the two swings and the opportunity to play with the ball on the lawn. The house is more than adequately equipped; we found everything we needed in terms of dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, etc. if one prefers to self-cater. We especially enjoyed grilling in the evenings on the terrace and basking in the evening sun.

Great holiday apartment for a relaxing vacation!

We have once again vacationed in this holiday apartment and felt almost at home from the very first day. The holiday apartment is very cozy and equipped with everything you need for a vacation, lovingly decorated. Our two children also felt very comfortable and played a lot in the beautiful little garden. The location is great, there are activities for every weather in the nearby area. And the beach is quickly reached in sunny weather. Nice contact with the landlord. Once again, many heartfelt thanks for accommodating our requests regarding the travel dates.

Super cozy holiday cottage with a great garden

During our stay at the house of the Semken family, there were four children of different ages. All of them felt very comfortable in the cottage. It's great that there are three bedrooms, so everyone had their own retreat. The house has everything you need, nothing is missing - which is not the case in every vacation home! You can tell that the house was used/built by a family with children, so children feel very welcome. The garden is wonderfully private with a great swing and plenty of space to play football. The terrace is very spacious, has a large table, 6 chairs, and an awning, which is great. In the "shed" there are sun loungers and good bicycles that can be used free of charge. It is possible to park on the property. A great, very cozy holiday cottage that we would rent again anytime!

Well-maintained and well-equipped holiday home with a beautiful garden. Smooth and sophisticated key handover. The bicycles available for free use are also in good condition. If you vacation in St. Maartenszee in October, you can enjoy an almost deserted beach. Just right for us to relax and unwind. A wonderful short break by the sea

We had a wonderful stay in the vacation home. We felt at home right after unlocking the door. The house is lovingly furnished and equipped with everything your heart desires. The kitchen is more than extensively equipped, and there are also games, books, and satellite TV for possible rainy days. It is worth mentioning the available bicycles, which are positive and ideal for exploring the area. The house is wonderfully situated in a bungalow park, far away from the main road, so you can simply enjoy the peace here. A Spar market can be reached on foot within five minutes. For major shopping, the neighboring village has a large supermarket (a five-minute drive). The beach and sea can be reached by bike in 10-15 minutes. We simply had the perfect holiday for us. The cottage is recommended for everyone, from young couples to seniors and families. In our opinion, everyone will feel comfortable here.

Ideal zum Ausspannen

Upon arrival, we felt very comfortable. The uncomplicated key deposit contributed to this, and the well-kept garden invited us to take a breath after the long car ride. The holiday home offers plenty of space, especially for families, and was very practical, well thought out, and lovingly furnished. The kitchen had everything you need: from a variety of spices to dishes with regional decor and small utensils (e.g., birthday candles!). We were just right, as our son turned 19). We greatly appreciated the three bicycles available. The numerous cycle paths allow exploring the immediate surroundings with its vast hilly dune landscape, cycling to the beach, or quickly getting bread rolls from the nearby Spar market. During the week, the North Sea revealed itself to us with roaring waves and very tame in calm weather with bright sunshine. We experienced wonderful sunsets and the diversity of the sea during low and high tide. Excursions to Amsterdam, the cheese market in Alkmaar, crab fishing in Den Oever, or the North Frisian procession in Schagen are highly recommended. We could end the eventful days comfortably by the grill or sometimes lazily in front of the TV. Both the holiday home and the landscape (certainly great when the surrounding tulip fields are in bloom) have a charm with a feel-good character.

Familienurlaub

We spent two very nice weeks in this quietly located holiday home and didn't miss anything. You can immediately tell that it is a private holiday home where practically everything is available. We especially liked the spacious, well-kept garden with a swing and enough play area for our two children. In good weather, we cycled to the beach, which took about 10-15 minutes. Alternatively, you can walk through the dunes, which takes about 30-40 minutes. 30 minutes. There are two beach accesses on site, we personally preferred the northern one. Despite the high season, there was always enough space. If you feel like taking a beach walk, you have almost the beach to yourself further north. If you are looking for a quiet holiday destination where you don't see much of the other holiday guests, this holiday accommodation is highly recommended. It is also worth mentioning the uncomplicated handling with the very nice landlords.

We will gladly come back

We were here for a family holiday with 3 children. We had a super warm week :-)

Facilities: overall, the entire apartment gives a very well-maintained and clean impression. All fully functional electrical appliances, worth mentioning the 2 refrigerators in the anteroom; German satellite TV like at home.
Breakfast on the terrace is enjoyable; the garden is also well-maintained. Pleasant surprise: there are 3 good bicycles available, so we didn't have to rent bikes. Sun loungers and beach chairs are also available.
Our children (14-17) missed having WiFi, but as parents, we didn't mind at all :-). There are several free networks in the area.

Price/Value/Service: Very nice contact with the landlord; when walking through the park, you quickly realize: price/value matches.

Location: The house is in a very quiet location, no through traffic. There is a Spar market in the immediate vicinity, for larger purchases, Albert Heijn in Callantsoog is recommended. It is about 900m to the beach through the dunes.

We all enjoyed it very much and would love to come back next year!

Beautiful holiday all around

The holiday house is a good size, perfectly equipped, and very clean. The house's amenities have everything you need for a nice vacation. The garden is very nice and large, and well-maintained. You can sit wonderfully on the terrace with the awning, grill in the evening, and enjoy the peace. You even get visits from a seagull and a few rabbits in the evening. That was a huge hit for our little son. The two bikes that belong to the house were fantastic, allowing us to go on lovely bike tours with the bike seat we brought for our son. The area there is beautiful. We really enjoyed the beach. Clean and not crowded. The distance to other places like Alkmaar or Amsterdam is perfect. We would love to come back again anytime.

Beautiful semi-detached house with a large garden. Many extras included such as BBQ, loungers, bikes, and a cart. Well thought-out house with a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. Large terrace with awning and wind protection, ideal for breakfast in the wind by the coast and sitting in the evenings. Particularly notable is the beautiful garden with a large lawn for playing near the house and a swing. The beach can be reached on foot through the dunes or by bike. Conclusion: For us, the ideal accommodation, and it was a perfect vacation.

free time activities: Hervorzuheben sind die zahlreichen und vielfältigen Möglichkeiten wie Radfahren, mit Inlinern fahren, sonstiger Sport, Wandern in den Dünen oder die herrlichen Strände zum Baden und Drachen steigen lassen. Ausflüge zu attraktiven Orten in der Nähe oder ab Den Oever Kutterfahrten an der Küste. Ein Abstecher nach Texel ist ebenso lohnend.

shopping facilities: Kleiner Supermarkt in nächster Nähe, ein größerer Supermarkt mit allem was man braucht, in Callantsoog.
