Some people have passions, ours are our holiday homes.
Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy a house that has been renovated, refurbished and lovingly designed according to ecological and energy aspects as welcome guests. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. Therefore, our houses are non-smoking houses. We kindly ask you to observe this.

The 2nd bedroom/children's room with a stylish bunk bed, which is second to none, has:
a lying surface of
140 x 200 cm and 90 x 200 on top.
All windows, as well as the patio door, are equipped with external shutters and fly screens
Our guests can look forward to the covered terrace with an area of 26 sqm, a highlight. Here you can expect a floor made of bilinga wood, a rattan lounge set, a dining table and 4 comfortable chairs, further garden furniture such as roller loungers or relax chairs in the garage
Awnings provide shade and create a cosy atmosphere.
The garden has been and is being landscaped, wicker fencing panels have been erected to provide a friendly aspect and a hornbeam hedge has been planted
Many have accompanied us through the construction period and are happy with us about a holiday home that has been renovated ecologically and energetically to a high standard. We, the owners, have furnished the house with attention to detail to make it comfortable for you, our welcome guests. Every year we try to make our guests' stay even more pleasant by making small (or larger) improvements and embellishments.

A hallway with wardrobe, cupboard, shoe rack and mirror
A wooden terrace with awnings and a polyrattan lounge set for the beautiful hours of the day. An aluminium garden table with a glass top (140 x 90 cm) and 4 high-back chairs invite you to enjoy a cosy get-together
In the garage you will also find 2 roller loungers, 2 recliners, further garden chairs, stools, cushions and pads, a barbecue, a swivel barbecue, rotary clothes dryer and clothes horse together with brackets. In the white tall cupboard are buckets, hand brushes, dustpan, brooms. You will also find the hoover there. A shelf and wall cupboards provide storage space for your supplies.
You will also find sand toys and toys for the garden, street chalk in one of the wall cupboards. Please bring your own charcoal and barbecue lighter if you no longer have any.
All plastic windows are equipped with external shutters. Fly screens and doors protect against annoying insects.
If required, we are happy to provide you with a travel cot, a bed guard and two high chairs (one for indoors and one for the terrace) free of charge.
We attach great importance to sustainability. That is why the entire house is equipped with LED or energy-saving lamps. The electricity is green electricity and a photovoltaic system produces most of the electricity for the house

Location and surroundings of object
In a holiday home settlement, ideal for families, but also singles and couples who want to enjoy the peace and quiet, our two holiday homes are only 80 m apart as the crow flies. The exclusive location directly behind the summer dyke with the shortest way to the beach in town is ingenious. You live in the immediate vicinity of the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site with its great diversity.
You can easily reach the heated seawater swimming pool on the beach on foot or with the trolley, which is available in the house. The large playground on the beach is something for big and small. Numerous summer events always offer a change of pace. Whether the knights' games in Dornum, only 6 km away, or the numerous musical events on the beach, there is a lot on offer in summer. In the Reethaus am Deich holiday programme for children or even the adults don't miss out with yoga or Pilates, for example.

You can also enjoy a long break in Dornumersiel, a recognised spa resort. If the medical requirements are met - for you or one of your children - you can take an outpatient rehabilitation course, also known as a spa cure.
For a stay of 21 days, the health insurance fund will contribute to the cost of board and lodging for each family member in need of a cure. There is even a higher allowance for children. Ask your doctor and then your health insurance fund. The Social Security Code also states that outpatient treatment is preferable to inpatient treatment. To get and stay healthy, you have to feel well. So, go on holiday for your health!

Once the other side of the North Sea
The house pleasantly surprised us with everything the furnishings had to offer. The only disadvantage for us was the two radiators. Since it got very cold quickly when the sun went down, the apartment was a bit too cool for us. But... we would rent it again anytime, just at a different time of year. ..anytime gladly again...
A beautiful house with a large covered terrace; very lovingly furnished. The equipment, especially in the kitchen, was impressive. We lacked nothing. Communication with the landlords and their representatives was wonderfully uncomplicated and smooth. I would love to spend my vacation there again anytime.

Very beautiful holiday home
We were there for two weeks. We were absolutely delighted by the furnishings and the great large terrace. There is a grill, sand toys for the children, and a paddling pool. Everything and even more is available. The landlords are very friendly and answer all questions. We even found a thick binder containing various excursion destinations and brochures for activities. The guest gift and the guest folder were sweet. The administration was also very nice and competent. Absolutely recommended! We will gladly come back.

Our vacation accommodation with grandchild
We found a clean and fully equipped house. The lawn in the garden was not mowed, but it did not negatively affect our stay. The rooms were adequately sized, and there were books and games, radio, and television. The living and dining area were cozy and decoratively furnished. The path to the beach was not far and could be easily reached on foot. There were opportunities to go into the mudflats at one point. Our grandchild felt very well and managed the distance to the beach several times a day at the age of 3. In bad weather, a wellness bath was easily reachable by car. Shopping was nearby. Leisure activities are also available, as well as options to satisfy one's hunger. We would go to Dornum in the Krebsgang again. Thank you, dear hosts, for the nice communication and good service.

A successful vacation
Not only the perfect facilities, but fortunately also the good weather contributed significantly to making it a satisfying and relaxing vacation all around.
We can only thank the landlords for providing the numerous extras for "use/sharing."
We also found it commendable that this holiday home is equipped with a photovoltaic system for self-consumption, so no additional costs for energy were incurred.

We fell in love with the area straight away and were very lucky to be able to buy our two houses in 2012. With a lot of effort and great local craftsmen, we have renovated and refurbished them, equipped them with PV systems and thus contribute a little to climate protection. We have equipped the houses in such a way that we, but also you, dear guests, can feel comfortable. Relax, come to rest, enjoy the good air, let go - that is what we wish for you. Every season we try to bring something new into and around the houses by making small or big changes, we want to improve the recreation factor. A break from everyday life right next to the Wadden Sea Natural World Heritage Site is something special. Dornumersiel has become our adopted home - enjoy it too.
