Description
Located directly behind the dyke, only 400 m from the sandy beach, you will find our lovingly furnished holiday home in the popular Ramm settlement.
Your holiday home with a view of the summer dyke
Enjoy the spaciousness of the living-dining area, which we have lovingly designed. The terrace also offers a cosy atmosphere outside, is covered and invites you to linger, even when the evening comes.
All plastic windows are equipped with external shutters, fly screens protect against annoying insects.
The garden also has a paved seating area that invites you to enjoy the afternoon and evening sun. Direct access to the summer dyke to enjoy the sunset in the evening has flair.
We, the owners, have furnished the house with attention to detail to make it comfortable for you, our welcome guests.

The hallway with wardrobe, bench with storage space, shoe rack and mirror.
The storage room offers space for your luggage and supplies. A real highlight that you will appreciate. Nothing stands in the kitchen, everything finds its place here. In case you need it: the hoover can also be found here.
The handcart is also waiting there for trips to the beach and the surrounding area.
In the small storage room between the bathroom and the children's room, there is an iron, ironing board, as well as a toilet attachment for our little guests and the high chair for the indoor area. There are also clothes pegs and laundry baskets here.
In the garden house you will find more garden chairs with cushions and pads, 2 deck chairs, 2 relax chairs, parasol, a barbecue, a swivel barbecue, a clothes horse and a rotary clothes dryer. In addition, sand toys and outdoor games as well as sidewalk chalk. Please bring your own charcoal and barbecue lighter if you no longer have any.

The kitchen is well equipped: toaster, water and egg boiler, coffee machine, Tassimo, blender, waffle iron, seafood waffle iron, microwave, a cooker with ceramic hob, oven, head-free extractor bonnet, dishwasher, sink, a good selection of pots, pans, dishes, bowls, baking dishes, cutlery. We have also thought of the little guests with unbreakable plates, cups, bowls and cutlery as well as a baby food warmer.
Many have accompanied us through the construction period and are pleased with us about a holiday home that has been renovated ecologically and energetically to a high standard. We, the owners, have furnished the house with attention to detail to make it comfortable for you, our welcome guests. Every year we try to make our guests' stay even more pleasant by making small (or larger) improvements and embellishments.
If required, we are happy to provide you with a travel cot, a bed guard and two high chairs (one for indoors and one for the terrace) free of charge.
We attach great importance to sustainability. Therefore, the entire house is equipped with LED and energy-saving lamps, the electricity comes from an eco-power provider and the photovoltaic system on the roof produces a large part of the electricity for the house.

In a holiday home settlement, ideal for families, but also singles and couples who want to enjoy the peace and quiet, our two holiday homes are only 80 m apart as the crow flies. The exclusive location directly behind the summer dyke with the shortest way to the beach in town is ingenious. You live in the immediate vicinity of the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site with its great diversity.
You can easily reach the heated seawater swimming pool on the beach on foot or with the trolley, which is available in the house. The large playground on the beach is something for big and small. Numerous summer events always offer a change of pace. Whether the knights' games in Dornum, only 6 km away, or the numerous musical events on the beach, there is a lot on offer in summer. In the Reethaus am Deich holiday programme for children or even the adults don't miss out with yoga or Pilates, for example.

You can also enjoy a long break in Dornumersiel, a recognised spa resort. If the medical requirements are met - for you or one of your children - you can take an outpatient rehabilitation course, also known as a spa cure.
For a stay of 21 days, the health insurance fund will contribute to the cost of board and lodging for each family member in need of a cure. There is even a higher allowance for children. Ask your doctor and then your health insurance fund. The Social Security Code also states that outpatient treatment is preferable to inpatient treatment. To get and stay healthy, you have to feel well. So, go on holiday for your health!

Super holiday accommodation
The holiday accommodation was very clean and well-maintained. The accommodation matched exactly what was stated on the website. The holiday house is ideally located in a quiet holiday home area behind the dike, near the beach, harbor, and restaurants. The kitchen was very well equipped, there were enough towels, and the beds were very comfortable. The property management was also very nice and accessible. The price-performance ratio was also excellent.

Dream vacation
We felt very comfortable in the holiday home Am Anker. The layout of the rooms is great and everything is lovingly furnished. Everything you need and more is there. The small garden behind the house with a view of the dike (unfortunately there were no sheep this time, but when they are there it's better than cinema :) ) is perfect for relaxing comfortably, but even in rainy weather you can sit outside and grill nicely thanks to the roof. In front of the house, there is a large parking space; you can drive backwards right up to the front door, perfect for loading and unloading even in the rain. The kitchen is well-equipped, there are numerous seating options, everything is lovingly decorated. The location is great; in two minutes, you can walk to the dike and already see the North Sea. The beach and the outdoor swimming pool with seawater can also be reached on foot. We have a small suggestion; it would be nice if the Nordseecard could also be received in digital form, as we had to take the more cumbersome route of photographing it and uploading the image to the wallet.
We will definitely be happy to come back! :)

Beautiful house
We felt super comfortable from the first minute, the rooms are all lovingly furnished, the kitchen has everything you need and more. The location directly behind the dyke is unbeatable. The nice lady who takes care of the keys has such a Nordic charm, you feel immediately welcomed :) and the owner herself is absolutely lovely. We will definitely come back again :)

We fell in love with the area straight away and were very lucky to be able to buy our two houses in 2012. With a lot of effort and great local craftsmen, we have renovated and refurbished them, equipped them with PV systems and thus contribute a little to climate protection. We have equipped the houses in such a way that we, but also you, dear guests, can feel comfortable. Relax, come to rest, enjoy the good air, let go - that is what we wish for you. Every season we try to bring something new into and around the houses by making small or big changes, we want to improve the recreation factor. A break from everyday life right next to the Wadden Sea Natural World Heritage Site is something special. Dornumersiel has become our adopted home - enjoy it too.
