You reach Villa Thea via a grand staircase that will first take your breath away. Her gaze falls on the beautiful heated pool and the 80 m² large open-air living area with a wind-protected shaded spot and the meter-long table with special seating furniture. The outdoor kitchen also allows the hobby cook to become the "chef de cuisine" here.
An exclusive seating lounge and seat cushions invite you to relax in comfort.
A further 150 m² of outdoor area offers you free choice of location for your sun loungers.
You enter the open, bright living kitchen, which is equipped with every comfort. At the large dining table, you will find ample space for up to 8 people and can enjoy the far-reaching view all the way to the sea.
The four unique bedrooms, each with a separate entrance, offer an unobstructed and fascinating view of the sparkling, nearby sea. There are three en-suite shower bathrooms, two of them with bidet, and one separate shower bathroom with washing machine, dryer, and ironing board. The bedrooms are equipped with SAT-TV and in each of the sleeping rooms you will find extra quiet whisper air conditioners for a pleasant and restful sleep.
The highlight of Villa Thea is the heatable infinity swimming pool with salt filtration system, without chlorine. Cancellation terms:
Free cancellation possible up to 90 days before the arrival date.
Regardless of when the cancellation is made, the deposit will not be refunded to the guest. If a replacement tenant is found for the canceled period, the deposit will be refunded. If a cancellation is made up to 90 days before arrival, 100% of the rental price, minus the deposit, will be refunded to the guest. If a cancellation is made less than 90 days before arrival, there will be no refund of the rental price. If a replacement tenant is found for the canceled period, the full rental price including the deposit will be refunded to the guest. We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.

Excellent villa
Wonderful villa, very authentic, but the best thing is the landlady, sympathetic and took good care of us. The villa has everything you need and every little detail has been thought of. The location has excellent places for breakfast and is perfect for a relaxing holiday.

Cretan impressions
We were four of us with our two teenagers (15 & 17 years) at Villa Thea in Pitsidia, all the promises that the pictures make are fully fulfilled, it is an eyrie with a view of Pitsidia, the Cretan mountains, and of course the sea, the sunsets are truly magical, the palm trees around it, the dining area, layout of the rooms, the truly fantastic pool, but especially the loving decoration in all areas inspire and leave absolutely nothing to be desired, the villa is a perfect place to enjoy every minute of your vacation and leaving is really painful...
Birgit enriched the settling in and the stay with many helpful tips!
We recommend the villa without reservation!!!
One note: the road was not yet finally completed by the municipality in June 2022, so the approach was not as dreamy as the stay in the villa.

Erholung und Entspannung pur auf Kreta
We spent a week in the beautiful Villa Thea with the whole family (8 people) during the autumn holidays. If there is one thing you can do here, it is to relax and enjoy. Birgit was always available and supported us with advice and help (restaurant recommendations...). The house is absolutely recommendable because it has great facilities, offers a magnificent view, and is so well located that you can reach the village of Pitsidia in a few minutes on foot. It was a very successful holiday all around.

Traumurlaub auf Kreta
We spent a dream week at Villa Thea. The location with a view of the entire bay and the evening sunsets is unique. The facilities left nothing to be desired. The hostess is very welcoming and has compiled many valuable information about the area. The only slightly difficult part is the steep approach on the unpaved road. We will definitely not be the last time there.

Wir empfehlen die Villa uneingeschränkt!!!
Eine Anmerkung: die Straße war im Juni 2022 von der Gemeinde noch nicht abschließend fertiggestellt und daher war die Anfahrt nicht so traumhaft wie der Aufenthalt in der Villa
Wir wurden wieder sehr herzlich begrüsst und fühlten uns auch vom ersten Augenblick an wie zu Hause.
Die Villa ist top ausgestattet und bietet neben den wunderschönen und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Räumen eine traumhafte Sicht auf das Meer mit einzigartigen Sonnenuntergängen.....Romantik pur.
Ebenso wird alles sehr gepflegt, gereinigt und unterhalten, so dass man einfach entspannen und geniessen kann.
Wir freuen uns jetzt schon wieder unseren nächsten Urlaub in der Villa Thea zu verbringen und natürlich auch auf Birgit und Ari als perfekte Gastgeber.
Die Villa bietet alles was man an Komfort braucht, gerade für eine Gruppe von 8 Personen auch ideal, da alle DZ ein eigenes Bad haben und das Grundstück so groß und sehr gut mit Liegen ausgestattet ist, das jeder auch eine Rückzugsmöglichkeit findet. Toller individueller Service durch Biggi und Ari!
Der Ort Pitsidia ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen und noch sehr ursprünglich.
Der Strand ist nur einen Kilometer entfernt.
Insgesamt kann man sich in der Villa Thea sehr gut erholen.
Obwohl es diesmal teils windig war, konnten wir auch die Abende auf der Terrasse genießen, die man durch Vorziehen von Glasflächen sogar in einen Wintergarten umwandeln kann.
Die nette Vermieterin Birgit ist uns wieder von Mietwagen über Masseurin bis zu Lokaltipps mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden.
Zusammengefasst: Es war perfekt!
Einen so schönen Ausblick auf das Meer hatten wir noch nie.

Die Villa ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Platz für alle :-)

Ferienhäuser gemietet, dieses hat alle übertroffen! Pure Begeisterung!!
Die Küche, da gab es nicht ein Teil was fehlte. Auch kleine Details wie
Geschirrspültaps, Waschmittel etc. waren vorhanden. Der Infinity- Pool
und der Ausblick zur jeder Tageszeit, ein Highlight. Dazu die Gastgeber Birgit & Ari super nett und immer mit Rat und Tat zur Stelle.
Wir haben uns lange nicht mehr so wohl gefühlt. Dafür möchten wir uns nochmals bedanken, denn dieses Team vor Ort macht
den Urlaub perfekt.
Ein Kompliment auch auch die Autovermietung sowie den reibungslosen Ablauf!!! Auch hier kam die Empfehlung und Abwicklung von Birgit und Ari... TOP, besser geht es nicht.

Die Villa bietet einen wunderschönen Meerblick, ist sehr sauber, mit Liebe zum Detail und einer sehr guten Ausstattung.
Die Poolanlage ist sehr gepflegt, mit unterschiedlichsten Liege- und Sitzflächen in der Sonne und im Schatten. Am langen Holztisch mit Outdoor-Küche lassen sich gemütliche Abende verbringen.
Bilder alleine können die Besonderheit und Schönheit des Anwesens nicht wiedergeben.
Hervorzuheben ist auch der tolle Service der Vermieterin, Birgit, die uns von An- und Abreise, Mietauto, über Masseurin bis zu Restaurantempfehlungen stets mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden ist.
Zusammengefasst: Es war traumhaft!
Birgits Salz und Olivenöl bringen uns nun ein wenig Urlaubsgefühl nach Hause.
Wir haben für nächstes Jahr bereits wieder gebucht und können es schon kaum mehr erwarten, erneut in diese Traumwelt einzutauchen.
Die netten Vermieter kümmern sich um alles von der Anreise bis zur Abreise.
Die Lage ist wunderschön auf einem Berg mit Meerblick.
Man kann in den anliegenden Restaurants super essen gehen. Die Einwohner im Umkreis sind alle sehr freundlich und aufgeschlossen.
Es gibt viele schöne Buchten und Strände zu endecken.
Alles in allem ein superschöner Urlaub und sicher nicht unser letzter in diesem tollen Haus.

Das Meer ist zu Fuß in ca. 20 Minuten zu erreichen. Sie finden einen fast unbebauten Naturstrand mit Sand, an dem man super wandern, baden, schnorcheln oder einfach nur Sonne tanken kann. Einige kleine Kneipen bedienen direkt an den Strandliegen mit Sonnenschirmen. Kein Massentourismus, der sich aber an der Nordküste befindet, trübt hier das Badeerlebnis.
Da die Villa auf einer Anhöhe leigt hat man tagsüber immer einen angenehmen Wind, der eine Klimaanlage auch Nachts ersetzt. Die Villa wird mittel Klimaanlage wohl temperiert und kann auf die individuellen Bedürfnisse eingestellt werden.
Die Möglichkeiten für Rennrad Touren in den Morgenstunden sind optimal.
Einer der schönsten Ausflüge, war die Empfehlung in die Orleander Schlucht zu wandern. 200 Meter hohe Felsen und dazwischen ein 30 Meter Streifen nur aus riesigen Orleander Sträuchern und Bäumen. Nach ca. 2 Kilometern öffnet sich die Schlucht zum Meer und man steht an einer kleinen Bucht in kristall klarem Wasser, umgeben nur von Felsen und ein paar griechischen Fischern, die hier das Abendbrot guter griechischer Tavernen jagen. Hier muss man einfach reinspringen.
Der nächste Ort von der Villa ist in 6 KM Matala, bekannt aus der Hippie Szene der 70-er Jahre. Hier findet man kleine und große Tavernen, Restaurants und Bars. Für jeden Geschmack ist was dabei. Unsere Empfehlung ist das Restaurant: "Die Zwei Brüdern".
Auch hat es in Matala diverse Läden mit Mode, Keramik und alles was das Mitbringsel Herz begehrt.
Das Beste an der Villa sind aber seine Vermierter. Die Tipps, Unterstützung und Gastfreunschaft dieser Familie sind einmalig. Wir haben nicht nur das weltbeste Tzatziki bekommen sondern lernten auch viel von der griechischen Mentalität, die uns Deutsche hin und wieder beschämt.
Die Villa ist für alle Paare und Familien, die Erholung suchen und das tatsächliche griechische Leben kennenlernen wollen, super geeignet. Kai
Die Ausstattung ist super - die Fotos verraten fast alles!
Auch die Umgebung ist perfekt: Abgelegen von den Touristenhochburgen im Norden ist Pitsidia ein netter, kleiner Ort mit einer angenehmen Mischung aus Einheimischen und Touristen. Es gibt einiges zu entdecken, nette kleine Läden und v.a. gemütliche Tavernen in gehbarer Distanz, wo man richtig lecker und günstig essen kann.
Die Strände in der Nähe sind sehr schön, ein Teil mit Liegen, Schirmen und Bar/Restaurant, aber auch wilde, breite Strandabschnitte. Wir sind manchmal morgens vor dem Frühstück schnell zum Strand (5 min. mit dem Auto) und freuten uns dann auf einen heißen Kaffee und ein leckeres griechisches Frühstück mit spektakulärem Ausblick zurück in der Villa Thea.
Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in alle Richtungen sind vielseitig (wenn man sich dann mal vom Haus trennen kann.. ;-).
Alles in allem bietet die Villa Thea einen richtigen Urlaub für die Seele und wir wünschen uns ein baldiges Wiedersehen.
