Indescribably beautiful

Arriving at the villa was already a dream. We were greeted so lovingly and everything was taken care of so that "madam" could fully enjoy the first day. The villa's amenities are excellent and so lovingly designed. I could have stayed there much longer. The unique view and the design of the rooms. It felt like coming home. I am absolutely thrilled and will gladly recommend it. Everyone should be able to experience something like this on Crete. Biggi and Ari, hats off and always gladly again.

Super Urlaub

Great villa in a great location above Pitsidia.
The villa offers all the comfort you need, especially for a group of 8 people, as each double room has its own bathroom and the property is large with plenty of loungers, so everyone can find a retreat. Great individual service by Biggi and Ari!
The village of Pitsidia is within walking distance and still very original.
The beach is only one kilometer away. Overall, one can relax very well at Villa Thea.

Perfectly equipped villa in a fantastic location

For the third time in a row, we had the pleasure of spending our vacation at Villa Thea. We were warmly welcomed again and felt at home from the very first moment. The villa is top-equipped and, in addition to the beautiful and tastefully furnished rooms, offers a fantastic view of the sea with unique sunsets. Pure romance. Everything is also very well-maintained, cleaned, and maintained, so you can simply relax and enjoy. We are already looking forward to our next vacation at Villa Thea and, of course, to Birgit and Ari as perfect hosts.

especially - cozy - perfect

We were already the second time in Villa Thea, and again we were thrilled by the special ambiance of the property with many cozy and lovely details. Despite it being windy this time, we were able to enjoy the evenings on the terrace, which can be transformed into a conservatory by pulling glass panels. The nice landlady Birgit supported us again with advice and action from rental car to masseuse to local tips. In summary: It was perfect!

Urlaub im Paradies

The vacation was perfect. The villa is beautifully located so you can enjoy a great sea view - we couldn't get enough of it - including sunrises and sunsets. The villa is well-maintained, everything you need is available - in the kitchen (great coffee machine, all dishes, blender, kettle, etc.), as well as in the bathroom - washing machine available - everything is decorated with love. Each room has a TV and its own bathroom, cozy beds. The friendly care from the owner of the house personally was particularly great - she was available around the clock and gave us many great recommendations. A car would be recommended so you can move freely and explore the area. The villa is located in a small friendly village Pitsidia, which offers numerous restaurants and also supermarkets, pharmacies. If you're looking for a personalized and exclusive vacation with a great price-performance ratio, then don't hesitate to book! Thank you, we will definitely come back.

As perfect as perfect can be!

Villa THEA is a beautiful property located about an hours drive south of Heraklion. The house is absolutely stunning with post card views of the Mediterranean and the charming village of Pitsidia just below. The house is very large with all the modern amenities and conveniences. The four bedrooms are large and having their own full bath which helps make getting ready quickly a very easy thing. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and is a very inviting and comfortable space. The open air veranda and large patio are great to sit and enjoy your early morning coffee or relax after taking a dip in the pool. The beautiful beaches of Matala and Kommos are just a 10 min drive away and the wonderful town of Pitsidia is great to enjoy the local cooking and the warm hospitality that Greeks and Cretans in particular are especially known for. We stayed for a week with another family (there were 4 adults and 4 children) and we could not have been happier. Birgit and Aristides were wonderful hosts. They provided us with a wealth of information about the area and were readily available if we had any questions or needed help for anything. Our week at Villa THEA is one we shall never forget and we look forward to returning again in the very near future.

A great villa and great hosts! We have rented quite a few vacation homes, this one surpassed them all! Pure enthusiasm! The kitchen, there was not a single item missing. Even small details like dishwasher tabs, detergent, etc. were available. The infinity pool and the view at any time of day, a highlight. In addition, the hosts Birgit & Ari are super nice and always ready to help. We haven't felt so comfortable in a long time. We would like to thank you once again, as this team on site makes the holiday perfect.

Compliments to the car rental as well for the smooth process!!! The recommendation and handling also came from Birgit and Ari... TOP, it couldn't be better.

Fantastic!

Located in a quiet location on a hillside directly in Pitsidia is Villa Thea.
The villa offers a beautiful sea view, is very clean, with attention to detail and very well equipped.
The pool area is well maintained, with various sunbathing and seating areas in the sun and in the shade. Cozy evenings can be spent at the long wooden table with outdoor kitchen.
Pictures alone cannot capture the uniqueness and beauty of the property. It's also worth highlighting the excellent service provided by the landlady, Birgit, who supported us with advice and assistance from arrival and departure, rental car, to a masseuse and restaurant recommendations.
In summary: It was fantastic!
Birgit's salt and olive oil now bring a bit of holiday feeling back home.

Just a dream

It was just breathtakingly beautiful - there's no other way to put it! Villa Thea is super beautiful, lovingly and top furnished, fully equipped with everything you need and with a dreamy view over Pitsidia, the sea, and the mountains. In addition, you have absolute privacy. The photos correspond to reality, even though it's hard to believe.
We have already booked again for next year and can hardly wait to immerse ourselves in this dream world again.

Der Wahnsinn

The villa is a dream, no wishes are left unfulfilled there. The nice landlords take care of everything from arrival to departure. The location is beautiful on a mountain with sea views. You can eat great in the nearby restaurants. The residents in the area are all very friendly and open-minded. There are many beautiful coves and beaches to discover. Holiday for the soul

Villa Thea is not only the most beautiful holiday home in Crete, but simply a dream! In the morning, when you wake up, you are greeted by the warm and harmonious colors of the house as well as the extremely lovely and decorative furnishings. During the day, you can relax in one of the many lounge-like corners, the photos of the pools speak for themselves, and in the evening, you can either enjoy a romantic evening with your partner or spend a sociable evening with friends in the spacious open-air kitchen. The long wooden table was our favorite, and the rolling and extremely comfortable chairs were a highlight.
The facilities are great - the photos reveal almost everything! The surroundings are perfect as well: secluded from the tourist hotspots in the north, Pitsidia is a nice, small village with a pleasant mix of locals and tourists. There is a lot to explore, nice little shops and especially cozy taverns within walking distance, where you can eat really tasty and affordable.

The beaches nearby are very beautiful, some with sunbeds, umbrellas, and a bar/restaurant, but also wild, wide stretches of beach. Sometimes we quickly drove to the beach in the morning before breakfast (5 min. by car) and then looked forward to a hot coffee and a delicious Greek breakfast with a spectacular view back at Villa Thea.

Excursions in all directions are varied (if you can part with the house, that is ;-).
All in all, Villa Thea offers a real vacation for the soul, and we hope for a soon reunion. Many thanks also to the dear landlords Birgit and Ari, who have created a small paradise here for their guests with a lot of taste and love for detail and always stood by with great tips and advice.

Traumurlaub

In July 10, the four of us stayed at Villa Thea on the south coast of Crete. The villa is a dream, the pictures only partially reflect the true value of the impression. Completely Mediterranean style and Cretan chic at a place where one could surely award 7 stars for the view of the sea. In almost untouched nature, surrounded by olive, lemon, and fig trees, one can relax and feel very close to paradise at this place. We have never had a more relaxing vacation at this price in any region within Southern Europe. The sea can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes. You will find an almost unspoiled natural sandy beach where you can enjoy hiking, swimming, snorkeling, or simply sunbathing. Some small pubs serve directly to the beach loungers with umbrellas. There is no mass tourism here, which is located on the north coast, to spoil the bathing experience. Since the villa is located on a hill, there is always a pleasant breeze during the day, which replaces the need for air conditioning at night. The villa can be nicely temperature controlled with air conditioning and adjusted to individual preferences.
The possibilities for road bike tours in the morning hours are optimal.
One of the most beautiful excursions was the recommendation to hike in the Oleander Gorge. 200-meter-high cliffs and in between a 30-meter strip consisting only of huge oleander bushes and trees. After about 2 kilometers, the gorge opens up to the sea and you find yourself at a small bay with crystal clear water, surrounded only by rocks and a few Greek fishermen who are here hunting for the evening meal of good Greek taverns. You just have to jump in here.
The next town from the villa is Matala, which is 6 KM away, known from the hippie scene of the 70s. Here you will find small and large taverns, restaurants, and bars. There is something for every taste. Our recommendation is the restaurant "The Two Brothers." In Matala, there are also various shops with fashion, ceramics, and everything the souvenir heart desires. The best thing about the villa, however, are its hosts. The tips, support, and hospitality of this family are unique. Not only did we get the world's best tzatziki, but we also learned a lot about the Greek mentality, which occasionally embarrasses us Germans. The villa is great for all couples and families looking for relaxation and who want to experience real Greek life. Located in the heart of Preveza, it offers privacy and a spacious garden with fruit trees.
