We would like to give you some tips and kindly inform you of a few House-Rules.
Pitsidia is a lively rural village with many traditional or themed restaurants, all within a 10-minute walking distance.
The lively square of Pitsidia, or Platia in Greek, regularly hosts live bands with traditional Greek music on Thursdays, as well as cover bands playing golden oldies. Local shops around the "Platia" sell fresh fruits and vegetables and produce their own wine; around the village center, you will also find various traditional restaurants and a friendly small supermarket for your daily needs.
Komos beach is within walking distance through the stunning dunes of the Mesara plain. We recommend a first visit to “Bunga Bunga,” which has a beachfront with easy access to the sea for small children, sunbeds, and parasols. Alternatively visit the village and historic bay of Matala with her beautiful beach and lively collection of music bars, shops and top class sea side restaurants.
Matala is 5 minutes' drive or alternatively you can reach it by bus from the supermarket bus stop.
And for the culturally interested, we suggest a visit to the Phaestos Ruins (10-minute drive) or the Archaeological Museum of Messara near Moires (25-minute drive).

Villa Rhea is situated in the village of Pitsidia. A lively village with many families and children. It has a Supermarket as well as many nice Kafenions. Our house is close to the beach of Komos and within walking distance. Alternatively, you can walk or drive to the Seaside Village of Matala. With many bars, music, and great restaurants. Also, it has the famous Roman Caves to visit.
The area of Phaestos has many wonders to discover. Archaeological excavations and museums are nearby. Our house is fully furnished and has everything you need for a smooth vacation. The pool is 32m2 and has an overall depth of 175 cm. We supply bedding, sheets, and towels for the bath and the pool. All kitchen supplies are kept up to stock, i.e., washing liquid, insect repellent, cleaning liquids, washing machine soap, etc.
