Spieka-Neufeld is located on the Wurster North Sea coast in the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site and belongs to the holiday region Wurster North Sea coast near Cuxhaven. It is a family-friendly seaside resort. Our holiday home is a modern furnished house in solid construction. It was completely redesigned in 2012. Due to the gas central heating, it can be booked all year round. It is located directly behind the dyke in the immediate vicinity of the beach, marina, sailing and cutter harbour. A golf course and an equestrian farm are 2.5 km away.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is situated on a plot of approx. 400 sqm with south-west facing terrace and sunbathing lawn. The beach is approx. 300 m away. Several restaurants and hotels with excellent cuisine in different price categories are in the immediate vicinity. A snack bar is directly on site. During the holiday season, a mobile baker comes to the housing estate. In the low season, the bakery is about 1.5 km away. The snack bar also sells fresh bread rolls. Great restaurants with very good cuisine are directly on site. All major shopping (Aldi, Rewe, Lidl, café, hairdresser, etc.) can be done in Nordholz, about 5 km away

Welcome to the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site on the Wurster North Sea coast near Cuxhaven!
The following activities are available around Spieka-Neufeld: Horse riding, deep-sea cruises or boat trips to the seal banks, sailing ( in the marina there is a possibility to launch your own boat), fishing and fishing trips or golfing. An indoor playground, an indoor and outdoor wave pool, the Aeronauticum, a North Sea museum and even a nudist beach area are all close by. In the slightly wider surroundings there is also the possibility of interesting holiday activities. Here you can visit the wave pool with sauna facilities and sea view in Duhnen or various museums. The climate and emigration house as well as the shipping museum in Bremerhaven are also worth a visit.
Furthermore, wonderful walks or bicycle tours with your family and perhaps also with your dog by the sea and through the salt marshes as well as through the heath landscape of the Werner Forest are recommended. The network of paths is very well developed.
A carriage ride through the Wadden Sea to the island of Neuwerk or a fishing trip to the deep sea is also an experience. If you want to go on a "real" sea voyage, you can take a day trip to Helgoland on a butter ship
Those who like it even more active can fly their kite or go surfing on the beach. Even kiting and kiteboarding are possible.

Wonderful, cozy accommodation
We have been going to Spieka-Neufeld for vacation for many years, precisely because it is very quiet there. Accordingly, you are just a few hundred meters from the North Sea.
The holiday home of the Lausberg family is very cozy, but also practically furnished. We missed nothing; on the contrary, we felt very comfortable.

Urlaub mit Hund
We had a nice holiday here, the house and the surroundings were fine. The only thing we found really unfortunate was that the distance to the North Sea (beach) was not accurate. The listing stated that the beach was 0.3 kilometers away. This was not the case. It was about 1.5 kilometers on foot to the beach. Also, due to the distances, a car is advantageous.

Restful family vacation
We had a wonderful vacation. The house is clean and well-maintained, and the surroundings are very quiet.
However, it is not a 5-star house, as it lacks certain things like a fireplace or WiFi, as well as other furniture in the living and bedrooms. The price-performance ratio is completely okay though, and we would gladly come back again.
It's a shame that the neighbor behind the terrace was busy with the lawnmower and trimmer during our 2 grilling evenings (each time after 6:30pm), as he had all day for that.

Wer es ruhig mag
So we were very satisfied, a very quiet location, yet not far from the beach. Bread and rolls came in the morning with the bakery van from 8:00. Close by, a great restaurant (right behind the dyke). We can only recommend this accommodation.
