Comfortable holiday flat in a cosy and well-kept atmosphere for 2 persons. It is located on the ground floor of our holiday home. -Non-smokers.
Separate entrance with spacious terrace. Quiet location - approx. 5 minutes walk from the beach. The holiday flat has 45 m² at your disposal and is equipped with 1 bedroom, a spacious kitchen-living room and bathroom for two persons. You can relax on the large sun terrace with sun loungers. A barbecue is available.

You live quietly in the middle of nature, pure relaxation.
The house is located in the local part of the island rest zone 1,
surrounded by the National Park Have fun and get a nice foretaste of the idyllic surroundings, and the location of the holiday home.
You can catch a unique view by taking a look at the same time at the panoramic harbour-
and the skyline of the city of Borkum.
Borkum is the westernmost and the largest of the seven East Frisian Islands on the German North Sea coast. The holiday island is about 20 km from the mainland. As a state-recognised North Sea health resort, Borkum has numerous spa facilities and four bathing beaches. The holiday resort, which is lively in the summer season, has a beautiful beach promenade and a pedestrian zone with numerous shops, pubs and restaurants. One attraction is the beach sauna and the indoor seawater pool. There are many places of interest. The aquarium, the local history museum and the two lighthouses to Borkum: There is an airfield on the island, and car ferries to the mainland run between Emden-Außenhafen and Eemshaven (NL). The crossing from Emden takes about two hours by car ferry and one hour by catamaran.

Cancellation terms:

We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance: You can get documents online or at any travel agency. If you do not take out cancellation insurance and are unable to come, you are welcome to provide a subtenant who will take over your rental contract. Unfortunately, re-letting through the Borkum Tourist Information involves agency fees, which we would have to charge you. Similarly, if we are unable to re-let, we will unfortunately have to charge you 90% of the total cost. If the property is re-let, we will inform you immediately, and only then can you be released from the rental agreement you have made with us. If you leave early, the rent will not be refunded. Cancellation due to Corona will be decided on a case-by-case basis.

Idyllic holiday with dog ???

If you are really looking for peace and seclusion - far away from the tourist hustle and bustle - in order to relax from everyday life, then Opas Hus is the right place for you
The house is located in the middle of the dunes, about 4.5 km from the centre of the village, halfway between the airfield and Ostland.
The location is unique with a view of the dunes, the airfield behind and the skyline of Borkum in the distance.

The house has a chic, modern character and the owners are extremely hospitable, caring and very nice.

We stayed in the Sanddorn apartment for 2 weeks with our Labrador dog.
The apartment is located on the ground floor of the annex (bungalow) and is very tastefully furnished.
We found the floor very dog-friendly.
It is made of laminate, from which you can quickly and easily remove any dog hair. The three of us felt very, very comfortable in this sensibly and practically furnished apartment.

This apartment is highly recommended for an idyllic holiday with a dog.
