't Brummelhuus is both child and senior friendly, lives on solar energy and is located on the friendly recreation park Bosrijk Ruighenrode, in the middle of the woods around Lochem. In the spacious garden you can relax in the sun or shade, and if you're lucky a squirrel will even walk by during breakfast! It is ideal for holidays in the sign of peace and nature, with family and / or friends.
You can go for lovely walks and cycle rides in the woody area and along the well-marked cycle routes in the Achterhoek's coulisse landscape. Sporty guests will soon discover that the park is adjacent to one of the most beautiful mountain bike routes in the Netherlands. An 18-hole golf course is also just a stone's throw away. The recreation park has a playground, its own tennis courts and, since 2021, a bowling alley. Bicycles can be rented at the reception of hotel-brasserie Bosrijk Ruighenrode.
The entrance of the house leads to the hall, followed by a well-equipped kitchen where you can show off your cooking skills. You can enjoy your meal in the dining room, which has underfloor heating and is tastefully furnished. In the house you will also find blackout curtains and dimmable lights for a relaxing evening. Parking is available for 2 cars and the bathrooms have shampoo and soap dispensers.

The cottage was fully equipped and really clean. Beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately, our experiences with the reception of the Park were a little less good.

A very well equipped and high quality holiday home in a peaceful location. The staff were very friendly and the Dutch are always excellent hosts. We have spent many vacations in the Netherlands and would ideally like to retire there at some point. Peaceful country, with lovely people, quiet and clean - with fantastic cycling (the best in the world), great food.

But 1 point. The dongle with the TV is probably on the private WiFi and not the unsecured WiFi. A smart TV would complete the picture. But this also gives peace, no Netflix and stuff for a while.
