Description
Our villa is located in a quiet residential area just 600m from Moraira's beach. Restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets are all within 300m. The villa offers stunning sea views from all levels.
The villa is on a flat 1000m² plot, enclosed by a wall. Its location in a cul-de-sac next to a plot of forest guarantees absolute tranquillity just minutes from the beach.
Although equipped with 3 parking spaces, this villa is the ideal choice for those who do not want to use their car or use it as little as possible during their holidays. A 5-minute walk from the first restaurants and bars, 450m from a supermarket and within walking distance of Moraira's beautiful Playa de la Ampolla beach with its beautiful promenade, terraces and restaurants, it offers a pleasant transition between rest, relaxation and entertainment.
The electric gate gives access to the private property with a 4-bedroom villa, 2 living rooms with open kitchen, a large private pool (10 x 5m) equipped with solar panels for extra heating from May to October, 3 ground-level outdoor terraces, a small garden, an outdoor kitchen/pool bar, an outdoor toilet, an outdoor shower and a laundry and ironing room.
Those who prefer a spot of shade next to the pool can do so under the spacious pergola.
Interior description:
The living area of this villa is 250m². The living room and all bedrooms have air-conditioning cooling/heating. Wi-Fi is suitable for video calls (high-speed fibre).
On the ground floor there is a separate lockable flat consisting of a living room with a double sofa bed, TV with Blu-ray Disc/DVD player, an open kitchen with large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, cooker, oven, microwave, Dolce Gusto espresso machine, toaster etc., a bedroom with double bed and large built-in wardrobe, a storage room, a bathroom with double sink, large shower and toilet. Finally, there is a covered, lockable terrace with a large built-in wardrobe and a dining area, followed by a spacious open terrace with electric blinds.
The first floor is accessed via an external staircase and includes a spacious living room with 2 large sofas, Smart TV with IPTV decoder (Internet Protocol Television) with more than 150,000 free TV channels, an open kitchen with a large fridge/freezer, gas cooker, dishwasher, combi oven, coffee machine, Dolce Gusto espresso machine, toaster etc. and a breakfast bar.
The spacious, covered terrace can accommodate 10 people for dining together and also has an electric sunshade.
The master bedroom has a double bed, a small desk, a spacious built-in wardrobe, a private terrace with sea views and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in rain shower, a sink and a toilet.
The second bedroom has 2 single beds, a spacious built-in wardrobe and an identical bathroom en-suite.
The third bedroom has a double bed, a spacious built-in wardrobe and a separate bathroom with a walk-in rain shower, a sink and a toilet.
From the covered terrace, stairs lead up to the 50m² roof solarium/terrace where you can enjoy breathtaking sea views while relaxing in the spacious lounge area.
By the pool is the outdoor kitchen/pool bar with large gas barbecue, ceramic hob, sink, large fridge/freezer and another long club table in trespa that seats 10 table guests. There is also a laundry room with a toilet, urinal and sink. A third room has a washing machine, dryer, iron, ...

Our villa is situated in a quiet residential area as the last house in a cul-de sac. Here you are not bothered by passing traffic, pedestrians or nosy neighbours.
MORAIRA
Moraira is a small coastal town located in the beautiful mountainous north-eastern tip of the Costa Blanca. The town is conveniently located between Alicante and Valencia airports (about 90 km from each).
The surrounding region has a quiet and relaxed atmosphere, with beautiful and unspoilt countryside and many small villages to explore.
The town itself has grown pleasantly from a small fishing village to an attractive holiday and rest resort, retaining its considerable charm that attracts visitors from all over Europe. It is also particularly popular with Spanish holidaymakers from Madrid and Valencia.
Moraira has an impressive marina, an excellent variety of local shops, markets, seafood restaurants and harbour-side bars, and best of all, it has still managed to retain its Spanish character.
Beaches
The two main sandy beaches slope gently into the Mediterranean; both have been awarded the EEC's prestigious Blue Flags for cleanliness and are well maintained and very safe for family swimming.
Leisure & recreation
Padel, tennis, football, squash, all water sports, boat hire and trips, horse riding, go-kart tracks for both adults and children, a small fairground and three good nightclubs for all ages are all available in Moraira.
Golf
Three great golf courses can be visited a few minutes' drive from Moraira.
Eating out
Moraira offers many good-quality restaurants, including eight Michelin-recommended restaurants in the immediate area, three of which are Michelin-starred and not too expensive.
Excursions
Easily accessible by car are some larger towns that are well worth a visit: Javea, Calpe, Denia and Altea can all be reached within 15 km, while Benidorm is about 30 km away. There are many sights you can visit on a day trip. Besides the other coastal towns, you can also explore the spectacular inland and mountainous surroundings, including the magnificent fort on top of Mount Guadalest, the Vergal Safari Park near Denia, Europe's largest palm grove in Elche and the old town of Murcia.
Valencia (Spain's third largest city) is an hour and a half away. Barcelona (the second largest city) and the capital Madrid are both a four-hour drive away and can all be reached via an excellent motorway.
Spain's alternative to Euro Disney - Port Adventura - near Barcelona, is about a four-and-a-half-hour drive away.
Markets
If you like open markets, besides the weekly Friday market next to the beach, you can plan a visit to the various markets in neighbouring towns and villages every day of the week.
Apart from enjoying the bustling Spanish activity, you can buy excellent and cheap fresh fruit and vegetables, local specialities, herbs and spices, leather goods, clothes, carpets, fresh and silk flowers, souvenirs, pottery and a whole variety of other goods.
Fiestas
As in the whole of Spain, numerous fiestas (festivals) are held in the region throughout the year; with specific fiestas in April, June, July and November in Moraira itself.
Locals
Moraira's locals are extremely friendly and patient with foreign visitors. It is not surprising, as in addition to farming, they rely on tourism for their livelihood.
With a large European residential community, there is a pleasant international atmosphere in the area. Most people are happy to speak English with you and even happier if you make a small attempt to speak Spanish.
Climate
Moraira has a typical Mediterranean climate, with cool sea breezes in summer and protection by the surrounding mountains from cold north winds in winter. The area averages almost 3,000 hours of sunshine a year and the average temperature easily exceeds 20 degrees.
In 1986, the World Health Organisation recommended the area's climate as one of the most equitable in the world; not too hot in summer and not too cold in winter. On average, the area boasts 325 sunny days a year, making it an ideal year-round destination.

GENIETEN in deze prachtige villa
Deze moderne zeezichtvilla en de locatie zijn absoluut prachtig, erg rustig, privé en alles is aanwezig. Op loopafstand vind je bars, restaurants, een grote supermarkt en stranden. Het zwembad met buitenkeuken/poolbar, meerdere terrassen en pergola waren geweldig om te genieten in de zon of in de schaduw. Frank is servicegericht en behulpzaam!

Fijne, rustige vakantievilla!
Casa Sol Y Mar is een zeer mooi vakantieverblijf. We kwamen er volledig tot rust met de ganse familie. De villa beschikt over alle mogelijke voorzieningen die een vakantiewoning moet hebben. De villa was zeer proper toen we aankwamen. Onze vakantie kon meteen van start gaan. Het was rustig gelegen in het bruisende stadje Moraira. Misschien wat jammer dat er 's avonds minder taxi's rijden. Er was ook een heerlijk zwembad, ideaal voor de kinderen! Wij als ouders hebben dan weer volop gebruikt gemaakt van de buitenkeuken en de lounge op het dakterras. Het was een zalige vakantie!

Perfecta estancia
Casa en zona muy tranquila de Moraira con todo lo necesario para una perfecta estancia. Muy limpia, todo en perfecto estado y muy cómoda para moverte por la zona. Perfecta la comunicación con el dueño y con la persona encargada de darnos las llaves e información de la casa.
Estuvimos 10 personas y estuvimos muy bien en la casa. Cada habitación tiene su baño independiente, aire acondicionado y está equipada con todo lo necesario.
Si volvemos por la zona , repetiremos.

A little piece of heaven
We have recently returned from a wonderful relaxing holiday in this lovely, very well equipped villa. We were a family of 6 with ages ranging from 66 to 15 and the split level layout of the villa was ideal as it meant that everyone could have their own space and privacy when needed.
Casa Sol Y Mar is situated in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Moraira and is within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants overlooking the sea, however, we were so comfortable and happy at the villa that we didn't go out anywhere near as often as usual.
The villa itself has been very well thought out and everything you could possibly want has been provided including three huge fridge freezers!! The pool is a lovely size and well maintained and there is a large covered area to the side which is ideal for providing shade. The BBQ kitchen and seating area is also well equipped and was very popular with our son who is a keen BBQ chef!!
Although we loved everything about the villa, our favorite area would have to be the roof terrace with its wonderful views towards Moraira and out to sea. It really is a fantastic addition and we spent many happy evenings up there admiring the view and then watching the stars come out.
Frank was very professional and reassuring to deal with, and Joana, who welcomed us to the villa was always on hand should there be any problems (which there weren't).
Overall this is a really lovely, well equipped villa which I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone and which we hope to return to in the near future.

Casa Sol Y Mar was excellent, dream holiday rental!
We rented this modernized, private villa with a marvelous sea view for our family of 6 adults and 4 children. It was a very comfortable villa, finished to a high level with Wi-Fi, music, etc. and last but not least; really practical. . The kitchens were very well equipped with everything one could possibly need; lots of appliances, plates, pots and pans, cutlery, glasses and other utensils. Everything was brand new. Although we love to dine in restaurants during our holiday, it was a pleasure to cook our own meals! It was great to discover the gas BBQ in the outside kitchen near the pool. Even more great, was to watch the children having fun in the pool while we were near, having our daily cocktail at the bar. . The water of the swimming pool was 30°C. We loved it!! . We walked into town on several occasions. It was really not far. Moraira was a great place with lots of restaurants, shops and even an entertainment park. We enjoyed every single day; one day we made long walks along the coasts, the other day we enjoyed the luxury of our villa. . Frank, the owner was very helpful. Communication before and arrangements afterwards were always correct. We felt very confident in every detail. . Bottom line, only good things to say. . Our most relaxing holiday is when the kids are having a great time. . This surely was one of our best holidays! . We will definitely return to Moraira and no doubt about it…to Casa Sol Y Mar. .

I have been visiting Moraira for the last five years and had of course very high expectations to renting CASA SOL Y MAR. How could CASA SOL Y MAR compete with the villa we usually rented and love so much. We were not at all dissapointed. The villa is superb in all ways. Perfect location, interior and exterior. I need space, air, light and a sea view and I got it all. All of us visiting CASA SOL Y MAR know Moraira from earlier. We know exactly what we want to do, where to go, eat, visit and so on. CASA SOL Y MAR is located perfectly near everything you need having the best vacation. Really you do not need a car, but as we play golf and tennis we need a car to get around, but apart from this you can walk everywhere. All you need is only minutes away. Een weekje op vakantie in Casa SOL Y MAR om nooit te vergeten. Alles was top, de villa van alle gemakken voorzien, super uitgeruste keukens, satelliet tv, wifi…. modern ingericht , knusse kamers met goede ruime boxspring bedden en ruime inbouwkleerkasten en prachtige badkamers met modern sanitair en zeer belangrijk voor ons, de voldoende koelcapaciteit (airco’s op slaapkamers en meerdere frigo’s en diepvriezers ). De buitenkeuken met bar aan het ruime zwembad was top. De ligging van de villa is ideaal, rustig gelegen aan het einde van een doodlopende straat en toch dicht bij het strand, de winkels en restaurantjes, we gebruikten onze wagen haast nooit. s ’Avonds loungen op het dakterras badend in sfeerverlichting en genieten van de adembenemende zeezichten was fantastisch. Wandelen naar Moraira met zijn goede restaurants en sfeervolle bars creëerde een echte vakantiesfeer. De contacten met Frank (eigenaar) waren ook vlot en zeer correct. Zowel voor de huur, als erna. Casa Sol Y Mar is een topper, zeer aan te bevelen ! Wij hebben ons reuze geamuseerd en keren zeker terug!

Great stay at Casa Sol Y Mar
We were 4 couples celebrating 4 50:th birthdays. The Villa was superb aswell as Frank, the owner, and Joanna, the friendly woman who accomodated us. Wonderful stay. Moraira itself is has a lot of good restaurants, nice people and several good beaches just 10 min walk(rocky) and 15 min walk(sandy) away. Groceryshop 5 min walk. Highly recommended. Deposit was payed back as agreed, so no worries. The only bad thing about Moraira is the taxiservice. Only one company and it sucks big time!!

Villa très bien située , bien équipée , très moderne ! . We waren met vrienden en hun hun gezin 9 personen 4 volwassenen, 5 tieners en jongvolwassenen.. Spent a week in this wonderful villa. Great location away from all the noise, with short distance to everything. Fantastic place if you are two or three families. Loved the outdoor kitchen with everything you need. Also the roof terrace is a great place to calm down after a long day in the pool.

Perfect holidayhome
An ideal location and lovely views from the villa. Supermarket and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Small beach and bars/restaurants a 15 minute stroll away. Main beach and town a 30 minute stroll with beautiful views of the coastline. The villa was very clean and spacious and perfect for our family of nine. It was very well appointed. We would definitely not hesitate in returning. Joanna, the contact, was very approachable and helpful. It was a nice touch having the pool floats/toys which the children enjoyed using. We did use the local taxi’s to return to the villa from the main beach and town as the walk is uphill.

AMAZING HOLIDAYHOME Casa Sol Y Mar
Firstly, I would like to thank Joana for greeting us and making us feel so welcome and settled us in, she also amazingly turned up in the early hours to see us off, from our lovely two week stay in this beautiful villa.. . As a family of 7 - with an age range from 52 down to 2 1/2 years old - we had everything we needed, the villa was 'exactly' as the pictures and we wanted for nothing. Also, having the different living areas suited the whole family, the little ones loved the down stairs apartment and we had our own space upstairs... so it all worked out perfectly. . . But the best thing of all was the outside 'barbeque kitchen area facilities' we used this for everything. And the laundry room was a great addition.. . The location was also brilliant ... the supermarket(s), a lot of the great restaurants (highly recommend The Olive Tree and Kostas) all within walking distance and the beach and marina we could walk down to but a taxi was a handy option to get back on some occasions - which only cost around 6 euros.. . I would highly recommend this villa and thank you also to Frank for your excellent customer service and thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful villa.. . Deze bestemming is voor onze EIGHTclub (4x 50+ stellen) een toplocatie gebleken. Niets teveel gezegd door Frank, prima service!!. Van alle gemakken voorzien en alle faciliteiten in uitstekende staat. Prachtige villa voor gezinsvakantie dicht bij het strand
Casa Sol Y Mar is een mooie afgewerkte villa en van alle gemakken voorzien. Volledige inventaris, geen tekort aan borden, glazen etc. Zeer smaakvol en met aandacht ingericht. Daarnaast is de villa zeer schoon. . Een heerlijk zwembad met mooie ligstoelen en mooi tuinmeubilair. De buitenkeuken was ook een fijne aanvulling.. Kortom een heerlijk huis voor een ontspannen vakantie.

Dreamlocation for a family holiday!
We were a family of nine. Grandparents with two sons, wives and grandchildren. Frank and Joanna were at the villa to greet us and explain how everything worked. Joanna was swift to respond to any texts with queries. We loved the villa - it had every piece of equipment you could want - and was so comfortable and very smartly furnished with modern bathrooms and kitchen. Moraira was a great town with lovely beaches and restaurants. Just ten minutes down the road was a supermarket but tester than that a great beach bar and restaurant overlooking the rocks with a small beach the children could play on white we supped our chilled beers. This was our favourite haunt. I can't recommend Sol y Mar enough.
