Description
Our holiday home Strandkrabbe is a detached Danish wooden house. It is comfortably and cosily furnished. We want you to have fun, relax and feel at home. It is approx. 54 m² and can be occupied by up to 4 people.
An open modern and fully equipped kitchen with dining table invites you to cook. In the living area there is a wood-burning stove, a cosy sitting area with Smart TV and SAT connection as well as WLAN internet radio
2 separate bedrooms. Bedroom I has a double bed with separate mattresses (180 x 200 cm) Bedroom II has two single beds in bunk form (80 x 190cm each). On request, we will be happy to provide you with a children's travel cot and a children's high chair free of charge.
The bathroom has a ground-level shower, washbasin and WC. A hairdryer is also available.
On the large and wind-protected sun terrace you can enjoy the sun all day or make yourself comfortable in the garden on the lawn.
A parking space and carport are directly at the house. You can lock up your bicycles in the garden house with power supply.
Our holiday home Strandkrabbe is available to you at any time of the year.

The Strandkrabbe holiday home is located in a quiet private street only about 600 m from the sea and the sandy beach.
The Baltic seaside resort of Schönhagen has a family character and offers a beautiful sandy beach, cliffs, children's playground and a variety of cycling and hiking trails.
For excursions to Kappeln, Eckernförde, Schleswig, Kiel, Flensburg etc. our holiday home is the ideal starting point.

Arrive and feel at home
First, we were greeted very warmly and friendly by Mr. Meyer. He showed us everything and explained it. Questions were answered promptly.
As soon as we entered the house, we felt comfortable right away.
It is very lovingly furnished. Our grandson immediately discovered the children's room, and all the lovingly placed plush toys were allowed to come to bed every evening.
The kitchen had everything one could need.
Thank you very much for the wonderful days at the Strandkrabbe. We would gladly come back again.

Bicycle vacation in Schönhagen.
Bicycle vacation on the Baltic Sea
We found a very nice and comfortable holiday home with a large enclosed garden. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Mr. Meyer (house manager) and he showed us everything and explained it to us. We were pleasantly surprised by the cozy and very practical furnishings. We particularly enjoyed the wind-protected terrace where we spent a lot of time after our bike tours. The garden shed belonging to the house was particularly important for us. We could safely store and charge our e-bikes there. Schönhagen was well located for the start of our bike tours. We had a very nice vacation and will book the Strandkrabbe again someday.

Holiday with dog
We found a very nice and comfortable Danish holiday home with a large fenced garden. Mr. Meyer greeted us friendly upon arrival and showed us everything we needed to know about the house, as well as providing some informative tips for the surrounding area. The holiday home is located in a very quiet area, but it only takes a relaxing 10-minute walk to reach the beach, playground, shopping and dining opportunities etc. The dog beach is about 500 meters away from the main beach. We very much enjoyed the relaxed and quiet location with no through traffic, no airport noise, nothing at all - a luxury moment for city dwellers. The next larger town, Kappeln, is located about 10 minutes away by car. It is beautifully situated on the Schlei and invites to various boat trips. The town is well-maintained with plenty of shopping and dining opportunities, as well as ice cream parlors. Visiting the smallest town in Germany, Arnis, is also a fun experience. Unfortunately, we only stayed for a week in this beautiful area, but highly recommend it. Many thanks also to the landlords of the holiday home, Mrs. and Mr. Kalusche, for their very nice contact. Baltic Sea beach almost in front of the holiday home
We were more than pleasantly surprised by the cosy and loving furnishings. Everything in excellent condition, nothing was missing. This holiday home is also recommended for somewhat rougher weather. Games, books, radio, Wi-Fi and TV available. A wood-burning stove for cosy evenings in front of the fire and a wind-protected terrace for the last rays of the evening sun.....s nothing is missing and we will gladly come back.
