The cozy holiday home is located on the edge of a holiday home settlement in Schönhagen on a plot of 380 square meters. The property is surrounded on all sides with a hedge and completely fenced. At a distance of approx. 700 m you can reach the beach of Schönhagen on foot. The house has a fireplace and a sauna. The three bedrooms, each with a double bed, offer accommodation for a maximum of 6 people. There is a bathroom with a shower on each floor.

Location and surroundings of object
The Baltic Sea resort of Schönhagen is located between the cities of Eckernförde and Kappeln. The distance to Kappeln is about 12 km. There are all shops and a varied gastronomy. Schönhagen captivates with its sandy beach, which connects to the cliffs to the north and has a length of approx. 2 km. It is divided into a main beach, a dog beach and a nudist area. In the season, the beach is monitored by the DLRG.
The playground directly behind the beach with slide, climbing tower, carousel and cable car, a football and a beach volleyball court offer the kids space for exercise and an interesting change from everyday beach life.
There is also a café, bistro, snack bar and fish roll stand on the beach. And a small supermarket.

Schönhagen is an insider tip in the winter months, especially for surf fishing and spin fishing for sea trout. The nearby ports of Maasholm and Eckernförde offer boat trips for deep sea fishing. With a large kitchen and a separate freezer, the angler will find everything in our house that is needed to take care of the catch.

Beautiful holiday home
We especially liked the fact that it was an enclosed property with a fence and bushes. This was ideal for our dog Chani and us. The layout of the rooms was very suitable for us 6 adults. The kitchen was also well laid out and had all the utensils we needed.
We will gladly come back again.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt
Sehr schönes, modernes Ferienhaus!
Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Besteck und Geschirr ist alles reichlich vorhanden, so dass man die Spülmaschine nutzen kann. Der Einrichtungsstil ist super gemütlich, wie auf den Bildern im Internet gezeigt.
Wir waren zu zweit und haben die Sauna gerne genutzt. Die Nähe zum Naturschutzgebiet durch die Wiesen zum Strand ist ideal um mit unserer Hündin lange Spaziergänge zu machen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants im ca. 6 Km entfernten Kappeln sind nicht weit. Wir haben die 5 Tage im Ferienhaus Svala genossen und würden es auch unseren Freunden empfehlen.

Beautiful holiday in late autumn
We had a great holiday week in late autumn and felt very comfortable. The house is very comfortably furnished and lacks nothing. The nearby beach invites you to go for long walks. In the evening you can relax in the sauna.
The towns in the area are worth a visit. The Geltinger Birk nature reserve is also highly recommended.

Familiensommerurlaub 2021 - wir kommen wieder...
Wir sind Wiederholungstäter und verbringen seit 14 Jahren unseren Urlaub in Schönhagen. Nun haben wir zum wiederholten Male mit unseren zwei Kindern den Sommerurlaub in dem Ferienhaus Svala verbracht. Zu Beginn wird man freundlich empfangen und erhält Einweisung als auch nützliche Tipps für Unternehmungen oder auch gastronomische Empfehlungen. Das Ferienhaus ist gemütlich, sehr sauber, gepflegt und toll ausgestattet. Uns hat es wirklich an nichts gefehlt.
Das Haus liegt in ruhiger Lage und hat einen eingezäunten Garten, in dem die Kids gerne gespielt haben. Unsere mitgebrachten Fahrräder konnten wir in dem kleinen Anbau (in der auch eine Waschmaschine und Trockner steht) gut unterstellen. Der schöne Sandstrand ist nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Dort ist auch für die Kleinsten ein Spielplatz und für die Großen ein Bolzplatz und ein Beach-Volleyballplatz. Eine kleiner Einkaufsmarkt und der Bäcker sind auch nicht weit entfernt. Für den größeren Einkauf ist in Kappeln ein REWE und Aldi vorhanden.
Die Vermieter sind übrigens sehr nett und darauf bedacht, dass sich ihre Gäste auch wohlfühlen. Leider hat dieses Jahr der Sonnenschirm seinen Dienst eingestellt. Obwohl wir auch auf den Sonnenschirm hätten verzichten können, wurde per Express (!) ein neuer Schirm geliefert, sodass wir diesen sogar noch ausgiebig austesten konnten. ?
Wir hatten wieder einen tollen Familienurlaub und haben uns in dem Ferienhaus rundum wohl gefühlt. Eigentlich dürften wir gar nicht so viel Gutes über das Ferienhaus schreiben, da ja ansonsten die Konkurrenz um die Buchungszeiten nur noch größer wird. Aber deshalb ist sicherheitshalber jetzt schon der nächste Urlaub in dem Ferienhaus Svala schon fest eingeplant und gebucht! ?

Alles top, nur der Grill war ziemlich verrostet, ansonsten gibt es nichts auszusetzen.

Tolle Unterkunft
