Location and surroundings of object
In the idyllic climatic health resort of Pappenheim in the Altmühltal Nature Park near the Franconian Lake District, our house is situated in a central yet quiet location for your holiday.
Within walking distance you can reach the railway station, the boat landing stage of the Altmühl, the cycle path through the Altmühltal, the cosy town centre with numerous cafés, restaurants, butcher's shops, bakeries and other shopping facilities, high ropes course, the tennis court and the health centre. The guest trail for anglers is also within easy walking distance. You can also rent fishing equipment from us for a fee.
The town of Pappenheim has an outdoor swimming pool and a beautiful old linden avenue leading to the town centre with its castle. The Weidenkirche, a 30-metre-long church is mainly made of the natural material willow and can seat approx. 150 people.
At a distance of 6 km you can visit the hobby quarries, Bürgermeister-Müller-Musem Solnhofen as well as Altmühltherme Treuchtlingen.
The recreational area of the Franconian Lake District (Brombachsee, Altmühlsee) can be reached in approx. 30 minutes by car.

Holiday in Pappenheim
We had an indescribably beautiful holiday in Pappenheim. It could not have been better. Everything went great and the landlords were incredibly hospitable.

Large bright flat.
The flat was very clean! The owners gave us a warm welcome. We spent a super short holiday in Pappenheim and in the flat. We will be back!
