Our house "Casa R30" is located in a quiet location on the south coast of Madeira, in the sleepy seaside resort of Canico de Baixo. It has 2 bedrooms, each offering 2 people. In addition, a living / dining area, a kitchen, a patio, a terrace with sea views and a small garden. The house is located in a central quiet location in the residential area of Canico de Baixo and has sea views. Bathing facilities, restaurants, bars, sports facilities, gym, squash, mountain biking, scuba diving, hiking, car rentals, beach promenade, shops,
ATM, bus stop, German doctor etc. Everything
reached on foot in 5-10 minutes.
More information on the sunny south coast of Madeira between the capital Funchal (about 7 km) and the airport at Santa Cruz (about 10 km) is Caniço de Baixo, the seafront district Caniços.
Caniço de Baixo is located in one of the best locations of Madeira with plenty of sunshine, making it the ideal location for a relaxing and fun-filled holiday.
Caniço with its flower gardens and palm trees, cozy restaurants, bars, shops and villas very popular, yet quiet. Romantic rocky coves, rocky terraces with stairs into the sea and the pebble beach for swimming in crystal clear waters or for a sunbath. Two local diving centers offer the opportunity to dive into the volcanic underwater scenery and the underwater national park. With a little luck even mantas and dolphins can be spotted. Of particular note is also the beautiful and varied fauna. The waterfront promenade invites for an evening stroll. Two golf courses are within about 15 minutes. The Old Town Caniços with countless shops is about 30 minutes walk away on a mountainside. From Caniço from the island can be explored by bus or rental car.

Wonderful holiday home with plenty of peace, nature, and relaxation.
The Casa R 30 on Rua Baden Powell in Canico de Baixo is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday in Madeira. The house is very nicely furnished, has a wonderful garden, and a terrace with an Atlantic view that one can never get enough of. The kitchen and bathroom are of modern standard, the beds are great, and the living room shines with a large panoramic window. It is a charming holiday home that one definitely wants to return to for the next trip to Madeira. We are already looking forward to that!

Beautiful
The house is truly a gem! It has everything that makes a vacation pleasant: great amenities, comfortable beds, and a fantastic view from the terrace. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Always beautiful
We have now been to this apartment for the 8th time - because it just fits.
Whether as a couple or with children, there is enough space for everyone.
The landlord regularly maintains the house and ensures that everything works as it should. This year, the TV, washing machine, and sofa were new for us, and there is now an air conditioning unit in the living room. Quick responses are given to minor problems or last-minute booking changes. For us, the situation is still optimal: dive center and lido, restaurants and shopping opportunities are nearby, and yet it is quiet.
It was very nice again!

Great accommodation
Our stay in this house was fantastic. The location by the sea was simply dreamy. The amenities left nothing to be desired. The host was always friendly and helpful, making us feel completely welcome. The garden is very well-maintained and invites relaxation. A shout-out to Ms. Recktenwald, on-site, who was always there with advice and assistance. We are already looking forward to the next time. Overall, it was the best house we had rented in Madeira.

Dream vacation for the 5th time in the Casa R 30
Now for the 5th time, we spent our vacation on the beautiful island of Madeira in the cozy house of the Hentschel family. We are always thrilled by the beautiful location, the wonderful view of the sea, and the garden with the purple blooming bougainvillea right in front of us. The house is very comfortably furnished, and it has everything we need. We repeatedly benefit from the juicer to make fresh orange juice every morning. The apartment is clean and tidy. The patio is very practical for setting things down. It is easy to start activities all over the island from the house with a rental car, scooter, or bus. Communication with Mr. Hentschel is straightforward, and he responds very quickly to concerns.
So: We will come back for a 6th time. . . . .

The house has been family owned since the establishment of 1969th Since we are always happy, even with our son, flew to Madeira to recover but also to the island again and again to discover. With meticulous attention to detail, the house has been renovated in recent years and brought up to date. The pleasant climate, year-round blooms and the positive Portuguese make their stay on the island unique. Ob zu zweit oder mit Kindern, es ist genug Platz für alle da.
Der Vermieter hält das Haus regelmäßig instand und sorgt dafür, dass immer alles funktioniert, wie es soll. In diesem Jahr waren Fernseher, Waschmaschine und Sofa für uns neu, auch eine Klimaanlage gibt es jetzt im Wohnzimmer. Bei kleineren Problemen oder kurzfristigen Buchungsveränderungen wird schnell reagiert.
Für uns ist die Lage nachwievor optimal: Tauchbasis und Lido, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe und trotzdem ist ruhig.
Es war wieder sehr schön!
Das haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, und es gibt alles, was man braucht. Immer wieder profitieren wir von der Saftpresse, um uns jeden Morgen Orangensaft zu pressen. Die Wohnung ist sauber und aufgeräumt. Der Patio ist sehr praktisch, um Sachen abzustellen. Es ist einfach vom Haus aus mit Mietauto, Roller oder Bus Unternehmungen auf die ganze Insel zu starten. Die Kommunikation mit Herrn Hentschel ist unkompliziert, und er reagiert sehr schnell auf Anliegen.
Also: Wir kommen auch ein 6. mal wieder.....
Die Küche bietet alles was man braucht, die Schlafzimmer haben hervorragende Matratzen mit Topper. Das Bad ist zwar ohne Fenster ist aber gut be- und entlüftet.
Das Ess- / und Wohnzimmer ist gut ausgestatttet, die vorhandene Technik ist auf aktuellen Stand.
Alle Fenster und Türren haben Fliegenschutzgitter!
Die Süd-Terrasse bietet eine tolle Aussicht und ist den ganzen Tag ein beliebter Aufenthaltsort. Ebenso der Garten mit 2 Liegen und Sonnenschirm.
Der Kontakt zum Vermieter, Herrn Hentschel, war freundlich und unkompliziert.
Die Betreuung vor Ort durch Fam. Recktenwald trägt wesentlich zum Wohlfühlen im Feriendomizil bei. Für alle Fragen kompetente Ansprechpartner, dabei überaus freundlich und herzlich.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.
Es war alles vorhanden, was wir für einen längeren Urlaub gebraucht haben. Wir können diese Unterkunft auch wegen ihrer ausgezeichneten Verkehrslage ( Nähe zu Funchal, Flughafennähe - aber kein Fluglärm!!!!!!!!!!!, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, naheliegende Strände......)nur jedem weiterempfehlen.
Auch der Kontakt mit dem Besitzer war immer sehr hilfreich. Wir werden sicherlich Madeira wieder besuchen ( auch wegen dem angenehmen Klima ) und hoffentlich hier wieder " Unterschlupf " finden.

Als wir unser Ferienhaus das erste Mal sahen und betraten, waren wir einfach nur begeistert. Die Bilder lügen nicht. Die Einrichtung ist gemütlich, es ist alles da, was mann braucht und alles ist sehr, sehr sauber! Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Besonders das Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit Meerblick war ein absoluter Traum.
Vielen Dank auch an das Ehepaar Recktenwald, für den herzlichen Empfang und die vielen Tipps.
Im näheren Umfeld gibt es inzwischen zwei Supermärkte und sogar einen Bäcker. Mehrere Restaurants und Bars sind zu Fuß gut zu erreichen und auch die Busverbindung nach Funchal ist gut und günstig. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Urlaub!
Der Blick von der Terrasse über die Dächer der Häuser gegenüber auf`s Meer - mehr Meerfeeling geht kaum.
Herzlichst umsorgt, wenn wir wollten, übrigens wieder vom Ehepaar Recktenwald. Das war Wohlfühlurlaub pur! Danke für alles!
Die Wohnung bietet alles, was man braucht, von der Zitruspresse (womit wir uns jeden Morgen frischen Orangensaft gepresst haben), über Salatschleuder und Pürierstab bis zum Geschirrspüler und zahlreichem Besteck und Geschirr war alles vorhanden, was man braucht.
Der Haushaltsraum bot Möglichkeiten zum Waschen, Grillen und Trocknen von nasser Wäsche und Badeschuhen.
Der Kontakt zu Familie Recktenwald von schräg gegenüber war super - mit allen Anliegen konnten wir uns an sie wenden. Und die vielen Katzen boten gute Abwechslung.
Also: Wir kommen wieder zu einem perfekten Urlaub mit optimaler Erholung! Vielen Dank!

ist mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet,es ist alles da ,was man benötigt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.Bei auftretenden Fragen oder Problemen sind netten Nach-barn stets zur Stelle.
Madeira muss jeder selbst erleben. Unsere Meinung ist, dass man das wirkliche Madeira nur mit dem Auto geniessen kann.
Wir haben schon viele Ferienhäuser gemietet, dieses gehört mit zu den besten. Im Preis–Leistungs-Verhältnis und in der liebevollen Betreuung vor Ort (Fam. Recktenwald - Danke) ist es der Sieger.
Die Kaffeemaschine funktionierte bestens, der Toaster ist wunderbar und Tassen, Teller, Gläser, Besteck, … sind mehr da als der Geschirrspüler aufnehmen kann.
Die Heizkörper (Infarot) sind Super, man kann sich kältere Monate hier sehr gemütlich vorstellen.
Kleinigkeiten, wie zum Beispiel frische Blumen bei Ankunft, eine kleine Flasche des typischen Madeiraweines, … tragen ebenfalls zum Wohlgefühl bei.
Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!
Und (auch sehr wichtig): Unkomplizierte, sehr freundliche Mietabwicklung, ein herzlicher Empfang durch die Nachbarin, die vor Ort immer ansprechbar ist, wenn man Fragen hat.
Wir waren schon häufig auf Madeira, aber zum ersten Mal in der "Villa-Hentschel" - wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!!!
