The vacation rental fewo1846 - Baltic Lodge is a spacious maisonette with a total of 130 m² of living space, located on the second floor of Fördepromenade 12 in Flensburg. The location is impressive due to its close proximity to the Flensburg Fjord: only about 20 meters separate the accommodation from the sea, while the nearest sandy beach is easily accessible within a kilometer. An exceptionally good sea view is one of the outstanding features of this accommodation and can be enjoyed from several rooms.
The Baltic Lodge is modern and well-maintained. The accommodation can accommodate up to six people in three bedrooms with parquet flooring. Two comfortably equipped bathrooms, one of which has a floor-level shower, ensure sufficient privacy and comfort. Additional amenities such as a hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, and bath towels are provided, as well as a washing machine and dryer for your personal use.
The central living area extends over two levels and is tastefully furnished. The living room is furnished with a comfortable sofa and first-class media technology, including two large cable TVs (44–55 inches), Blu-ray and DVD players, and a modern sound system. The dining area, including a dining table, is directly adjacent to the closed kitchen, which leaves nothing to be desired: In addition to a modern ceramic stove, oven, microwave, and refrigerator with freezer compartment, you will find a dishwasher and numerous kitchen utensils, dishes, cutlery, dish towels, and a Nespresso espresso machine. A kettle and toaster complete the versatile kitchen equipment.
From the balcony, you can enjoy relaxing hours with an impressive view of the water. Garden furniture and wind protection make your stay outdoors particularly pleasant. The accommodation has central heating and is a non-smoking area; a vestibule and cloakroom provide additional comfort in everyday life.
The Baltic Lodge is ideal for families with children: high chairs and appropriate equipment ensure family-friendly conditions, and babies are welcome. Youth groups are not permitted, which contributes to the peace and quiet of the neighborhood.
Further advantages include the elevator, free private parking, and fast internet (from 100 Mbit/s via cable/fiber optic), which offers flexible usage options for both leisure and business travelers. The accommodation is equipped with smoke detectors and meets modern safety standards.

The Marina Sonwik, in which the holiday apartment is located, is located directly on the western bank of the Flensburg Fjord, only about two kilometers from Flensburg city center. It is in the Mürwik district, a quiet and well-kept area known for its charming location on the fjord. The marina is located in a former naval port, which is now a modern and chic marina area with elegant residential complexes, restaurants and small boutiques. Here, modern, maritime flair meets historical architecture and a wonderful natural backdrop.
From the marina you have a fantastic view of the fjord and the gently rolling coastline that stretches all the way to Denmark. There are beautiful walking paths all around that lead along the waterline and offer the opportunity to enjoy the fresh Baltic Sea air and the wide view over the water. The city center of Flensburg with its historic merchants' yards and lively pedestrian zone can also be reached quickly - either on foot, by bike or by bus.
Marina Sonwik is also an ideal starting point for boat trips along the fjord and to Denmark, with numerous mooring options and perfect connections for sailors and water sports enthusiasts. The marina is also a worthwhile destination for non-sailors, as the cozy cafés and restaurants at the harbor invite you to relax and often offer regional delicacies and freshly caught fish. The combination of maritime atmosphere, elegant living and picturesque nature makes Marina Sonwik a special place that exudes a real coastal flair.

We had a very nice and relaxing week in the comfortable apartment. The highlight is of course the veranda with the open 180-degree view over the fjord. But otherwise, the apartment left nothing to be desired.

The apartment is really spacious and furnished to a high standard. The view of the harbor is spectacular; even in bad weather, one can wonderfully observe the boats in the harbor coming and going, and in good weather, additionally enjoy the sun and fresh air. The kitchen is excellently equipped, so one can prepare anything they want. Alternatively, the surrounding area offers numerous restaurants and cafés, and the city center of Flensburg is just a stone's throw away. Especially nice are the handmade postcards with motifs from the harbor!
