Description

The “Kajüte am Nordermarkt” studio apartment welcomes you to the heart of Flensburg's old town, right next to the historic Nordermarkt. This stylish apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a historic building and was last extensively renovated in 2025. Covering an area of 29 m², the one-room apartment can accommodate up to two people and combines modern comfort with a maritime atmosphere.

The accommodation has an open-plan design, which creates a pleasant sense of spaciousness thanks to the clever combination of living and kitchen areas. The easy-care vinyl floors underline the contemporary furnishings and create a harmonious living environment. The apartment is equipped with privacy screens for all windows, promising restful nights.

In the living area, a TV with international cable connection (35-44 inches, digital) invites you to enjoy entertaining programs. High-quality, fast Wi-Fi (from 100 Mbit/s, cable/fiber optic) is available, allowing you to surf the internet or work from home without any problems. The vacation apartment is non-smoking and equipped with a smoke detector.

The open-plan kitchen is modern and fully equipped: you will find a ceramic hob, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, espresso machine (Cafissimo), coffee machine, kettle, and a wide range of crockery and kitchen utensils. Spices are also provided, especially for guests who enjoy cooking. The adjoining dining area offers a comfortable dining table for shared meals.

The modern shower room provides hand towels, bath towels, and a hairdryer. A washing machine for your own use, iron, ironing board, clothes horse, and vacuum cleaner ensure maximum practical independence during your stay. Thanks to central heating, you can enjoy a cozy atmosphere even on cooler days. For extra comfort, bed linen, towels, and dish towels are provided at the beginning of your stay.

Private parking is available free of charge within walking distance, making it easy to arrive by car. However, a car is not essential during your stay. Unfortunately, bicycles cannot be stored.

The vacation apartment is ideal for couples and solo travelers who want to stay in the lively old town. Breakfast option: Start the day in the cozy Café Mette, located directly on the ground floor.

The location on Nordermarkt is a real advantage for culture lovers and city travelers: museums, theaters, cinemas, restaurants, and shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity—a supermarket is only about 50 meters away, and restaurants are just 10 meters away. Flensburg's sights, tourist attractions, and the picturesque harbor area are within walking distance. The distance to the Flensburg Fjord is only 200 meters, and the sandy beach is just under 2.5 kilometers away. There are also opportunities for water sports, boat trips, surfing, windsurfing, and sailing in the surrounding area. I had a wonderful time in your apartment. The small coffee machine that I bought and that is now in the dishwasher, you can leave for the next guests in the apartment. You can hear the smallest noise and at night you can't sleep well without earplugs.

Spent 4 days in this beautiful vacation apartment. From the North Sea (near St. Peter-Ording) to the Baltic Sea. New Year's Eve at Nordermarkt was wonderful.

The renovated and top comfortable vacation apartment in the charming old building on the second floor with a view of the lively hustle and bustle of Nordermarkt and the good property management, everything was available and worked well . . . . . (Wi-Fi connection was occasionally interrupted). The often criticized steep stairs to the apartment posed no problem for us at all, as this "problem" simply arises from the situation in an old building and is only a bit tedious during move-in/move-out when transporting luggage. The parking space belonging to the apartment (approx. 300m away) was not usable in our case, as our car (Audi A6) was simply too wide for the entrance, which we do not attribute as a deficiency to the provider, as it cannot be changed.

It was a wonderful week in Flensburg in the holiday apartment "Kajüte am Nordermarkt". The apartment has everything you need, but time goes by much too quickly. We traveled by motorcycle from the Lower Rhine (Xanten). The parking lot at Marienstraße 46 was ideal (the motorcycle was safe). The central location in the city as well as to Denmark were decisive for the choice of the holiday apartment. Our motorcycle tours took us to Husum (to visit former colleagues), Glücksburg, Sonderburg, Odense, the island of Romo, and Marsk Tower, etc. Of course, we also explored Flensburg, which we really enjoyed, despite the weather (lots of rain). We couldn't find that it was loud in front of the apartment (pedestrian zone) (maybe because of the weather). Thank you. A narrow staircase leads to the apartment; it was no problem for us. But as a note in the description, that would be great.
