The lovingly decorated shepherd's house invites you to enjoy the cosy atmosphere and immerse yourself in the past and the rustic life of the old heath farmers. On our Limbeck holiday farm we offer picturesque holiday homes in a class of their own. Historic half-timbered houses that make a holiday the truly most beautiful time of the year. Our historic Limbeck holiday farm lies between junipers and beech trees. Here, at the gates of the heath village of Neuenkirchen, also known as Schnuckendorf, there are extensive areas of heath and woodland near the farm to explore by bike or on foot. Afterwards, relax in our picturesque half-timbered house and put your feet up - just like the shepherds used to do after a day on the heath. A traditional holiday home for 8 people.
The shepherd's house was built in 1718 and was the home of the shepherd and his family. He looked after the farm's own flock of 120-200 mother sheep.
The cosy furnishings of the house are in harmony with the antique flair of the house.
The shepherd's house is about 120 square metres in size and is divided into:
4 bedrooms with 2 beds each,
1 bathroom with shower and WC on the ground floor,
1 bathroom with shower and WC on the 1st floor,
1 kitchen with large dining table for 8 persons,
1 cosy living room with TV
A coach house makes it possible to enjoy the outdoors even when the weather is not favourable.
There is also a terrace with a large garden.
You cannot bring a dog with you.

The holiday farm Limbeck is situated as a single farm between forest, meadows and fields. In the immediate vicinity there are walking and cycling paths which open up a charming, lovely landscape with its woods, meadows, moors, curtilages and heathland.

Start directly from our farm to explore the heath in the landscape conservation area around the Stichter See, or visit the popular Schnuckendorf Neuenkirchen with a sheep farm and about 700 heidschnucken.
Those who enjoy sports can choose from skiing in the Snow Dome, swimming in the Soltau thermal baths or a canoe trip on one of the small Heide rivers.
Families are drawn to the Heide Park for adventure tours, or if you want to see wild animals up close, visit the Serengeti Park in Hodenhagen.
With its central location, the Limbeck holiday farm is an excellent starting point for exploring the entire Heide region
