Description
The holiday home is located on a large property on the banks of the Zwönitz. It was completely renovated in 2021. There is room for 2-5 people on 90 m². There is the possibility to barbecue in the garden. There are several parking spaces on the property, and bicycles can also be parked. The house has 3 bedrooms, 1 large living room with sitting area and fireplace and wall-mounted TV, kitchen with dining table for 5 people, 1 bathroom with shower and WC, 1 guest WC, large balcony with dining table for 6 people. There is a sauna barrel and an outdoor shower on the property, which can be used by arrangement.

Location and surroundings of object
From here you can explore many sights. The moated castle of Klaffenbach is 8km away, as is Augustusburg Castle in 17 km. There are many cycling and hiking trails to discover by bike or on foot. The city train (Erfenschlag-Ost stop is 1 min walk from the house) can take you to Chemnitz city centre in 15 min to visit various museums (Kunstsammlungen Chemnitz, SMAC Archaeology Museum, Gunzenhauser Museum, Industrial Museum) as well as the Schauspielhaus, Opera and Theatre Chemnitz. The Fichtelberg mountain is a 60-minute drive away, as is the world-famous toy village of Seiffen, as well as the city of Leipzig and the state capital of Dresden.

Relaxation oasis and base for excursions in the Ore Mountains
We (five of us) only rented the holiday home on the Zwönitz near Chemnitz for a weekend, but here are our impressions in brief:
After the very warm welcome by our host and the guided tour of the house and property, we enjoyed the first evening with a barbecue and the wonderful barrel sauna with wood stove.
(For friends of game, a detour to the game dealer nearby is worthwhile; there are delicious things for the grill and other treats for the palate).
The house is otherwise modern and very well equipped, we wanted for nothing.
There is a nice terrace on the upper floor where you can dine and relax very well. The sauna lounge is also recommended.
The Netto market is a 5-10 minute walk away and the connection to Chemnitz by train is also within easy reach, but not disturbing as far as the background noise is concerned.
The house is in a quiet location and there are numerous excursion options in the Erzgebirge, which we will definitely use on our next longer ;) Visit, we will certainly make use of them.
In short, a clear recommendation for a good rest, both passive and active!
