The more elegant vacation home Glicine it is part of a very carefully restored villa in a dreamlike single position on the east side of Lake Vico, 50km north of Rome. The magnificent property is situated on a hill and offers an enchanting view of the lake. It is surrounded by a magnificent sunny garden with well-kept grounds, trees and many flowers. Can accommodate up to 5 people. A larger nucleus can also rent an annex with separate entrance. The house Glicine consists of: 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with shower cabin, an outdoor shower, a hallway, living / dining room with fully equipped kitchenette (4 burners, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker Krups). The living room has direct access to the panoramic terrace. The terrace with pergola is equipped for outdoor meals
Glicine cottage offers all the comforts of modern life. The thick walls provide peace, shade and a stable temperature (about 22-23 °C) throughout the summer without the need for air conditioning. The breeze of the lake and a natural ventilation (650 m above sea level) ensure a low presence of mosquitoes. Relaxation is guaranteed.

The property, Holiday House Glicine, is located near the Vicosee, its picturesque road historically known as the Via Francigena, and can be reached from Rome in 50 minutes via the Via Cassia Bis. The impressive hilly area around Lake Vico was declared a nature reserve as early as 1982. The site is located between Rome and Lake Bolsena the heartland of the Etruscans, who lived a splendid life. Traces of the Etruscans can be found everywhere in this part of Lazio
The highlight of any trip to this area is Tarquinia, Cerveteri and the nearby rock necropolises near Viterbo. Lago di Vico is an ideal starting point for delightful excursions into the nature and culture of the surrounding area. The restaurants in the area are good, warmly friendly and modestly priced. The villa consists of several buildings that blend harmoniously into the landscape and an enchanting garden with a unique view. The lake is 2 km away, Viterbo with its world-famous thermal bath TERME dei Papi with 30°C warm sulphur water is 16 km away, shopping facilities are 3 km away, a golf course is 15 km away from Sutri.
