We can highly recommend the holiday bungalow. Everything you need is there. Parking is available right in front of the house. Everything is on one level. Cozy furnishings in Bavarian style, very clean and up to date. The landlords are very nice and always approachable. They provide many great excursion recommendations. Dogs are always welcome. The terrace with a bit of lawn is fenced. We would love to come back. T & A

Perfectly successful vacation

Thank you very much for the wonderful vacation week. The holiday home was very clean and had everything that a person and a dog need. For cool evenings, the pellet stove could be used for heating. In the area, there are many hiking routes of all difficulty levels as well as everything needed for daily shopping. The landlords gave us many tips and were always available. If you're looking for peace and relaxation, this is the right place!

A beautiful vacation

A beautiful, perfectly equipped holiday home for humans and dogs. Everything you need is available, including for the dog, just as it was described. We were warmly welcomed by Ms. Berndt and shown around the house. There is a pellet stove in the house, and it was explained in detail how to operate it. Ms. Berndt gave us tips for excursions and restaurants, and there was also plenty of informational material available. Throughout the week, our hostess also inquired repeatedly whether everything was okay or if we needed anything.
In short, the vacation home Wickie is highly recommended; everything corresponds to the description.

Very nice holiday home.

In the Wickie house, everything is available. Even for our female dogs, there were super comfortable dog beds, dog towels, and bowls. Everything was very clean and like new. The Berndt family was always approachable and took care of small problems immediately. There are beautiful hiking opportunities from the house. And in the village, there is a great restaurant. The surrounding area offers many beautiful hiking options.

great holiday home, top location, very friendly hosts, dog-friendly

We traveled with our 2 Boxer males and were warmly welcomed and received an overview of the highlights that are recommended in the region.
During our stay, we hiked a lot (Lusen, Dreisessel, National Park, etc.), enjoyed wonderful dinners in the great restaurants in the region, and were able to take many beautiful experiences with us. The accommodation is excellently equipped, nothing was missing, and the two dogs felt very comfortable and were able to sleep just as well as we did. The location is very quiet, there is a bakery and shopping market nearby, which I visited daily for breakfast.
A very nice summer vacation in 2024 in the Bavarian Forest.

Great family vacation

We had beautiful and varied days. The Wickie holiday home was a great place to stay during our time there, and we felt very comfortable. There were plenty of activities, great hikes, and attractive outings for the children. Our dog also felt at home.

Cottage to feel good

We have already seen many vacation rentals and can judge that this is one of the most beautiful and cozy ones. The landlords are extremely nice and provide tips for activities in the surrounding area. Unfortunately, we were not able to implement all plans due to illness, but we are sure that we will come back and make up for it. We felt comfortable!

Holiday with dogs

Beautiful, well-equipped holiday home. Everything necessary for the dogs is also available. Very nice location on the outskirts, only a few hundred meters to the center. Very nice and helpful hosts. In addition to many great recommendations for hikes, gastronomy, and much more, they are also immediately available to help with problems. We had very cool weather in mid-June - one call was enough, after a few minutes the stove was roaring, and there were many good tips on the side. We enjoyed the time very much.

We had a very beautiful and relaxing week in a super great holiday home. The very nice reception made us feel at home immediately. The house is decorated with a lot of love and nothing is missing. An absolute oasis of well-being!!! Even our dog felt very comfortable and you could feel that he was welcome. We can recommend this holiday home 1000 percent and will book it again ourselves.

Short vacation with dog

Almost can't be better. A lovingly furnished cottage where you don't miss anything. Even a dog bed, food bowl, and dog towel were available. A very warm welcome with many tips for nearby excursions. The only thing that might bother some people is the proximity to the road, but it wasn't a problem for us. For dog owners, it is certainly important to note that the garden is not fenced, so the dog should be able to be restricted or kept on a leash. We will definitely come back.

Very very beautiful

Now we were already the second time in the holiday home Wickie. Again it was beautiful and almost like "coming home". Michaela and Thomas are simply the perfect landlords. There are valuable tips for activities and restaurants, they are always there when you need them. Even my birthday was pleasantly enhanced with cake (so delicious). The little house is lovingly furnished, you can help yourself to the herb garden and everything you need is there. It was certainly not our last visit there, because the scenery, accommodation and Michaela and Thomas have become very dear to us.

Very clean

We had a great time here with our dog. The house is super clean and well maintained. It is equipped with everything you need; we didn't miss anything. There are also plenty of storage options and a large wardrobe. The bathroom, bedroom, and living room are spacious enough, the kitchen is a bit small but sufficient. Nice terrace with good garden furniture, plus a decent grill is available. The location is good, you can reach the bakery, Edeka, and the butcher Bauer (highly recommended) in just a few minutes' walk. There are also many dining options nearby, such as Jägerstöckl, Schmugglerhof, Kleblmühle, and Haus Fernblick, although you may need to drive there or incorporate them into your hiking tour... But they all cook well and the prices are also absolutely fine. Thank you for the wonderful vacation!

Our vacation at Ferienhaus Wickie had something to offer for everyone:

In addition to relaxed walks through the village and the Bavarian Forest, the surrounding area also offers great leisure activities for kids and adults (city tours, nature park, outdoor pools, sledging tracks, etc.).

After each outing, returning to Ferienhaus Wickie felt like coming home.

Cozy, practical, and very clean and tastefully furnished, we felt very comfortable there.

We found a very cozy, rustic holiday home. Our 3 Beardies felt very comfortable... we did too, and everything you need for a vacation was available. This house is highly recommended. Anytime again

Very idyllic location with great views, exceptionally clean and furnished with love. Everything you need is available. Ideal for holidays with a dog. The hosts take this very seriously. Sympathetic, helpful without being pushy.
Beautiful hiking trails right outside the front door, Passau (worth seeing!) is about 45 minutes away.
We will certainly come again.

A dream!!!!

I have been to many holiday homes and campsites with my dog Jacky. But this house is number 1 for me.
Beautiful holiday home with everything you could imagine. There is absolutely everything you need. The best thing is the beautiful pellet stove, which makes the house warm in no time, even in the current sub-zero temperatures.
It's a dream for my dog, lots of hiking trails, along the Ilz river, it really doesn't get any better!!!
And now to the landlords Michaela and Thomas:
Rarely have I met such nice people.
If you have any questions about hiking trails or restaurants, or anything else, they are always on the spot.
As there are still a few days unoccupied, I am currently considering whether to extend my stay.
This accommodation can really only be recommended!!!!!

A beautiful log cabin with charm

We spent Christmas/New Year in the holiday home Wickie.
The log cabin was beautiful and perfect for us with a dog.
Amenities, cleanliness, and booking were top-notch! Other landlords could learn a thing or two from this.
We were warmly welcomed by Michaela and Thomas. You miss nothing and feel at ease as soon as you enter the house. It was furnished and equipped with great attention to detail. In the comfortable dog bed, there was a treat and a toy; perfect for our Buddy, of course.
The landlords are reserved yet always reachable, helpful, and have great excursion tips.
We cooked delicious meals and went on wonderful walks and hikes with Buddy.
10 days of peace, relaxation, magical moments, coziness...decelerated!!!

Holiday like with friends

The contact from the beginning of the booking to the arrival very sympathetic. Such a warm and cordial welcome from the couple. This holiday home is furnished with much love, tastefully and comfortably. The area is a dream for trips by motorbike. We had 2 dogs with us, which also felt very comfortable. Long walks through the woods and meadows are wonderful. The bread service also works very well. The Berndt family always has an idea in store if you need a tip. Uncomplicated and always on hand. Superb holiday home in a quiet location

We have just spent 2 weeks (with child and dog, 2 adults) in the holiday home Wickie: the house has been beautifully prepared with a lot of love and nothing is missing! The house is extremely clean and well equipped and the Berndt family provides a warm welcome. The location is quiet and you have a very beautiful view of the sunset from the terrace.
