Beautiful!

We were here from June 4th to 12th and everything was arranged down to the last detail!
In one word WOW!
What a beautiful view, we never got tired of it!

We stayed a bit longer and had trouble with the length of the beds, therefore no 5 stars for the furnishings. We had to lie at the width of the double bed above because otherwise we both lay over the footboard.

Furthermore, we were incredibly lucky with the weather, the surroundings are BEAUTIFUL, we walked a lot and enjoyed coming back there with a homemade snack or drink! Super nice bathroom with a bath! Here too, it was just standing for me in the bath, and my partner unfortunately could not stand in the bath due to his height.

All in all, I find it a pity that it is already fully booked for next year; otherwise, I would have certainly booked it again without hesitation! Thank you, Monika, for your hospitality and service!

Beautiful location, great house

The house is secluded, but you can be in civilization in 10 minutes. You can also go on great hikes directly from the cabin. The cabin itself is fenced, which was great for the dog. Everything you need is really there, even towels are sufficiently available. The view is fantastic, there are plenty of excursion destinations practically at your doorstep, and if you can live with baked rolls, it’s perfect. The rooms are practically furnished, and yes, here and there it is a bit cramped, but incredibly quaint and cozy. The landlady is super nice, always approachable and helpful. We would definitely book again. A place of longing!

Mega beautiful

The Steinhäusel is really unbelievably beautiful. If you want to feel the power of the mountains intensively, this is exactly the right place. It is certainly not recommended for five-star tourists (see review), but for people who love the mountains it is really incredibly beautiful. We had a wonderful time here and can only recommend this dreamlike jewel in the midst of an enchanting mountain scenery. Kind regards Sabrina Mirko Tom Matti and the dogs. ?

Dreamlike beautiful

We had a great holiday. Mrs Haupt welcomed us warmly and showed and explained everything to us. The cottage is super cosy and well maintained, everything you need was there. The view is just great.
Our son also liked it very much, he could play in the fenced area and had a lot of fun
We enjoyed watching the deer running across the meadows.
The dog also liked it
We will definitely come back and can only recommend the cottage

Summer fairy tale

If you want to find peace and quiet, this is the place for you.
A beautiful rustic house for those who just want to spend their holidays. It has everything you need and is a good starting point for daily activities. Even those who don't want to do anything will find a place here and can switch off wonderfully.

Eckel Vacation Village

For vacationers who have a certain demand for cleanliness and who are not physically able to step over their partner at night (because there is only a maximum of 15-20cm between the wall and the bed), the Steinhäusl in September 2017 is not recommended! Furthermore, for someone who sits normally on the toilet, it is not possible to close the toilet door, as the knees and feet are in the way. That the refrigerator is under the stairs in a storage room would be fine, but here and also in the upper bedroom, it has not been cleaned for a very long time (spiders and dust in masses)! Unfortunately, it is also not mentioned in the brochure that there is only a wood-burning stove in the kitchen/living room for heating and 2 electric oil radiators for the other rooms. I left on the day of arrival!

Es tut mit Leid, dass Sie Ihren Urlaub nicht genießen konnten. Ich bitte alle Gäste sich vor ihrem Urlaub gut auf unserer Homepage zu informieren. Da gibt es einen Grundriss des Häuschens zu sehen und Fotos von jedem Zimmer. Es ist also ersichtlich, dass es sich um ein kleines Holzhaus handelt. Auch steht darin, dass das Haus nur mit einem Holzherd und Elektroradiatoren zu heizen ist, was im August eigentlich kein Problem sein sollte. Es gibt ein Zimmer mit zwei Betten die 190 cm lang sind und aus denen man einfach aus und einsteigen kann und eines mit 200 cm langen Doppelbetten, dafür aber nur wenig Platz um darum herum zu gehen. Wenn es einem seine körperliche Verfassung nicht zulässt um das Doppelbett herumzugehen, so könnte man das andere Zimmer wählen!!! Die Toilette ist wirklich sehr klein aber die Tür lässt sich ohne weiteres schließen Die Toilette selbst wurde sogar um drei Zentimeter zurückversetzt mehr war leider nicht möglich. Dass das Haus voll Spinnen und Staub war entspricht einfach nicht der Wahrheit. Es wurde an dem Tag komplett durchgesaut und gewischt. Natürlich steht das Haus mitten in der Natur und es kann schon mal sein, dass sich bei geöffneten Fenstern eine Spinne ins Haus verirrt. Jedoch hat sich noch nie ein Gast beschwert es sei nicht sauber. Dies kann auch ohne weiteres im Gästebuch nachlesen werden. Bei der Ankunft und der gemeinsamen Besichtigung gab es keine Beschwerden und es wurde nicht gesagt, dass etwas nicht in Ordnung wäre, auch wurde ich nicht telefonisch kontaktiert um eventuell das Haus nochmal reinigen zu lassen, sondern sind einfach ohne etwas zu sagen abgereist und haben sich erst einen Tag danach per Mail gemeldet.
