My grandson and I really enjoyed the week. The short distances to the beach speak for the house by the park. The furnishings were good, but the shower overflowed very quickly and the flush didn't work particularly well. Perhaps that was also due to the location on the 3rd floor. However, the view was excellent. We have already booked again for next year, but this time with an outdoor parking space. The underground garage, especially the edge spots, are quite unusual and narrow.

We were in the vacation apartment in the last week of August. The apartment is very cozily furnished and has everything needed. The bakery and supermarket are very quickly reachable within a few minutes on foot. We also really liked the possibility of parking the vehicle in the underground garage of the building. Meanwhile, we have spent our "break" multiple times in this beautiful and centrally located vacation apartment. This year, the apartment has been spruced up with some new furniture. However, what has become apparent this time is that a stove with only 2 cooking plates and no oven leaves something to be desired. With the overcrowded restaurants, especially during the holidays, cooking for self-supply is quite laborious. In the end, there remains a bitter aftertaste for us. Starting this year, the apartment is only being rented with one bedroom. The converted attic, with a second bedroom, has been removed from rental. This means we will unfortunately not be able to book this apartment again.

It is a beautiful apartment for two. Upstairs, it is certainly cozy for children - only for children. The location of the property "House by the Park" has charm; hopefully, no one will build in front of the park! We have already tried several apartments - always with pleasure.

We were at the Baltic Sea for the first time and were very surprised by the little town of Kühlungsborn and the hotel complex. Although the weather was mixed, we had a very pleasant stay. On sunny days, it was all about beach life. When it was heavily clouded or raining, we strolled along the promenade, let the wind blow around our ears, or explored the nearby surroundings. We visited the Maritime Museum in Rostock, cycled to the lighthouse, and enjoyed the local gastronomy. The surroundings of Kühlungsborn are practically inviting for cycling – even without an e-bike. The nearby sea and beach are also well suited for sunbathing, relaxing, digging, running, and even short baths, even with outside temperatures of only 19-21°. The Corona-related regulations and restrictions are well implemented and barely diminish the joy of the holiday.
